Sweet Bunny and Playful Pup for Bakugou [Pro!Bakugou x Bunny!Izuku x Wolf-pup!Kiri]

Izuku was born the runt to a litter of six bunnies from Sir’s prized greenette doe, Inko. Being the runt Izuku was significantly smaller than the others, but oh, was he beautiful. He inherited his mother’s stunning green eyes and fur but with the curly texture of his father—even the fur on his tail had the curls. Normally runts are undesirable not just due to their size but because they take a little more work given the potential slower development or potential health risks, but Sir was confident that his little Izuku would be adopted, just look at those eyes!

If he would stop hiding that is…

Izuku loved the farm. There was an abundance of food, water, toys, land to roam, comfortable beds, and of course his siblings and other bunnies to play with. It was honestly paradise to him… the only home he had ever known, but like most good things it had to come to an end. As the bunnies grew and matured, humans began coming by. At first Izuku thought nothing of this as humans were the ones to feed and pet them, but slowly he came to realize that these humans were here to take his friends and family away for something called ‘adoption’. Izuku was cautious and anxious naturally, so this realization was no help and he began to hide away when the humans came by. One of the attendants, while trying to coax him out of hiding for a potential adoption, explained to him that the humans wanted to take care of him, play with him, love him, and that he would go to a nice home—but he didn’t want to leave! This was his home!

After a few days of failed attempts at getting Izuku out of hiding for potential adopters, Sir and the attendants left him alone, chalking it up to him not being ready. Izuku was glad to be left alone, he wanted to live at the farm! That is until an ash-blonde man entered the pen two days later….

That morning Izuku was asleep on his side after eating a generous amount of breakfast, when a bang, most likely slamming of the pens door, jolted him awake. Curiosity got the best of the small rabbit, on all fours he snuck around one of the many large obstacles in the pen used for playing or exercise, peeking past the tire swing attached his eyes grew wide at the sight of him. He was tall, built yet slender, with wild blonde hair and piercing red eyes. Suddenly Izuku’s lungs filled with the sweetest scent of something he could not even describe.

He stood up, his floppy ears straight down and his eyes wide he slowly approached the enticing human.

Katsuki was a man that needed companionship and comfort when he would come home from work, as well as an understanding heart when the action took a toll on his heart and body. He was a hero, within the top ten at that, and at first, he had been paired with a wonderful, large wolfdog hybrid, Eijiro. Sweet, big, and appropriately demanding, Katsuki felt he was satisfied, felt whole when he'd come home to a familiar, loving face and embrace. Sure, some days he was knocked over, but his therapy companion only did it put of love and concern.

However, the day eventually came when Eijiro expressed loneliness, and after an evening if discussion, Katsuki began the search for another pet, both for himself, and a companion for his pup. After talking with Fatgum, from whom he had received Eijiro, he had taken the suggestion to talk to Sir Nighteye, see the rabbits he had upon his professional farm. On his weekend off, he had made the drive over, knowing for certain that he wanted a rabbit, preferably a sweet, mild-tempered one to compliment his excitable and loving pup.

As he was brought to the pen, he kept an eye out for possible candidates, and found that, unfortunately, they were all quite adorable, and obviously well-bred and cared for. There were ridiculously plush rabbits with thick fur in a variety of coat colors, as well as sleek ones with a more common array of coats that looked perfectly kept. However, while they were all lovely, none of them seemed to click with him, make him feel certain that he would be the right home for them.

Katsuki had almost given up when he noticed a little greenette trying to creep up on him, and god, he fell in love. Those large, sweet emeralds were fixed upon him, and the blonde's own rubies took in more of the other's details. Super plush, curly green fur, adorable little freckles, super large, flopped ears, and a small but lithe build. Really, if Katsuki had to guess, this may have been a runt, barely tall enough to reach his pecs if he stood upright. The blonde, hoping to make a good impression, crouched low slowly, a gentle smile on his face. "Hey there, little guy.... do you like me?" He asked softly, soothingly as he offered his hand, palm-up, to allow the other to sniff. Sir was watching with interest, honestly surprised the shy bunny was finally coming out for Bakugo, of all people. He knew him from work, after all, but also knew how spoiled Eijiro was, both with care and affection.

How will Izuku react? Will he hide again, or cling to the hopeful blonde?

Izuku maintained his defensive position while creeping closer, watching the blonde crouch slowly to even the playing field between them… he was completely unaware of his surroundings, of the other humans and other rabbits; it was just Izuku and the interesting blonde. Izuku’s nose twitched in curiosity, head tilting a bit, as the blonde extended his hand palm up for Izuku. With one small hop forward he leaned in, his delicate nose just inches from the blondes fingertips, he sniffed. His lungs filled with that sweet scent from before, it really was this human that was so intoxicating. He continued to sniff for a short while, his small nose twitching up and down at incredible speeds—really letting the scent sink in and consume him.

