It was difficult being Student Council President.

It was even more difficult when you were of mixed blood, and everyone could tell.

Remy had been living in Japan since she was in middle school, but even so, she still encountered people who treated her differently just because she wasn't born here. When she had first been given the position of Student Council President, some people even thought it was out of pity because she had always had trouble fitting in. Those who were paying attention to the class rankings, however, knew different. She was always at the top of her class, though she only had a couple of friends. Her social skills weren't... the best. She had sacrificed a lot to remain at the top of her class in such a competitive country.

Today was going to be one of those difficult days.

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez was a known troublemaker, so whenever a rumor got around that he was up to no good, it fell on her to investigate it to see if there was any imminent danger. The answer turned out to be yes more than she would have liked. And today, there had been reports of him talking about setting something (the 'something' changing with each retelling) on fire. Normally, she wouldn't investigate without good reason. She was supposed to, but the Student Council comprised of fifteen students for a number significantly more than that. If they investigated every dangerous rumor, they would never get anything done. But, in this case it was more than the rumor. First of all, it was Grimmjow. Second of all, a student had apparently seen him with a lighter. Which was prohibited.

The rest of the council was more then willing to let her handle him, for a few of reasons: She had dealt with him before, she wasn't afraid of him, and she took no one's shit. So, here she was, looking for him after school was out, knowing he usually hung out by the track with Ulquiorra and Coyote. Sometimes there were more of them, but those two were the constants.

Making her way over to them, she completely ignored the conversation they were having, walking right up to the taller, blue-haired man, and held out her hand.

"Hand over the lighter." She didn't want to waste anymore time than was necessary for this interaction. Not that she didn't like him. She did. She liked him more than she should. His dangerous habits, his rough personality, how devilishly attractive he was. And that was precisely why she didn't want this interaction lasting that long. He must never find out.

All things considered, she thought she hid it pretty well.

How was it possible for people to be so fucking boring lately, but also simultaneously annoying?! It made absolutely no sense, and dammit, Grimmjow needed an outlet, something to take the edge off before he became too impulsive. And thus, how the rumors began-- arson, at its finest. The young man had a penchant for vandalism, everyone knew, but arson was certainly a more rare occurrence. The last time he was a firebug, he had torched the hideout of a rival group, burned it right to the ground.

This time, however, he was going a bit.... bigger. There was an abandoned building on the outskirts of town, and the rival group had began taking root there, much to his displeasure. What's worse, however, was the fact that he's found out some of those bastards had been messing with some burial sites as well as temporary shrines at death sites, desecrating them. If he had it his way, he'd make sure the bastards were inside as well, put an end to their bullshit. He didn't have time to deal with scumbags forever-- he'd much rather crush them underheel and be done with it all. Besides, the world can do without so many garbage humans, right?

Alas, with the arrival of his favorite Student Council President, Remi, he had a feeling she'd put a hivcup in his plans, in one way or another. When she made her demand so rudely, he smirked, and put his hands on his hips as he leaned forward towards her, stooping just enough to be mocking, but still taller than the girl before him. "Haaah? What lighter?" He asked coyly, tilting his head at the other. "If you wanted to get warm, all you needed to do was ask me to hold ya~" He purred, chuckling soon after. "Remi, darling, I don't have what you seek.... However, I may be willing to help you out with something, if you are up to trade." He cooed, before standing straight, while Coyote rolled his eyes, and Ulquiorra looked to the side, unamused. Both young men have seen interactions like this, time and time again.

Remi would come over, demanding Grimmjow behave himself, in one way or another, and the bastard would flirt in response, and only comply if it suited his fancy. It was like clockwork, really. The only difference was whether the asshole had contraband or was the center of a vicious or scandalous rumor, and whether or not he actually had or did what he was being accused of.

Remi just let out a sigh. She had a feeling it was going to be like this... he never cooperated with her. And if he did, it was because he thought it would benefit him in some way. But either way, it was never on the first try. But she didn't have time or patience for his bullshit today. She had more important things to do. At least his friends never joined him in his cajoling. That would be too much for her to handle.

Mimicking his stance a little, she placed her own hands on her hips. "Fine. If you don't have a lighter, prove it. Empty out your bag. Once I know you aren't carrying anything dangerous, I'll leave." She honestly hated talking to him this way. She hated talking to anyone this way. Briefly, she wondered if she would have more friends if she had never taken on this role. But... too late now.

"Come on. I'm sure neither of us want this interaction to go on longer than necessary." it was easiest to just ignore his flirtatious comments. She always just assumed he did this to everyone who have him a hard time. Granted, she had never actually seen him do this to anyone else, but she also never really paid attention to how he interacted with others outside his friend group. But there was no way such an attitude could come so naturally otherwise.

Grimmjow chuckled, before another smirk graced his lips, flashing a peek of his sharp canines. "What bag? Do you two see a bag?" He looked to his friends, who, also, didn't seem to have bags. "Sorry, sweetheart, but if you really wanna find a lighter on me so bad, you'll have to give me a pat-down~" He purred, winking. "Unless you're too pure to be properly thorough, find what you so desperately think I have~?" He asked, leaning in closer to her face.

"Then again.... I'd prefer to be taken out for dinner before I let just anyone be handsy.... But, I could make an exception, if you let me take you out this weekend?" He stood straight as he asked, crossing his arms over his broad chest. Ulquirra put his face in his hands, all while Coyote groaned. "Grimm, hurry this up, we got plans." He insisted, but Grimmjow mostly, mostly ignored him. The only acknowledgement he gave was an irritated twitch of his eyebrow. "So, Remi, how about it? I'll let ya give me a pat down if you let me take you out. Sound like a deal~?"
