How to Train your Curse (Yuji/Sukuna x Megumi)

Of all the things he could have imagined would happen after that fateful night he ate Sukuna's cursed finger, he never thought he'd have to live with him. By some strange twist of luck, the King of Curses was able to manifest himself outside of Yuji, though with some limitations. He could never leave Yuji's presence entirely unless he wanted to be stuck inside of the teenager again, and if Yuji dies, the Curse would die as well, or at least this partial iteration of Sukuna. With Gojo's help, and an oddly suspect collar, more restrictions were set in place, much to Sukuna's chagrin. He wasn't allowed to go on the rampage he desired, and if given certain commands, he would be dropped to the ground, or dragged back to the wearer of similarly matching bracelets. However, those two items were paired with Yuji and Megumi-- which were quite the annoyance to the curse.
After a week of 'curse-proofing' a shared dorm space, the three had gotten things managed, for the most part. There were still scratch marks on the walls and floor when the two teenagers gave the commands a spin, and they've long replaced most diningware with shatter proof options, as Sukuna was more than happy to throw things in place of using his abilities. Now, Sukuna was far from docile-- he still made things difficult for the two young men in any way he could, be it moving important supplies or throwing their clothes outside in the rain if left alone for too long. The man was certainly a hassle, and it was a miracle that Yuji had the patience of a saint, for the most part.
Today, however, was a day when the vessel was not dealing with any of his Curse's shenanigans. How the argument began was lost now, as the pair wrestled and bickered on the floor, the two pinkettes attempting to get the upper hand on the other without breaking anything. Hands pushed into faces, a few punches thrown, and a small bit of blood smudges on the floor would greet Megumi once he'd return from his errand run. Ah, the argument began when Yuji boldy made the offhanded comment that he and Megumi should look into declawing Sukuna after he left the damage on their wall and floor. Clearly, Sukuna wasn't all too humored by the idea, especially when it was clearly unneccessary.
It was a good thing the dorm rooms were fairly sound proof, or someone would have come to investigate the commotion within by now. God knows the trouble they would be in if the Principal had to be involved.

He approached the dorm room with some bags and a paint can in hand. He reached for the door handle, sighing heavily as he reluctantly spent his afternoon on an errand run to fix up the dorm yet again after one of Sukuna’s fits—and this wouldn’t be the last time. When he agreed to retrieve the cursed item, that fateful day that he met Yuji, he wasn’t expecting his life to take this drastic turn. He definitely wasn’t expecting the pinkette to eat said cursed item and bond the King of Curses to this plane. Gojo-sensei entrusted him and Yuji to watch over Sukuna, however, and he planned to do just that. But no one said he had to be happy about it.
He opened the door to be greeted by screaming, cursing, and overall chaos. He dropped the bags of supplies and the paint can at the entrance and stomped into the common space to see the two wrestling on the floor. He glared at them both, he thought Yuji knew better than to participate in an altercation as such. He called for them to stop, but when the chaos ensued, he demanded Sukuna heel.
The commands were helpful, he was glad that Gojo-sensei had some sense to collar Sukuna or there would be no way for the two young men to control the curse. If they thought Sukuna was bad now, just imagine him unhinged. With the command initiated and Sukuna reluctantly obedient at this moment, Megumi took a look around. He sighed, ‘It could be worse’ he reminded himself as he took in the mess. ‘Wait, is that blood?’ he thought as he noticed small red smear marks on the floor. “Who’s bleeding?” he demanded, walking to the bathroom to grab the first aid kit.

