Another day of the world's largest militaries targeting him for his beloved Pochita, another dollar. Assuming Denji gets paid to clean up after children and their lazy parents, anyways. He gets paid to slay Devils all day, so it's not like being paid to be a janitor would be particularly hard to arrange. Luckily most of his work was done once the building was empty, though there was usually a mess or two that couldn't be neglected during business hours. It was probably less creepy to clean surrounded by families and such, but he hated being looked down on. Ironic, considering he's looked down upon the majority of his respective canon. Oh, well. There's a difference between Makima looking down upon him and other people doing so. Plus, cleaning is kind of embarrassing. Oohoo, look at him sweeping up thousands of little sprinkles like a wittle maid boy!
The lack of robotic janitors didn't really make sense to Denji, but to be fair, not a whole lot about the place in general did. He had no idea how something could be programmed to have near-human capabilities and not have to deal with the flaws of being human-- being injured didn't hurt the animatronics, did it?-- but still be commanded by a lifeform that seemed so inferior. Granted, Devils made contracts and allowed humans to command them as well, but at least in that case they'd straight up devour a human that doesn't hold up their side of the deal. Denji is unaware of any such things happening with the animatronics, but it still unsettled him whenever he was around any of them. There's an uncanniness that comes alongside something that acts and speaks similarly to another human but isn't organic.
The same could be said for a Hybrid like him too, probably. What's stopping him from deciding to massacre the entire building? Other than the threat of being put down like a dog, anyways. Well... more than people think. People used to disgust Denji, nothing more than a bunch of creeps who wanted cheap labor or to kick somebody while they were down. With his fusion with Pochita, however, he's come to understand warmth and kindness. ...Sort of. Even after a life plagued by poverty and sickness, he's still being used by the people around him that so easily gain his trust through feigned kindness. Mostly women, for some reason. All of the men who have attacked him so far have been straightforward and cut to the chase. Something about not being able to teach a kicked dog a new trick.
He has a promise he made to Pochita that he intends to keep, so if he has to clean up piss, so be it. He's been kicked and berated before, he can handle something as simple as changing the toilet paper rolls if it meant he could eat good food and sleep in a warm bed. He'd fish a hundred dirty diapers out of the toilets if it meant he could live comfortably forever. He never said he would be pleased about doing any of that, but at the end of his shift, it was all worth it.
Pushing the cart of cleaning supplies around the building, he looks for anything that might be out of place or messier than it should be. Mopping a few spots, sweeping here and there, returning things to where they belong. He wasn't an expert in cleaning, but he knew when something was out of place or that a puddle in the middle of the floor wasn't supposed to exist. He had also become pretty good at avoiding the map bots at least, though it was more than he'd prefer that he was scared half to death by one of them.
Holding the employee's door to the Daycare open with his foot, he shuffles the cart through the doorway. A lot easier than the first time he had to clean up in there. He, uh... well, the first time he had tried to clean up in the Daycare he had assumed the ballpit was the only way in and had made quite a fool of himself trying to figure out how to get his supplies there with him. That was a lot of overthinking and cringing on his part after that particular shift, to be completely honest. What's being a teenager if the majority of choices made aren't humiliating looking back?
He pulls the broom off of the cart and begins by sweeping up whatever was a bit too hard to be simply picked up. Crumbs, glitter, small bits of arts and crafts, whatever-- as long as he didn't have to bring in any special cleaning supplies or equipment, he didn't really put much thought into what he was sweeping up. As he gets to work, he occasionally glances around and over his shoulder. He's never had to deal with any children left behind, assuming that sort of thing was taken care of far before his shift began. It was, but his assumption that a call to the parents or authorities was made was only half right, especially if they had somehow gotten out of the Daycare and roamed the rest of the Pizzaplex.
"Pochita, you smellin' anybody?" He asks out loud, to which a revving sound rumbling from his chest is returned. Good. Denji might behave more like one, but children weren't the kind of people he was used to being around. Even the scared children he protected by killing Devils didn't sit quite right with him. That's probably something about his own childhood being stripped away from him. Or that most of his thoughts consisted of how much he wanted to touch some titties. He was bisexual, so it wasn't like he didn't ever think of men, but his past of whoring himself out had made him realize that most of the comfort he craved came from women rather than men who only wanted something to fuck. Kind of bleak, really. "Good, 'cause I really dunno how t'deal with kiddos... 'S already freaky enough when there's nobody around, anyways."