This human smelled extremely sweet but with a hint of heat.. Izuku had no words for the blondes flavor… however, one thing was for sure: this human is safe. Lost in sensation he crawled forward on his knees, closing his big eyes he nuzzled into the mans hand moaning softly. He wanted to lick, to suckle, to nibble at those long fingers but he held himself back—his tail wiggling hastily—instead he settled for laying his head in the palm of the blondes hand, nose twitching ever so lightly as he continued to take in the scent; light, innocent moans escaping his lips. After what felt like several minutes his big green eyes opened again to be greeted by fierce ruby. With freckled cheeks tinted pink, a huge smile dusted the greenettes plump lips as he suddenly leapt forward wrapping his arms around the blonde in an embrace. Nuzzling his chin all over the humans neck in show of marking he spoke enthusiastically, “I like you!”

Katsuki was glad the other had hopped closer, close enough to properly sniff his gentle fingertips, and god, that nose was just too damn cute, wiggling as intensely as it was. Even the quick little breaths he felt on his skin was a delight, though, he was a tad careful. After all, nitroglycerin was an addictive substance-- if the other tried to lick his hands, he'd sadly have to pull away, for the other's well-being. All the same, it was pleasant, knowing the other enjoyed his scent, it seemed.

However, feeling that soft, sweet face nuzzle I to his palm made his heart squeeze, though that moan earned a faint blush on his cheeks, wondering if the other was simply enjoying his scent, or if there was more to it. Sure, it wasn't unheard of for masters and pets to mate, but there was always that lingering concern of power dynamics at play, of humans taking advantage of their hybrid's trust in them. But, Kqtsuki couldn't deny how lovely the sight was, how nice the weight in his palm felt, and when the other closed his eyes, he was seriously tempted to pet the greenette, massage at those large, precious ears.

Alas, the blonde had hesitated too long, only to be knocked onto his ass, and clung onto by the sweet little bunny. However, the final nail in the coffin came when the precious greenette spoke-- Katsuki had been claimed, and Sir was impressed, amused, even. Katsuki was a blushing mess, his hands unsure where to lay on the smaller body that was wrapped around him. But, soon, he couldn't help but hug the other, and try to nuzzle into those soft curls in turn. "You're too damn cute.... ugh, I can't say no...." He groaned softly, befor gently pulling Izuku's face away from his neck, so they could be eye to eye. "Now, look.... before I can adopt you, I wanna be sure you and my pup can play nice, okay? He's a big guy, but he's stupidly sweet and cuddly. He has a lot of energy, and he lives with me because I need him to help me with the stress I get from work. Are you willing to go on a play date with him, maybe sometime this week?" He glanced to sir, who bore a knowing smile on his lips, and nodded to the idea. Katsuki looked back to the bunny, hoping that he would be willing to meet his good boy, and hopefully get along famously.

Izuku was happy in the arms of his soon-to-be master. Sure adoption was frightening: where would he go? What would he eat? Who would play with him? But this human was… different. He was composed, with determined eyes, a voice thick like honey to Izuku’s ears—commanding but soft, and the arms wrapped around the small bunny were so strong; this human would protect Izuku, he just knew it.

He sat eagerly atop his soon-to-be master, almost vibrating in excitement as the man spoke. A dog! He had a dog. Izuku loved dogs, Sir had a few cattle dogs that would look after the farm and make sure everything was running smoothly. Izuku often tried to get the dogs to play with him but most times they were far too busy. “Okay! I love to play.” he bounced excitedly up and down gently on the blondes lap. “You’ll come b-back tomorrow?” the smile faded and he wore a more serious expression, as serious as a bunny’s face could get, and gave Katsuki the largest “puppy dog” eyes—more so in curiosity than in begging as the bunny was unaware of the power his emerald eyes held. Eyes so big you could almost see them sparkle. A desire to be in a home beyond the farm, to be loved and cared for by his master, to be told he was good, to bring joy, to be a pet, surfaced. He had been suppressing this desire for so long, too afraid of the unknown, but now he was ready. “I’ll be a good boy for Master! I-I can play nice with the pup.” he added, hoping to sell himself to the blonde. Now that he was actually interested in being adopted he was afraid of being rejected. Something in him really wanted to go home with the man. He would leave right now if he could.

Oh god, not bouncing in his lap Katsuki was relieved to know Izuku liked dogs, he just hoped he'd like his big dog. However, when Izuku asked if he would come tomorrow, with those big, pleading eyes, the blonde was done for. He really hoped Ei and this bunny would get along. He wanted this bunny, really, really bad, and Sir knew it too. "S-sure, tomorrow works just fine! Just so you know, Eijiro is almost a head taller than me. He's a very big boy, but he'd drown you in puppy kisses before he'd ever hurt you." He remembered the day he found Ei protecting a small feral squirrel, looking distressed as the little thing kept screaming in reasonable panic under his expertly cupped hands. Luckily, Ei had all his shots well before then.

