"I'm the pack's alpha. It's my job to make sure we're all safe." The trouble was, it really was a freak accident. He had been diligent in every area he could, saving up for a top-notch navigation system, regular training for all their pack members to make sure they were all fit and monitoring their diets to make sure they were in peak condition, regular maintenance for the ship so it was in top condition too, breaks overlapping Mina's pregnancy and subsequent egg rearing so that their stress levels didn't get too high and their instincts were seen to, and top of the line safety features for the ship which was probably the only reason any of them had survived at all. In spite of his tremendous efforts, the odds in their favor were beaten and he couldn't help stressing and trying to think of what he could have done to prevent this tragedy when he hadn't failed them to start with. With a quiet, agitated growl, he shrugged the hand on his shoulder off to go about his business. Regardless of fault, he had to somehow pick of the pieces.
The blond paused, looking back at the human for a moment. "Are scavengers on this planet capable of completely consuming a corpse in seconds?" Judging by the tension in his body, it was a serious question, the lithe creature even glancing around to see if he could spot anything that might try to get at their fallen or even try to pick one of them off while they're injured. This green hair alien looked so soft though... Almost helpless. Was this world really that dangerous? Was he deceptively strong? While he didn't have the right idea in mind, he definitely had one of those points correct.
While the petting was soothing and welcome, it was the words spoken to him that had the large red and black creature lifting his great head to look at the little human. He listened, transfixed as tears streamed down his cheeks. While Izuku had so far failed to soothe the hurts of the prickly alpha, he'd said exactly what Eijirou needed to hear. His feelings of pain and helplessness were acknowledged while also giving him hope and reason to move forward with his life. This didn't mean that his pain and sorrow were magically gone, but it helped greatly in making it manageable and not all-consuming. "You're right... She would want that." He agreed, once again nuzzling his chest, but this time a one of the four thick tendrils that extended off his back reached down to gently loop around the other's slim waist so that he could hug him without letting go of his childhood friend.
Then voices called out and the tension spiked again. While Izuku had quickly earned at least some of their trust, new people were a different matter and they now found themselves outnumbered. Tetsutetsu paused in his work to stare at the strangers while Kirishima rumbled softly in warning as he stood up. As he did so, the tentacle around the greenette's waist coiled a little tighter while a second came in to loop around his chest. Thankfully neither were holding on tight enough to hurt, but they certainly made easy work of lifting him right off the ground like he weighed nothing. It was actually kind of sweet that he was getting protective of him already, even if it was needless.
Bakugou once again fell into his role, wings spreading as he crouched down. A single great leap got him up into the air, wings giving a single flap only for the action to be aborted halfway with a surprisingly shrill yelp. He landed on all fours, one wing held naturally up while the other hung lower and now sported an unnatural bend halfway up the humerus. A snarl of frustration left him as he glared at his wing like it had betrayed him before leveling that glare on the newcomers.
It took only a second for the two betas to be on the move, both rushing over to their injured alpha's side, each settling at his sides protectively. This meant that Midoriya was coming along for the ride as Eijirou made no move to set him down. While the three tried to figure out if they were still safe considering Izuku seemed to trust these people, Bakugou lifted his uninjured wing and brought it over to drape over Eiji's shoulder, ironically resting the delicate limb right near Midoriya, certainly close enough to easily touch it. Katsuki couldn't let anything else happen to his pack... He'd wasn't sure he could forgive himself as it was if what remained of his pack were to get hurt because he wasn't vigilant enough... No, he'd never be able to forgive himself for sure. Still... Izuku had been nothing but helpful so far and he had called these people, right? They should be safe, but he couldn't help worry, hyper-aware that the three of them were all there was now. No help would be coming if they needed it, even if they could somehow get the com to work inside their still ablaze ship.

Re: Earth men are easy.
Izuku wasn't bothered when the other shrugged his comforting touch off, knowing it took time for survivor guilt to fade just enough to try to provide logic and comfort. The human will try again, when the wounds aren't so fresh. Maybe helping the others first will show the alpha that not all is lost, that there was still hope for a brighter future. However, when the creature asked if there were ravenous scavengers able to erase someone in seconds, he shook his head. "Not seconds, and even minutes, not here. We have crows, ravens, foxes and boars, and they tend to pick their meals clean if allowed. Though, it also depends on your body's makeup-- however, I guess you lucked out, landing here, rather than in the amazon where blood will attract piranha if you're in the rivers, meanwhile if you landed in a certain island area, coconut crabs can and will eat everything, even bone, if a body is static for too long, and if there's a swarm...." he shuddered to think of it, recalling a theory he had heard about Amelia Earhart.
