Forget-Me-Not [Hanahaki TomuraxOchaco]

Post by MTheQueen »

Running like this helped her calm her mind. It always had. The chill of the night air brushing against her warm skin, flowing through her nose and throat as she took deep even breaths. Any high schooler was constantly under a lot of stress, Ochaco Uraraka was no exception to that rule. They all had different ways of coping with it. Most of them, the brunette couldn’t afford. Well, there was a chance she could but her parents were already stretching so many different ends to try and make them meet with her normal school costs, she didn’t feel right asking for anything more than she already had.

And she had plenty! She had a warm home to go home to at night, a room to call her own, a place to study and good grades to boot. Her pink sneakers, though scuffed and old, still held together well on her feet as they padded against the pavement. Her loafers at school were still in great condition thanks to her being able to keep good care of them. Her clothes fit right and any holes she knew how to patch up so they showed, which honestly she rarely had to do! Her parents were amazing and loving and she had a tight knit group of friends as well!

Ochaco was content with her life, extremely so. She just simply had no idea what was waiting around the corner for her in the metaphorical sense. In the literal sense, just around this corner was a small 24/7 convenience store, one she was grateful for at the moment as it hard started to rain. No sooner than when she ducked under the awning did it start to absolutely pour. Ochaco moved from foot to foot, letting out a heavy breath. She hadn’t brought her umbrella or her pocket money! Just her phone and her wallet with her ID in it.

She didn’t really want to run through the rain. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and she didn’t want to end up getting sick! She had a test coming up soon that she couldn’t miss and she’d only worn a black tank top and a pink pair of shorts to go running in. She bit at her lip, finally stopping her movements as she tried to work out a solution. She brought one arm across her midsection, her other elbow coming to rest against it as she rested her cheek in her hand. ’C’mon… think, Uraraka, think.’