Yuji was startled out of his rough-housing mentality when Sukuna was made to heel-- being dragged to Megumi's side in a half laying, half sitting position, and being quite perturbed by it-- and quickly saw the disappointment on the other's face. He opened his mouth to try to defend himself, but the energy the ravenette gave off closed his mouth, and made him sit properly where he remained, head lowered. For being the 'Tiger' of his former school, he was more like a puppy with.... unnatural strength and speed. All the same, in his rough state, he certainly looked pitiful.
When asked who was bleeding, Yuji began to look himself over, noting blood smudges on himself, only for Sukuna to pipe up. "Both of us, more than likely." The man huffed, rather irritated by it all. "He got a good swing at me, and I'm certain I scratched the brat at some point--" "You're the one that took a swipe at me like some feral cat over a joke!!" "And I am not some cat!! And besides, that sort of thing is heartlessly cruel to do to any animal unnecessarily!!" The curse spat back, recalling how all his fingers had been removed in the first place. Clearly, it was a rather sore spot for the curse.
Yuji tch'd, before looking away, having a feeling Megumi would have words of his own on the matter, all while being impartial, he was sure. The pair waited in tense silence for the shikigami user to return, the vessel squirming faintly where he sat. Now that the excitement had passed, he was able to feel the sting on his back, as well as the mild, sticky wetness surrounding it, saturating his shirt and making it cling to his skin. Meanwhile, Sukuna was bruised, color already blooming on his face where Yuji had gotten him good. At least he hadn't gone for his nose or mouth proper. The altercation would have been far more violent of the human had gone that far.
"I see you came back with something, Megumi.... care to enlighten us?" He asked, looking boredly at the other teen once he returned with the kit, certain he'd see Yuji get examined and taken care of first. After all, being a curse meant he could easily fix himself up if he so chose to. Right now, he was getting his emotions back into order, and as a result, the process was slower than he'd like at the moment. Beats being bruised for as long as his vessel would be, though.

Megumi returned with the first aid kit in hand, having listened to the twins conversation of what damage they did to each other, he eyed Sukuna quickly, noting the discoloration on his face where Yuji no doubt landed a good punch. A swift trip to the kitchenette and he was back in the common space with an ice pack. He placed the ice pack on Sukuna’s growing bruise whilst grabbing one of the curses’ hands and placing it in position to hold the ice pack. “If you’re not going to heal yourself, at least hold this to reduce swelling.”
Megumi approached Yuji with a disappointed sigh. “Why do you entertain him?” He asked while crouching next to him for a better look. He seemed okay from the front—his face was clean, he noted as he lifted Yuji’s head by his jaw and turned it side to side for a better look at his neck, and his shirt wasn’t torn. ‘Where did he scratch you?’ he thought before moving behind Yuji. The blood soaked shirt that greeted him, as he made his way behind Yuji, was alarming. Instructing Yuji to raise his arms, Megumi gently lifted his shirt off, afraid to aggravate the wound more, and tossed it to the side—he would deal with the clean up later. He shook his head at the sight of several large cuts slashed across Yuji’s back, dripping blood.
“This is going to sting, hold still.” Megumi warned as he splashed peroxide on a cloth and began to dab the wound to clean the cuts and wash away the drying blood. Once the cuts were cleaned he assessed that although they are deep and will likely scar, Yuji wasn’t in need of further medical attention. He finished by wrapping Yuji’s torso in a bandage before standing.
“If you must know,” Megumi turned his attention to Sukuna, whom was still docile in the heel position, his question not forgotten, “I bought paint in an attempt to cover the scratch marks you decided would look nice on the walls, as well as some replacement—plastic—items that you managed to break. Oh and—“ Megumi spoke all the while moving towards the entrance where he left the bags, stopping his speech only when he arrived. Reaching in to one of the bags he pulled out their favorite snacks. “I thought you guys deserved a treat but it seems like you don’t.” He said, holding the snacks up like a display before putting them back in the bag and grabbing the remaining items to put away.