"At least you landed in a more calm and secluded area. If it were in a town, let alone a city, the government would try to get involved immediately." He frowned deeply at that, before shaking his head. "I'm sure Principal Nezu will do everything he can to keep you all safe, as he knows what it's like to be poked and prodded."
When Izuku saw the tension in the other's body, he gave a gentler smile. "All the commotion from the crash will keep most animals away-- well, spare for boats, but they're easily seen and heard if they do decide to make themselves known. Very aggressive, and most have tusks that can be risky, though I know how to handle them without hurting them. Mostly." He assured, lifting a hand to show a small, green-black tendril that wiggled faintly, before fading as quickly as it appeared.
Izuku smiled, happy to have helped the big sweetheart on the path to recovery, and felt his cheeks warm faintly as a tendril wrapped around him like a hug. "You're such a sweetheart.... I know you'll do amazing, Kirishima. Sometimes I wish there were more people like you." He praised with a gentle tone, only to yelp as he was picked up effortlessly when Eijiro and the others grew defensive at his friend's arrival.
Izuku winced as he saw and heard Katsuki expose how badly he'd been injured, and the other humans shared the same concern, though with differing levels of expression. Shoto was mostly in his eyes and relaxed stance, Mirio looking ready to step in, but holding himself back as his face read clearly, and Uraraka held a hand over her mouth in shock, her posture hesitant but harmless. "Th-theyre my friends, its okay!! I trained with Shoto, the red and white man, and Uraraka, the girl, while while Mirio was a third year when I was a first, and we rescued a little girl together from a crime syndicate!! Please, its okay!!" He pleaded, petting Eijiro soothingly, hoping he'd be set down.
Shoto looked between them all, before slowly raising his arms in a show of peace. "Would I be allowed to stop the fires with my ice? Is there anything terribly temperature sensitive in the craft?" He asked calmly, Mirio soon taking a careful step forward. "If anything is lodged where it shouldn't be, Midoriya and I can pry it open and pull what you need out once the fire's out. Then Uraraka can help float your things and you along with her Zero Gravity to the others on the way, so you all can focus on recovery." Uraraka nodded, before carefully walking to a chunk of debris, touching it, floating the too large chunk of metal, only to push it to the side with ease, before putting her hands together, dropping the metal chunk. "Like that! Is it alright of we help you all like this? It would be the easiest, safest way for everyone involved!" She chimed in, before looking to Izuku with worry. "That one's head isn't too hard, right?" She asked, before seeing the poor woman in his arms.
The others soon took notice as well, and while this was new for Izuku's classmates, Mirio had seen bodies, time and again during his work as a pro. "I know the pain is still fresh, but I ask this with the utmost respect for you, and your late companion: Do you need any help with her remains, be it burial, cremation, or perhaps other means within your culture? We don't bury our dead, due to our population density, but we cremate those lost and honor them in our homes, as well as family graves, if available." He spoke gently, hoping he wasn't putting salt in any of the survivors' wounds.

Re: Earth men are easy.
When it was clarified that the scavengers of this planet weren't that efficient, Katsuki relaxed again. That was significantly less frightening and allowed him to focus on what needed to be done, "You talk too much..." He grumbled, half distracted with tending to his partners as well as what was being salvaged from their small ship, at least till they had been joined by three more of the greenette's species. While they call more or less shared the same pale pink skin, they were pretty varied in hair color and body structure. A small part of his mind wondered how these differences might play in their social structures, but he was far more concerned with the safety of the two remaining members of his pack and likely the only other members of his species he would ever see again.
The greenette assured them that these new people were friends and while they were clearly still nervous, the situation seemed to be calming down from their initial stress spike. Amusingly, even as Kirishima settled a little, he seemed to have grown quickly attached to the little hero that had offered such kind words and touch, continuing to hold him for the time being. Looks like Izuku wasn't going anywhere for a bit.
"It's a spaceship. Unless your ice is colder than the Centaurus Bipolar Nebula, it should be fine..." Snarked the blond and though his posture had relaxed some, he was clearly still on edge. Firey red eyes snapped from Shouto to Mirio as the other spoke then finally to Uraraka as they demonstrated their powers. So one could produce ice, one was strong, and one could make things float somehow. Well, if nothing else, this told him there was a large variety of powers here, similar to those back home. Another moment of hesitation and he was lightly patting Eijiou's shoulders with a flap of his undamaged wing. "Put him down."
