Double Lives and Painful Pasts (BakuDeku/Miya; College AU)

Loud music with bone-rattling bass, booze and weed in the air, flashing lights and many dancing college kids surrounded Miya at yet another frat party. Frat parties were hardly different than any other-- young adults looking to have fun, maybe get lucky, forget the real world for another night, or start some drama. Miya was there to be able to feel herself, feel as hot as she looked. Colorful and expertly applied lace-front wig, puppy liner with gold eyeshadow and falsies, and translucent grey-glossed lips, and a lovely dose of diamond highlighter on his cheeks and nose. The mysterious girl wore a cropped black top with a green mesh underneath, paired with matching net tights, and a pleated black mini skirt adorned with chains. She even wore chunky platform boots, to finish off her ensemble. No one here knew who she was, only that she was the seductive, airing little alt-punk girl that seemed to always know where the most entertaining parties were.

At least, according to gossip, at least. She simply knew where to look, who to ask.... it was fun, being unknown. A pretty stranger that had fun teasing party goers left and right, man, woman, in between or neither. She even had some boys wrapped about her finger, dancing with them and having the thrill of being naughty after being a good boy all the time. A good, boring, sad boy. Miya was his alter, his more confident, attractive side. Everyone that met Miya loved her or was jealous of her-- no one thought Izuku was special at all.

But, Izuku wasn't at this party-- only Miya, so she was allowed to have fun in her anonymity, feel free! No pain tonight-- only booze, maybe some green, and if she thought someone was hot along the way, maybe she'll finally stop being a tease and take someone to one of the 'couple's rooms', or one of the bathrooms. Whichever struck her mood better.

He’d finally finished all of his prerequisite classes and as able to register for and move to the campus where he could get properly started on his medicine major. He understood why some of the classes were mandatory to start, but some were such a waste of time and only delayed him from his goal. He didn’t have to worry about that anymore… He’d managed to secure a dorm for himself so he wouldn’t have to go back to living with his parents, a thought he’d been dreading, honestly. One less thing to stress about. Now he could focus on his studying and really throw himself into his future caree—-Unless his idiot friends won’t stop badgering him to go to parties that he DIDN’T WANT TO GO TO! Fucking pains in his ass, but they were so damn excited for him to be there… Dammit… While he’d resisted at first, he finally caved and agreed to go to ONE party. They all knew full well that they would only redouble their efforts now that he’d agreed once.

He stubbornly refused to accept his fate yet, but he wasn’t one to break his promises and so when the time came, he finished up the paragraph he was typing, saved his work, then went to get ready. A shower and some clothes he would never admit were carefully selected later and he was leaving his dorm and walking towards the frat house because of course Kirishima and Tetsutetsu had managed to both get into the party frat. Fuck his life. If Monoma was there, he was going to kill him. No one would ever find the body.His social anxiety hit him like a train as soon as he stepped in through the door, but he was not about to back down now and trucked forward into the excited throng of young adults. He was already regretting his choice to come here, but at least it didn’t take more than a few minutes for his idiots to notice him and rush over to not only hang out with him, but buffer him from the rest of the crowd. Admittedly he felt much better after that and once he allowed himself to accept a couple of drinks. Even better, when he was starting to look a little stressed again, Sero swooped in and offered him a joint. The brunet knew he wasn’t getting that back and was perfectly fine with that, a good thing as Bakugou fully intended on taking the whole thing down himself, fuck parties.

That’s what it finally took. Mission accomplished. Katsuki Bakugou was having a good time at the party and was comfortable enough to continue drinking with them. His friends would cherish this moment for the rest of their lives as well as hold it over his. More shocking than even the fact that Katsuki was openly having a good time was the fact that they caught him staring at someone. While the blond wasn’t exactly known for his subtlety, he was blatantly staring. He’d definitely drank too much…
