Who Said All Bunnies Were Sweet? (Beastars AU Wolf!Kiri x Bunzuku x Bunkugou)

Childhood wasn't awful, but it wasn't always great for a prey animal like Izuku. Not only was he a bunny, but he was smaller than most, and he lacked a natural fiery attitude like his best friend Kacchan. Kacchan was a bunny as well, but he had a natural vibrant personality that allowed for him to navigate things a little easier than shy, timid Izuku--or at least in Izuku's opinion. Although at times Kacchan's aggressions were directed towards the emerald rabbit, he always seemed to keep Kacchan in the highest regard he could, even after they stopped speaking to each other halfway through middle school only to be reunited again as distant friends in high school. Now they were in college, finally! Both having made the cheer team, declared their majors, and seemed to have a good amount of respective friends, their lives seemed to be going smoothly. Not to mention the emerald bunny blossomed from a shy, timid boy to a sweet, outgoing, Izuku and Kacchan weren't exactly close friends, but they weren't enemies and that was perfectly fine for the emerald bunny! He loved Kacchan to the point where just knowing the other was doing well was enough for him. Besides, his relationship with Kacchan was good enough that the blond bunny allowed Izuku to hang out with him on occasion, even if that hanging out consisted of them studying. His unrequited feelings could be pushed down as deep as he needed them to be for Kacchan's sake. Izuku could never let him know lest he threaten their current relationship. That's where Kirishima came in handy. Izuku met the big bad wolf during their first semester of college at a party hosted by one of the football players. The bunny was friendly, cute, and kind, leaving no one to wonder how he easily made friends with anyone that he spoke to, so being invited to parties and other gatherings was nothing new. Izuku and Eijirou had hit it off almost immediately leading to a rather steamy visit to the bathroom that started their ongoing friends with benefits relationship.

At first it was just fucking, which was great since Izuku had the libido of a rabbit, literally, and Eijirou was always willing to please, but it became a bit more complicated for the emerald bunny when he woke up one day curled against Kirishima's side with the realization that he was in love. Again. This time to someone who could possibly feel the same. He tossed the idea of telling Ei-chan how he felt around in his head for weeks just to ultimately decide it wasn't the best idea. Izuku and the red-wolf spent a lot of time together whether that be studying, fucking, or other fun hobbies, which had convinced Izuku that if the other felt something then he would have already said something. Therefore the little bunny had convinced himself that his feelings were yet again unrequited. That was okay, he was used to this, tricking himself into the belief that this was fine and he can be satisfied with what they had. Or so he thought.

With Kirishima being part of the football team that both bunnies cheered for it was inevitable that the lot would mix at some point but it was almost suspicious why the blond bunny and red wolf never met before. Although he wanted to be a selfish little thing and keep the two most important people to him separate, Izuku decided to introduce them the next time he saw a chance in hopes that maybe they could all spend time together. Izuku sat pretty on the red wolf's lap, giggling as they kissed, his fingers gently petting the other's long mane, something that wasn't uncommon for the two to do, when Kacchan walked by. His ears perked up when he caught a glimpse of his long-time love interest, "Kacchan!" he squeaked happily before turning his attention back to the wolf "Ei-chan, I want you to meet someone. I'm sure you've seen him around, he's kind of grumpy and really loud so it's almost impossible to miss him." he giggled, hopping off the wolf, grabbing his hand to lead him towards the other bunny.

"Hi, Kacchan!" He said sweetly, waving his free hand both in greeting and to get his attention.