The order was met with a whine, even as he did as he was told, the tentacles loosening and lowering the greenette to the ground to set him gently on his feet. When the limp body of his mate and childhood friend was brought up, Eijirou couldn't help getting defensive, holding her that much closer with a quiet rumble. He even took a couple of steps back slip out from under his alpha's wing to instead stand behind both his pack mates.
"We have places we call, uh..." The solver and teal beta paused as he tried to think of good words for what he was trying to say.
"Skerry Ossein." Cut in the blond as he rested his forehead against his red beta's, trying to calm him back down. They would have to get the body away from him eventually, but it didn't feel right to part them so soon.
"Right... Skerry Ossein. Why are you so good at this language, we just got it! Anyway... It's a reef formed by the bones of our dead. The local animals gain sustenance and shelter. This final act of giving helps the soul find peace and either find its way to the, er..." He paused for a moment figuring it out on his own before Katsuki could help him again, "...Radiant Reef, if they're ready, or return to this existence to live a new life."

Re: Earth men are easy.
Izuku pouted faintly when told he spoke too much, but it was a hard habit to break-- a stress response, really. But, he stayed quiet from his perch upon Eijiro's head as the other aliens continued to work as best they could. And, as the human's friends began to show off their skills, Izuku was glad the survivors were calming down, even if only slightly. Shoto gave the leader a quizzical look at his snarky tone, before shrugged faintly. "It's always best to ask, especially if any exposed wiring or components have the possibility of being temperature sensitive, on either side of the scale." With that, he rested his right hand upon the ship, and in moments, the metal was coated in an inch-thick ice, and ceasing the flames before placing his left upon it next, to melt the ice he had produced. "There, bow it should be safer to go in and out. Mirio?" The tall blonde nodded, before stepping inside the wreckage alongside Tetsutetsu, and began helping the other move things out into the open.
Izuku gently patted Eijiro's head as he was set down, offering him a gentle smile at the other's faint distress in letting him go. Though, seeing the big, sweet creature grow defensive as the topic of their late companion was brought up, he offered a sympathetic look, knowing it was still a rather sore topic for them all. Though, when the silver alien began to explain their burial custom to the humans, Izuku nodded softly, a sad smile on his face. "We have a few reefs around our little country, hopefully we have one you feel is best for Mina." Izuku replied, before offering a gentle pat upon Tetsutetsu's shoulder.
"Is everything that we can bring back all ready to be sent along?" Uraraka soon asked, pulling out what looked like a thin but sturdy braided wire cord from her utility pouch. "With all of your injuries, we should really get going-- best to clean youall up and patch you up as soon as possible!" She gave a shy smile, hoping to not upset the leader by trying to get things going for them all.

Re: Earth men are easy.
"Maybe on a cheaper ship..." Grumbled the blond, looking back at the wreckage. Not that it mattered how much money he'd poured into their little home away from home. There wasn't much chance of salvaging much anything from the currently flaming wreck. He watched on, seemingly more curious than startled as ice rushed at and coated the ship, effectively smothering the fire. Once it was out, he gave Tetsu a nod which got the large beta going, entering the ship with the blond man to get the last of their things outside. Bakugou considered the viability of repurposing their ship as their new home. As much as the idea appealed to him, he realized it was more sentimentality than sense making him feel that way. The ship had everything they needed normally, even if they had no privacy, but it was in such poor condition that it seemed hardly worth it to try to live in such a cramped space for its own sake.
While Tetsutetsu was cautious around Mirio as they worked, he slowly started to relax as nothing negative came of it. He assisted by pointing out what was still in good enough condition to move out, leaving behind what was too damaged to bother with. He checked their comm to see if by any chance a signal could be sent, but all he got was static. He wasn't sure if this was something they could fix, not without the right parts... With how distressed they all were though, himself included, he doubted they would have the mental fortitude for such work. "You look a little different than the others... Does your race have subspecies like mine does?" By the way he looked at the cheerful blond, it wasn't hard to tell he was peering at his unusual eyes, though he was also thinking on Shouto's unusual split hair and eye colors.
The large red and black alien leaned into the kind hand giving him comfort before looking down at his limp mate. "Katsuki...? Do you think she'll be lonely...?" He turned his many sad eyes to his alpha, whining softly at the thought alone.