Re: Ummm, Cheesed To Meet You? [Denji / Sun & Moon]
While Fazbear Entertainment was known for its 'urban legends', the employees of the company knew them for very different things, mostly for poor working conditions, cut corners, and paying as little as they could legally get away with for each job title. This was somewhat counterbalanced by surprisingly good healthcare benefits and very regular work. Still, when you really needed a job you could arguably do worse. At least the work was consistent...
One of the more worrying features of the Pizzaplex, aside from the less than safe working conditions, was the staff room. It was rather large and had access to the outside. This was a key room, not just because it was the room where you went to take your break or lunch, but also where they were to enter and exit from. This was particularly important for the evening crew. The evening shift started at 4pm and ended at Midnight, but the entire building locked down completely at that time. With the hours of operation setting their closing time to 9pm, it gave staff plenty of time to get the last of the guests out by then. Come midnight though, not even staff should be inside. The staff room was the only room that opened up to the outside after that and you had to be in to not get locked in as the door leading into the Pizzaplex itself *did* lockdown to trap anyone inside for the night.
Then there were the animatronics... Things were different for them. This was their home, regardless of how they felt about it. The STAFF bots were used to a limited extent during the day as they seemed to unnerve the guests come, but they came out at full force after midnight. Then there were the animatronic characters. These worked hardest during operation hours but were locked away in their rooms at 9pm to encourage guests further to leave, only being released again to patrol the Pizzaplex as backup security at midnight. This, however, was only partially true for the Daycare Attendant.
Sun worked diligently during the day and at night when they were to be locked in their rooms, well, nothing really changed for him! The Daycare *was* considered to be their space. For some reason that the staff can't seem to figure out, the Attendant is strangely territorial when it comes to STAFF bots entering their space. While Sun will very insistently shoo them off, Moon was known to outright destroy them. It became more costly to risk the STAFF bots than to simply have one of the few human staff do the job so this is how they decided to approach the issue and exactly why Denji was expected to be here in the first place.
Children were messy little things and while Sun tidied up as best he could, most was allowed to do was organization rather than actual cleaning. This wasn't allowed to do actual cleaning because that was too time-consuming when watching children. Sure he could clean after they were gone, but they found he was too prone to fixating to resist the urge so it was just easier to take all his cleaning supplies away and force him to allow someone else to do it.
This meant one very inevitable thing. "Heeeeeeelloooo..." Denji would inevitably have company when he attempted to clean the daycare. Yellow tipped fingers gripped the edge of the platform above the ball pit, half a sun peering down at him with eerie almost blank eyes. The goofy thing was laying on his stomach to be able to pull that shit. If that weren't enough it seemed the animatronic was feeling lonely if he was trying to get his attention so soon. How annoying... And here he comes.
The spindly animatronic swung his legs up over his head, pulling himself forward only to push off the platform, righting himself midair and landing surprisingly lightly in a crouch upon one of the castle-like ramparts that made up the ball pit wall. At 200lbs, the Daycare Attendant was the lightest of the animatronic characters, well unless you counted the rumors of the little menace in the ventilation system, but that was just a rumor, right? "Sorry about the mess, we did some paper crafts today... You should have seen what the little ones made! They're so creative!"
He stepped down to the ground proper then and literally skipped over, jingling as he went. It looks like Denji was doomed to be shadowed by the overly friendly robot tonight. "How has your night been? Not too bad I hope? I know the company can ask a lot from you guys sometimes..." Says the robot that is expected to take care of up to fifty excited children all by himself...

Re: Ummm, Cheesed To Meet You? [Denji / Sun & Moon]
Worrying about stray children was dismissed by Pochita's sniffer, but he apparently hasn't figured out how to sniff out animatronics. Which, to be fair, it's not like Denji was surrounded by them before every country on the planet decided they wanted the Chainsaw Devil for themselves. The form Pochita took the entire time he and Denji had been apart was technically a weakened one, but it's still insane that so many powerful people want to kill a seventeen year old for his weird malted milk ball-shaped dog. This dude built like a Whopper(TM). It's not like Denji can smell the difference, either, though. So, like, they're equally unprepared in that regard. Honestly, he'd prefer to stay away from the majority of the animatronics, even if they wouldn't pursue him like someone who wasn't meant to be in the building. They're just creepy! His lack of understanding did, in fact, make them capable of sending a chill down his spine.