Sukuna only let out an unamused, noncommittal huff at Megumi's comment about not taking care of himself, and rolled his eyes. Like hell was he going to admit he's too pissed off to heal himself properly at the moment. But, all things considered,
he was a bit surprised Megumi treated him first, even if it was quickand easy. "Who's saying I'm not healing myself? He cracked my cheekbone and temple." He gruffed, though it was a lie.
Yuji pouted at Megumi's chastising, and didn't know what to say. Really, he did start the fight with that careless jab, but Sukuna had gotten in his face and Yuji wasn't going to stand for it. He refused to let the curse think he had power over him. That would spell trouble, even with the precautions in place. Yuji was pulled from his thoughts as Megumi turned his head to look him over, look for cuts there and along his neck, and couldn't help the faint pink flushing his cheeks. He'll blame it on embarrassment-- yeah, that's it. He moved as Megumi guided him to, and hissed only faintly as the shirt peeled off of his back, and soon shuddered as cool air hit the wet wounds.
Though, he flinched and sat stiffly as the ravenette began to clean his wounds proper, and did his best not to curse at the stinging pain. He always hated peroxide, how it bubbled and felt cold on any cut or scrape that needed cleaning. At least it wasn't alcohol-- that somehow hurt far worse, and longer, too. Once he was bandaged, the pinkette let out a long-awaited sigh of relief, glad it was over with. However, that all fell through when Megumi let both pinkettes know that they were being denied their favorite snacks as punishment, before letting out a drawn whine as he laid out on his stomach upon the floor Sukuna scoffed irritably, feeling as if the shikigami user was insulting him. "Please, while my vessel may be a child, I am not. This petty punishment for children won't work." Alas, Sukuna was lying, of course. Having a physical form outside of the teenager meant he actually needed to eat, and modern foods were unfairly interesting and pleasant. It didn't make him any more willing to admit the punishment was working, however.

Megumi made his way to the kitchenette, “I know in your current state you need to eat, Sukuna, and you seem to like our food quite a lot. But be a brat about it if you’d like,” he spoke to the curse while putting away the items he acquired at the store. When he was done he grabbed the paint can, scanning the room for additional damage to the walls, he noticed Yuji laid out on the floor pouting. He was… cute and although Megumi hated denying Yuji, he quite enjoyed seeing him act like a child. In fact, he kind of wanted to spoil the pinkette and give him anything he wanted….but according to the Psychology book he picked up from the library he cannot reward bad behavior. Not that Megumi would admit these thoughts anyway; he barely let them linger in his mind for longer than a minute. Though, he could admit to himself that he did like being around Yuji. They were opposites but he felt that Yuji’s carefree attitude was a welcome nuance to his life. And he wasn’t bad to look at… this became a little complicated for the ravenette when Sukuna arrived looking exactly like Yuji. Megumi shook his head in an attempt to rid himself of these thoughts.
He started to paint some of the claw marks on the wall near Sukuna, he knew the heel command would wear off soon and he didn’t want to be too far from the curse just in case his attitude escalated upon the wear off as it usually did. Yuji’s back was scratched up pretty bad, he didn’t want him getting hurt again.
“What are we going to do with him today?” His question aimed at Yuji, speaking as if Sukuna wasn’t heeled right next to him.

Sukuna let out a low growl at Megumi's words, wanting to bite back something foul, but held his tongue for the time being. Who knows how long the ravenette would deny him of delicious food? He hated the thought of 'playing nice' just to be rewarded like a child would. Oh well, he'll make an attempt at good behavior, at least. Yuji hadn't a clue what Megumi was thinking about as he laid there, pouting like a pup in time out. Though, to be fair, if anyone asked him if he had anyone in mind romantically, he'd be unable to give an answer at the moment. He had a type as far as women went, though, he wasn't limited to them, either. He was a teenager-- he's genuinely curious about relationships, though he hardly has any luck with girls. He's.... a sweet guy, just not entirely bright. After all, he ate a petrified finger just so he could punch ghosts, of all things.
When asked what the plan for today was, the vessel hummed softly, unsure. "A walk would probably be a good idea-- good exercise. Maybe we can see about getting a bit of training in?" He proposed, glancing over as Megumi began painting the wall. "Do you want a hand with that? I doubt it'll be done too fast otherwise." He offered, though he really should rest, considering. At least he was willing to offer help. Sukuna laid on his side, head propped on a clawed hand bearing his cold pack as the human began painting the wall nearest to him. He rolled his eyes, knowing exactly why the shikigami user was starting there, almost in the middle of the damage to the wall. Megumi wanted to make sure there was space between him and the pinkette, so Yuji could have a chance to recover. Luckily for them both, the curse was no longer in a foul mood, and as such no longer craved violence. For now. "You two both realize I'm not a dog, correct?"