Thankfully, as much as the blond was hurting with him, he still had the strength to soothe his worries. As the pack alpha, it was instinctive and something he prided himself in. "We'll find a place with lots of colorful fish to keep her company. She'd like that." Thankfully that seemed like it was enough as the other nodded and settled back into just holding her slowly cooling body close. Shockingly, when Ochako took charge a bit and urged them along, Katsuki merely watched her till she was done. Finding that he didn't disagree with anything she was saying, he started to limp over, the other two falling into pace with him. Shockingly, despite being the most hurt of the three, neither of them attempted to help him. This wasn't to say they wouldn't, but they simply knew him well enough not to offer him any. It he wanted help, he would ask them for it and they would eagerly provide it.
"Where will we go once we are healed. Is there anywhere we can cool Ashido's body till we're ready to deliver it to the reef?" He asked his questions carefully, looking to the heroes, in turn, to see which might have an answer to him. He was more than willing to kill to keep his companions safe so he wanted to know exactly what they were being led into. He already felt responsible for the crash, he wasn't willing to risk the safety of his remaining companions.

Re: Earth men are easy.
Shoto gave an unimpressed but mostly blank look before shrugging faintly at the blonde's comment, setting to work. "It's best to check regardless-- you're not from here, so who knows what is sensitive and what is not on the craft. After all, it could be a difference like putting liquor and beer in a freezer-- liquor remains a liquid, while beer will expand and explode as it freezes." He stated simply, hoping to get the point across. When his part of that task was finished, he worked on helping Uraraka bind the salvageable items securely in her cording, glad to be focused on the task.
Mirio hummed faintly as he worked, keeping his characteristic smile on his face, in the hopes that it would be contagious. Though, when the silver and teal alien spoke to him, he blinked, before humming thoughtfully. "Not.... exactly? All of us on Earth are humans, and before quirks were a thing, we came in different skin tones, heights, widths, hair types and so on. But, after quirks, it became a bit more complicated. There are many of us who look 'different from what humans used to be, ranging from me and my eyes, to others having 'mutant' type quirks where their body barely resembles the original human. There are many that have animal based quirks, like Midoriya's classmates Asui and Tokoyami, or non-human forms like Wash Hero, and Manga. The bottom line is, though, looking at genetics, were all still human, it's just a matter of if you have the quirk genes or not. Even two parents with quirks can have a quirkless child, or two presumably quirkless parents could have a child with a quirk. It's odd, sometimes scary, but were all human deep down." Mirio grinned, hoping that it all made sense to his extraterrestrial friend.
Izuku watched as Katsuki reassured Eijiro about making sure Mina had the best burial place, and felt a bittersweet warmth in his chest. The alpha certainly fulfilled his role well, it seemed, and brought the greenette some peace, despite the tragic situation. He then watched on as Katsuki approached the heroes and Izuku after everything was ready to go, and listened to the blonde's questions. "Where you'll go his a hard question to answer-- my first instinct is to be housed with one of us in a larger home-- we don't want you to be separated and we unfortunately love modestly, spare for Todoroki. Except he lives with his family and unfortunately his father isn't the best, even if he's improved over the years." Izuku began, being as honest as he could be. "As for Mina, I'm sure Todoroki can ice her gently until we can take her to a proper morgue for cold storage, and from there we can get into talks with Seal and Gang Orca to see about having them and their side kicks monitor where you choose to lay her to rest, to ensure she decomposes properly without any unwanted fussing or worse." Izuku added, looking to the others who nodded confidently. "Are there any more questions you may have before we get you medical attention, and begin preparing for Mina's last journey? Any requests that we can try to have honored?"

Re: Earth men are easy.
The response he got from the two-toned young man got a quiet growl out of him. "The expansion properties of liquids wouldn't apply to solids and the fucking ship is in pieces! What are you afraid of? Breaking it more? Ice doesn't cause explosions unless there's an extreme temperature switch and a space ship of any kind would have to be resistant to extreme cold because if the hull is damaged everything in that area would be exposed to the extreme cold of space till you could repair the damage. This isn't unique to technology from other worlds, any ship going to space would need failsafes like this." Oof. Someone is defensive... The incredible amount of stress he was in probably wasn't helping him either.
The large grey creature listened as they worked, nodding his great head slightly. "I think I understand. My race has inherited powers too." His skin rang out for a moment as it shown like metal before melting back to the same grey as before. We also have three... I'm not sure subspecies is the right word, thinking on it... Variations? I dunno... There's biological differences anyway and there are three types. Kirishima and I are betas, Bakugou is our alpha, and Ashido is our... W... Was. Was our omega..." He hesitated then before quietly speaking. "I... don't want to keep talking about this... Bakugou is probably the better one to ask anyway. Sorry if I was rude with my question." Steel grey eyes focused on his work, trying not to think too hard on his situation.