It's about time that was changed, apparently. He's debating pulling out the handheld vacuum to get particularly tricky to reach debris out from between the creases of the cushioned floor when Sun decides to make his presence known. To be fair, Denji was sort of invading the animatronic's space when he had to clean up around the Daycare, but he still feels like a less dramatic entrance would suffice just fine. That's coming from the guy who immediately got into a fight with his first coworker and claimed that said coworker had been attacked by a 'Testicle Devil'. The guy who refused to use Pochita's power to keep from getting blood all over a stack of porno magazines. So, probably not a valid complaint.
He turns just in time to watch the gymnastic feat of Sun flipping and landing. Admittedly, pretty damn impressive. The closest he's gotten to anything that physically-involved was a toss up between using the chains of his chainsaw limbs to grapple and swing from structures or rolling ass-over-head while being carelessly tossed around by an enemy. His figure and resistance to lasting injuries lent themselves to similar feats, but he doesn't have much time or space for that sort of hobby now that he's limiting his appearance outside of work and home. He'd rather read raunchy manga anyways. "Uh, yeah, hey."
Dammit. He leans down to sweep what he can gather onto the dustpan before standing upright again to empty it into his portable trash can, busying himself to ease the discomfort in the back of his mind. If any of the characters were going to be kind and agreeable to him it would be Sun, of course, but he wouldn't say they were well-acquainted. Not to mention it was slightly embarrassing when he was shown the crafts of people much younger than him that were better than he could do himself, but that's more of a him thing than it was Sun's. Denji barely knew how to write his own name, so even incoherent scribbles that looked vaguely like letters were enough to best him in a penmanship contest.
"Sure are, aren't they." He doesn't sound too sure about that. He's about to begin sweeping again when Sun jingles enthusiastically across the floor, which admittedly was more amusing than it should be. Come hither, fool. Play him a song on your lute! Or an entirely bell rendition of a Christmas song. He glances back at Sun, head tilted back slightly to look the animatronic in the face while both hands grasp the handle of the broom. "Eh, 's been so-so. Someone left a puddle'a piss in th'women's room, but I didn't have t'fight the toilet paper dispensers this time. Can't imagine why I didn't have t'replace it..."
If one is going to piss on the floor, might as well not wipe too. He's way more pissed off by somebody leaving used toilet paper at the scene than he is when it's just whatever excrement left behind. A sense of urgency versus a leisurely approach. His face briefly shows said frustration before he shakes his head and banishes the thought. It's not worth getting worked up over it and complaining. It's this or continuing his usual work and dealing with more Hybrids that want to wrench Pochita from his chest one way or another. "...Anyways. 'S paper th'only thing I'm picking up this time or 's there somethin' else besides the usual, too?"

Re: Ummm, Cheesed To Meet You? [Denji / Sun & Moon]
In Pochita's defense, the animatronic's scent would be everywhere. They were here most of the time and only left for quick patrols every hour after midnight till 6am. What's more, he was coming from where his scent was strongest making it even harder. The biggest giveaway when it came to his location was actually sound. The bells he wore jingled as he moved, particularly as he was programmed to prefer larger, sweeping movements. If that weren't enough, he was also programmed to remain constantly in motion so it was quite easy to hear him coming. Indeed, this was by design, specifically so locating him by sound alone would be easy for those with visual impairments. If that weren't enough, he was clearly neglected by the engineers as his joints and other inner workings clicked and squeaked as he moved.
When his question was answered, he chuckled in an awkward and knowing way, his faceplate turning to face the ball pit. "Ah. I'm familiar with the feeling." He agrees, before turning his face to once again focus on Denji. "At least that isn't particularly difficult to clean up, at least not on tile." The question posed to him in return had him looking around the daycare once again. They hadn't done anything particularly messy today, other than glitter for the paper crafts. "Just the glitter, which you already have a handle on I think. Oh! You have your security pass, right?" A redundant question as he wouldn't have been able to open the door to get in here if he hadn't. "If you could come with me, please!"
With that request, he didn't actually wait for an answer before skipping off again. Now that Denji needed to follow it became clear how fast the animatronic actually moved using such a silly gait. Surely it had a lot to do with the fact that the skinny animatronic was quite tall, DJ Music Man himself the only one that was taller. He lead the way to a door with a key pad on it. "Could you open this for me? It's mostly extra cleaning supplies and an old vacuum, but there's a ball cleaner as well. The ball pit is supposed to be cleaned at least once a day, but... Well, I don't have access and the other janitors are often... Less than helpful." He laughed weakly, hoping that Denji would help him rather than brush him off like much of the other staff did.