He denied Yuji’s offer to help with a “You need to rest; this doesn’t need to be finished today.” As he considered the pinkette’s ideas for today. Training and a walk would be nice, they all need to keep up with physical fitness but Megumi was concerned about Yuji’s wounds given how fresh the scratches were he did not want to see the boy get an infection. “Maybe not. Your back needs to heal.” He stated, shaking his head slightly as he continued to paint. He flirted with the idea of proposing something indoors when Sukuna piped up reminding the teenagers that he isn’t a dog which was quite entertaining to Megumi given the nice collar around his neck accompanied by the commands.
Sukuna seemed to be docile for now, laid out on the floor as he was it appeared the heel command wore off and he wasn’t attacking anyone, so Megumi considered allowing the curse a bit of freedom. Positive reinforcement if you will. “What would you like to do today, Sukuna?” He offered.

Yuji let out a groan over being told he couldn't help, nor that they would be able to even take a walk at the moment because of his back. He was fine, he just couldn't move in certain ways is all!! But, knowing Megumi, he would still deny Yuji if he tried to reason out how it would be fine to just take a walk at least. However, when he heard the ravenette ask the curse what he wanted to do, he felt a bit nervous. Sukuna quirked a brow at the question posed to him, and hummed lowly as he thought on it. "If we take the brat into account, we can't do anything physical for a while...." His brows furrowed, before he let out a bored sigh, "The only option I know would make the brat happy while keeping him at rest would be to watch a movie or something." He waved his free hand in a noncommittal fashion, but it showed that he actually paid attention to what Yuji seemed to like. "Otherwise, playing a game would be interesting." Did he mean video, or board? That's a mystery.
"I hate to admit it, but Sukuna does have a few good ideas, sometimes." Yuji mumbled, before grunting as he carefully pushed himself off of the floor, cautious of his back. "What do you think? What sounds better?" He asked, knowing it'd be a group activity, regardless of what they did. At least if they keep the curse entertained, he won't cause any mayhem, right? That's the thought, at least. It was hard to get a full read on Sukuna, know what the man was thinking when he wasn't causing some form of damage. The curse was shocked to have Yuji actually agree with his proposals, though they both knew Megumi had the final say, seeing as he was the more serious handler out of the two humans. But, to be fair, Sukuna's ideas were tame in nature-- easy entertainment. One may wonder what he had in mind for the genre, though. They'll find out soon, surely.

With a blank expression Megumi continued his task, hearing Yuji groan almost brought a small smirk to his face, however. He could practically hear Yuji fighting the urge to argue this point. He knew what Yuji would say: ‘I’m fine! My back barely hurts! We can go for a walk at least…’ but Megumi was not willing to risk it: plain and simple.
He was a little surprised when Sukuna offered an activity that would entertain Yuji, he honestly wasn’t even expecting a clear answer from the curse so this was a pleasant surprise. He considered the game idea.. what would they even play? A board game? Video game? Yuji really did like playing Monopoly, and Sukuna often failed at feigning disinterest when the two teenagers played Call of Duty…In the end he decided against it. Both of those options could lead to a fight between the highly competitive twins and he was in no mood to break up another fight today. A movie sounded safe.
“Let’s watch a movie. Can you two agree on something?” He closed the paint can, placing it on the counter, laying the brush neatly on top. He went to the kitchenette to grab the snacks he had tried to use as reinforcement earlier, deciding to just give it to them to have during the movie. You can’t watch a movie without snacks, after all. He sat in the middle of the couch, placing the snacks on the coffee table in front of him, he leaned back getting comfortable by crossing one leg over the other. He wasn’t sure where the others would choose to sit but he wanted to ensure he’d be between them if they both wanted the couch.