When the winged man got a response for where they would be taken, he didn't particularly like the answer that they got. It essentially boiled down to 'I don't know' and as he was responsible for his already injured pack. Crash landing on an alien planet where they had no legal rights and also no way back off world was not ideal. Though these people hadn't proved to be bad, the last thing he wanted was to risk his packmates end up in a lab for study or some such... Soon enough he was turning his many eyed glare towards Todoroki, not liking the idea of him handling his mate's body, but also not seeing an alternative for the moment. "No..." muttered the alpha, turning his attention towards Eijirou.
"It is time to let her go... They will help us keep her safe to we can lay her in the reef," he urged though he couldn't say he was surprised when his best friend held her closer rather than loosening his grip.
"Y mel'p culp pe... Y culp pe xiiq dih cypd gi... Cdup yj pdia zyi? Cdup yj pdia puxi dih jheg ob?!" Demanded the red beta, looking back and and forth between his alpha and, the humans.
"Pdil ci cyzz dolp itiha eli ej pdig mecl ulm guxi pdig hifhip itih dutylf whebbim qupdb cypd ob. Ci cyzz phobp pdig jeh lec... Zua dih mecl lec, Ei... Y'zz guxi bohi pdia mel'p dohp dih." Insisted their leader, closing the distance between them to rest forehead to forehead with the larger. Slowly he calmed his packmate and finally coaxed him into laying the body down and stepping back. This didn't change the fact that all three watched Shouto with noticable paranoia.

Re: Earth men are easy.
Shoto put his hands up in surrender, blinking. "It appears I was misunderstood, but I'll explain when things aren't as dire...." He replied simply, glancing the alien over. "I did not mean to upset you further, I apologize." Even as a young adult, the youngest Todoroki still struggled with proper communication.... At least the poor guy was trying. Still, he wished there was a way to soothe the alpha.
Mirio's eyes seemed to widen as he saw the chromed steel sheen appear on the ithers skin, clearly impressed. Though, as the other spoke on 'variations', he hummed before softly hammering his fist in his palm, "That to me sounds like genders!! Most humans are on a female or male binary, but there are more genders than that!! For example, our green friend Midoriya is Genderfluid-- meaning his pronouns can change based on of he feels masculine, feminine, both or neither! As for sexes, again, it's mostly a binary between yonic and phallic, but there are a rare few that have both, though one sex is more likely to perform for its purpose than the other, or, sadly, sometimes neither are viable for reproduction." Seems Midoriya isn't the only one that talks a lot. Though, at the wish to have a topic change, the blonde hummed faintly. "Would you like to discuss something different as we work, or would you prefer comforting silence?"
Izuku watched as the displeasure on the others face was plain to see in response to his answer, but he was glad the other wasn't outright refusing anything, so far. After all, they weren't prepared for aliens crash-landing on their planet-- honestly, if they were, that would be far more suspicious, wouldn't it? But, at least they wanted to be hospitable, as best as they could be. The group of humans watched as Katsuki and Eijiro talked back and forth in their home tongues, and waited patiently to see what would come next, see if Eijiro and the others were willing to take their offer.
When they all looked at him, the bicolored young man respectfully came forward, and crouched at Mina's side, his stoic expression softening. With a soft breath, he placed his right hand gently upon Mina's forehead, as if he were checking for a fever. In moments, her already pale skin took on an icy pallor, and a faint layer of fuzzy looking frost coated her whole body, though the more wet areas took on a more solidly icy sheen. Once he was done, he bowed his head, then backed away, as respectful as he was before. "She should be frozen all the way through, and won't be thawed between here and a proper morgue." He stated quietly, before looking at the trio. Uraraka then stepped forward with a sad smile, her hands held out gently. "If you'll allow me, may I float you all so we can travel more quickly with minimal additional harm to you?" She asked, the small train of salvaged goods floating together and tethered to Mirio already. "If you would rather walk, though, I won't force you. I only want to make sure your wounds aren't worsened, or we are closer to proper care should there be more damage than we believed, once the adrenaline fades." She's no stranger to the effects of adrenaline-- after many encounters with Toga, she's learned to get medical assistance rather than simply assume her cuts were just shallow, like the vampiric woman was playing with her food.