Katsuki gently pet through the other's curls then, hoping to soothe the anxious nerves the other seemed to have. "I have a good feeling you'd be a very good playmate for Eijiro-- I only worry that I may not have enough lap space for the both of you!" He chuckled softly, knowing how cuddly Ei was as is. "After the playdate tomorrow, we'll see what we'll do, okay?" He smoothed over one of the other's ears, resisting the urge to kiss that sweet little forehead. "What's your favorite treat? If I made a garden box, what kind of veggies would you like me to plant?" Fresh garden food? Was Katsuki getting brownie points without trying? "Also, what kind of bed do you like? I know if you're a good boy, you can sleep with me and Eijiro, but if you wanted your own bed, what kind would you like?" The hero wanted to make sure he could have his home prepared for the other if everything went we tomorrow-- that way he can just scoop the bunny up, pay and sign for him, then head straight home afterwards.

Izuku was ecstatic when the man agreed to come back tomorrow, he bounced happily in his lap once more before calming down. A head taller? His potential master was already so tall… this pup must be huge but no matter, he was excited to meet Eijirou nonetheless especially since he was promised puppy kisses. “I like kisses!” he chirped leaning into the man’s hand enjoying the petting, this was Izuku’s favorite form of affection, at least for now.

Izuku listened to the man speak, enjoying the sound of his voice, when he felt the other smooth his ear. He blushed brightly, a brief, small look of shock on his face. No one has ever touched his ears before, it was usually a scratch on the head or under the chin, but this… this felt really good. He wiggled his bushy tail, smiling at the human. “Apples! Sir gives us apples and bananas for treats when we are good a-and cucumbers, bok choy, and carrots are my favorite. Y-you would grow food for me?” He tilted his head slightly at the question. Would his master really grow fresh food for him to eat? Not just fresh vegetables but his favorite ones? How did Izuku get so lucky to meet him? Oh, but now he’s nervous. What if he messes up? What if Katsuki doesn’t come back tomorrow? He tried not to think too much about this and instead continued answering the questions. “A green bed! A fluffy bed, with raised edges for my head a-and blankets! I like soft, warm blankets. B-but I want to sleep with master and Eijirou… I’ll be good, I promise.” He gave the blonde his big eyes and endearing smile once more.

“You promise to come back tomorrow?” he asked softly, hiding his face in the crook of Katsuki’s neck, a little embarrassed to be so forward and also a tad afraid of the response.

Katsuki chuckled when Izuku said he liked kisses, and made a mental note of that. He'll give the bunny many, many sweet kisses, and so much tender love and affection. He was amused as he saw Izuku experience ear-pers for the first time, and chuckled softly. He listened as Izuku Izuku if his favorite foods, and made more mental notes. "Fruit is a little harder, but veggies I can do easily enough! Do you have a favorite type of apple? Granny Smith? Fuji? Honey Crisp?" He asked, wanting to make sure he treated Izuku exceptionally well. "Have you tried peaches, mangos, any form of berries? I do have some borderline wild raspberries growing in my back yard-- it's almost a weed, with how it proliferates and grows out of control before I can trim it back. If Ei didn't like them,I would have uprooted the thing by now." He grumbled faintly, showing how he was willing to put up with annoyances just for his pets.

When Izuku described his ideal bed, and hummed softly. "Do you like being under a loft with your bed, slightly off the floor on a bedframe of sorts, or on a lofted bed, nice and high,but not too high?" He asked then, before melting at Izuku's sweet face. "It's always good to have your own room to relax in, if you're overwhelmed, or need some space to think on things. Ei has his own room, too, and he uses it when he needs to relax after helping me calm down after a hard day at work. Hopefully, he wont have to work too hard with you living with us." He nuzzled softly into the bunny's hair, before taking a deep breath.... only to give the other a proper sniff. Izuku smelled like puppy smell, but with a hint of celery, basil. he let out a happy, contented sigh, before stopping himself,not wanting to seem too odd. Eijiro still had puppy smell on his crown, with a hint of cedar wood and Teakwood. Would the pets like each other's scent as much as he loved theirs?

"I promise I'll be back, but it won't be all day. I have work, but I'll be here in the morning, watching you and Eijiro play for a bit, then head out, but I'll be back to see how you two are getting along, and if you two get along, I'll bring you home along with my pup. That sound fair?" He asked gently, soothingly rubbing a hand over Izuku's back, while the other was gently massaging at the bunny's scalp. He really, really hoped he could bring him home tomorrow.

