Tigerlilies and Paintings in Blood (V!Kiri×Baku)

Post by LovelyBones »

Eijiro remembered the day his dreams were crushed by hero society. The day he was told he'd never make it as a hero with what was just a minor hardening quirk at the time.... But now, in the aftermath of a successful heist, having his fellows haul out the spoils of his efforts, he felt victory run through his veins, knowing well that he was unstoppable, unbreakable, unshakeable. Sure, there were things he longed for, but those were long in the past, unattainable, now. The hero world will understand their mistake as Blood Riot paints the cities red, his skin reminiscent of a dragon's armor, teeth of a Great White, blood red rubies for a fierce gaze, a mane to rival a lion's, and the incredible, undeniable presence of an Alpha.

As usual, though, heroes would come to the crime scene as he makes his way out with his compatriots, and make a sad attempt at stopping them. He has never been brought in, nor has anyone been able to beat their way through his Unbreakable Armor, especially without cutting themselves in the process. It didn't take much to beat them down, leave them in broken heaps and be on his merry way. Really, he expected more out of these 'heroes', had honestly hoped for a challenge, for once. After all, it can get quite boring after a while. So, when he heard the tell-tale explosions in the distance, he couldn't help how his heart raced with anticipation, knowing that there was only one person with a quirk like that.

Bakugo Katsuki, Ground Zero, #5 hero in the current charts. Eijiro had been ready-- the blonde had no real way to sneak up on him, though the speed of the other's movements and hits proper were quite impressive. However, it was a battle of stamina, and he had won out in the end, breaking both gauntlets once the other had been pinned against some rubble. "Man, you actually made me break a sweat.... Shame we can't spar anymore. I might break you next time." He rumbled, smirking at the battered and bruised blonde he had pinned by his one good arm, as well as his claws fingertips aimed near a vital point in the other's abdomen. "Really, I'm sorta sad we can't play anymore.... Can't have you coming after me again." He sneered, looking the hero over one last time before he'd land a killing blow....

Except, he froze, if only for a moment, when he saw an all too familiar clutch of tiger lilies on the other's wrist, the same as he had on his own. On a heartbeat, the redhead threw the blonde at an approaching Ingenium with enough force to knock them both to the ground, before making his escape. Sure, he could have easily killed the hero he had in his clutches with ease, but.... He was Eijiro's soulmate. The one he's destined to grow old with, potentially have young with, if he was an omega. And the villain couldn't bring himself to kill the hero, knowing how their fates were so intertwined. It made his heart ache, knowing that they were star-crossed, left longing for each other, only to end in tragedy one day.

And, so, he did his best to not let it slip that he knew who the blonde's soulmate was, nor did he go as far as he had in their next battles to come, each ending with Katsuki pinned by rubble just enough for Eijiro to escape. He took up painting in his free time before long, and in only a month's time, he had began painting, Katsuki as his muse. It was shocking how the alpha had painted the other so well without references near. But all the same, he was content to paint. It was soothing, and helped the ache in his chest, even if only a little. To others, it may seem like a concerning obsession, but.... Could he be blamed?

Weeks passed, and Eijiro was soon back at his underground club, helping entertain guests and members alike, his tone and posture professional. After all-- there was a lot going on down there, and he had to make sure everything ran smoothly, and that his den was treated with respect and and that everyone was comfortable. It was a lot of work, but it was deeply rewarding for the villainous Alpha.

Ground Zero, #5 hero to date, was strong, agile, and persistent. All great qualities to give him a winning streak for any villain he took on until one day when the blond explosion hero came face to face with the infamous Blood Riot. Katsuki was a bit cocky to a fault and had been extremely excited when he was finally able to go up against the rather large villain, confident that he was going to win as he always had, he charged the villain head on only to be bested. After a rather impressive fight not only was Katsuki's pride in danger but his life was too as he laid pinned in the rubble, one of Blood Riot's clawed hands ready to puncture his abdomen at any moment. The blond accepted his fate with a smirk on his pouty lips, with all his might he kept his eyes open, determined to look the villain right in the eyes as he took his last breath. That was until the exhaustion forced his ruby orbs closed for just a moment only for them to open again in complete shock as he found himself flung through the air. Had he just been tossed like a sack of potatoes? Before Katsuki could even get his bearings he was laid out on the floor on top of Ingenium. "Fuck..." he growled lowly, his body in complete agony as he watched the villain flee. "God damnit..." he muttered.

After his recovery and rather extensive stay in the hospital, Ground Zero found his new goal: Take down Blood Riot. He trained harder than he ever had before but it didn't seem to do much good against the villain's nearly impenetrable armor. Katsuki found himself pinned in rubble screaming curses as the red-headed villain fled more often than he cared to admit, "WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?! EHH? FACE ME, ASSHOLE!!" but alas he never got his wish. He was pissed mainly because after a few of their fights it seemed like the villain was taking it easy on him. In fact, it seemed like Blood Riot was trying to get him immobile so that he could flee. Was Ground Zero not a good enough opponent? Katsuki had seen several videos and heard rumors of the other's cruelty that he was completely offended to not even be considered a threat.

This lead the blond down quite a rabbit hole until he came up with the perfect idea with a little help from an informant. He would infiltrate from within the other's rather exclusive underground club and take him down relying on his wit rather than his strength. With his appearance hidden slightly by a disguise--one that he thought rather impressive--the blond made his way to the address tipped to him. He found himself at the entrance to a rather impressive place, who knew the infamous Blood Riot would conjure up such a classy club. "Tch." the blond muttered as he sauntered through the doors to the person managing the front.

It was entertaining, their game of cat and mouse, though it did pain him to harm his soulmate, even if it was only enough to incapacitate the blonde. If the hero knew, he'd understand, wouldn't he? Eijiro hoped so, after all, he rarely left threats alive if he was able to dispatch them. Fir example, if the hero Deku came to try to stop him, the villain wouldn't allow himself to be caught, fighting tooth and nail. Really, that man's Black Whip would hold him down just long enough to be a problem. But Ground Zero? He was easy to counter, leave alive, even if it pissed the hero off to no end, send the wrong message.

At the club, there were three levels. The second floor, reserved for larger events, the ground floor, the main dance hall and bar, and the basement floor, with appropriate escape routes, was the more exclusive club, reserved for those that needed to... unwind, in their own ways. At the greeting counter, the pretty as pink young woman greeted the blonde warmly, smile bright, and topaz eyes glowing bright. "Hello, there!! May I see your ID? And what are here for today?" She asked, looking the disguised hero up and down. "You seem new.... are you here for an event upstairs? Or just to let loose on the main floor?" She knew the only way to get into the club below was if one knew the weekly code phrase. 'A dragon's hoard will never equate to soft, spun white-gold and fierce, fiery rubies'. She knew that the boss had a thing for the explosive hero lately, but come on. Anyone with eyes and a brain would know right away.