Izuku hummed listening to the sweet sound of Katsuki’s laugh coupled with his enthusiasm for potentially adopting Izuku. He had never felt so wanted in his life; this man wanted everything perfect and ready just for him! For little floppy eared runt Izuku. “Granny Smith apples! I-I like green a lot.” He said shyly before continuing. “No, none of those, b-but if Eijirou likes berries I think I will like them, too! I will share with Eijirou, I’m good at sharing.” The other made it clear that the adoption would only work if Izuku and Eijirou got along so part of the sweet bunny was afraid that Eijirou might dislike him and that would be it. He wouldn’t be going to his new home. He was determined to get the pup to like him.

He nodded fervently when it came to discussing the bed and… did Katsuki just say he would have his own room? Izuku thought of all the neat things he could include in his nest with so much space! The blankets, the pillows, the stuffed animals! All of that comfy in HIS room, in HIS nest. But still, the bunny hoped to spend most of his time with his master and the pup and sleeping in the bed they would share. “A lofted bed! I want to feel tall, like you. I-I will help Eijirou when master comes home from work… I can calm you down, you can pet me! And cuddle! If you teach me to do things l-like cleaning I can do that, too. O-or a bath! We can take a bath.” His voice elevated in excitement as he listed the various activities that could help calm the blonde down after work. Nuzzling into the human he felt Katsuki’s chest rise and fall as the human sniffed him—Izuku really hoping that his scent was pleasing to the human.

He couldn’t help but continue smiling as he spoke, huge green eyes bore into the Hero, “Oh! Oh! You’re going to leave Ei here with me? All day? So we can play? …. Yes! That’s fair, it’s fair.” Izuku was so excited at the idea of meeting Eijirou and spending the day with him, not to mention possibly being adopted, that he couldn’t stop himself from leaning in closer to the man. The feel of Katsuki’s rough hand stroking the bunnies back so gently coupled with the excellent scalp massage had Izuku whining pleasurably; his body tingling all over. His small paws(?) lightly kneading the mans chest, he began licking and nibbling his neck and jawline softly. His tail swishing back and forth. He was grooming Katsuki, a common show of affection among rabbits. “I want to go home with master.” He whispered in between nibbles.

Katsuki chuckled a little more, smiling warmly, "Green looks good on you, how can I blame you? Mint, pastel, you name it! And I'll be happy to have you try many things, see what you like best." Katsuki noted how determined the bunny was to make friends with Eijiro once they met, and it hurt his heart a little bit. Izuku wanted to be adopted by him so badly.... Katsuki knew Eijiro was a very sweet pup, loving and doting, but he had to be absolutely sure they got along well, wouldn't get into any worrying confrontation. Eijiro got along well with Shinso, but he was larger than Izuku, and was a predator himself-- the neighborhood didn't have much in way of prey hybrids, really, and any they ever did see were always scared of Eijiro, which made the big guy really sad at times. "I have high Hope's, and I'll be talking to him, too. We already talked about adding another friend to our home, and he's on board. I even told him that I was looking at rabbits, first, so I have a good feeling you two will get along."

Katsuki was a little surprised with Izuku's desire to be a good house bunny for the blonde, and he laughed as he pet along the rabbit's ears again. "I'll be happy to teach you as much as you like, including cooking, or at least safe preparation for cold meals, like salads and such. Ei knows how to cook, too, but mostly for himself at the moment, that way if I'm late to come home, he won't go hungry." He explained, hoping Izuku would feel more at ease. "Oh, baths.... I'll probably have to remodel the bathroom with the tub to fit all of us. Ei sometimes joins when he says he wants to scrub me if I'm too sore to really move right." He mused softly, unaware he may worry his potential bunny.

"Yes, all day so that you two can get to know each other, play, cuddle, and whatever fun thing you two can do together! And, again, he's a big boy-- but hes a gentle giant, and he cries if he thinks he hurts his playmates, even if they're as big as he is." He reminded gently, only to blush rather darkly as Izuku began to.... Do rather pleasant things to him, all while Sir was just watching, enjoying the blonde's mild distress. The bastard even let out a small chuckle as Katsuki gave him a 'Help. Me.' expression, before shaking his head. This bastard must know something, he had to!! "I-I know you do, and I wanna bring you home, too...." He chuckled nervously, swallowing a bit. "Th-thank you for the grooming, but can you stick to nuzzles now, for me? I uhh.... I'm a little sensitive to licks and nibbles." He asked gently, hoping not to hurt the bunny's feelings. "I-it doesnt hurt, its.... nice, but a little too nice, if you understand?" He didn't want ro admit that all of this was riling him, especially when he was wanting to adopt the bunny purely for innocent reasons-- this innocent borderline sexual intimacy was a little intense for the blonde.
