Prophecies and Legacies - OC X Bakugou/Kirishima

Nighteye is the best seer in the nation of Nagano. Many years ago, a small child wandered into his home and never left. Her name was Yukiko and he taught her Majicks as well as how to read and write and raised her as his own.

A week ago, he sent Yukiko on an errand in town but when she returned, he was gone. The only sign of his whereabouts was a note attached to the front door with a dagger.

We have your seer. If you want him back alive, the nation of Nagano will surrender to Gifu by midsummer.

King Chisaki Kai

Yukiko went to the magistrate for help but they were taking too long and it was already June so she journeyed out on her own.
Two days into her rescue mission, she was in a canyon when two dozen bandits ambushed her, demanding the dagger at her hip. The same dagger Nighteye’s abductors had left behind.

Bakugou Katsuki was ruthless, fierce, cunning, and most importantly fit to be King of the Barbarian clan that inhabited these lands. He was strong and determined, it was no wonder he demanded to be the one to hunt the bandits scavenging their lands, /alone/, and who would say no to a King? On the back of his truest friend, the only person he trusted, he rode high above the clouds, a sight rare of men even in the age of magic and dragons.

Wind blew back his blond locks as cardinal eyes pierce through the canyon only to lay eyes on something.. distressful. He commanded in their native tongue for Ei to swoop down as he believed he had not only found the bandits he were hunting but someone in need of his help. Deep down Katsuki had the heart of a Hero, even if it was often shielded by his aggressive nature.

Kirishima's talons gripped the edge of the canyon as his ruby form was far too big to fit as it was, allowing Katsuki to jump off, dropping directly behind one of the assailants. His falcata met with the man's neck before he had a moment to breathe. A stealthy hit for sure, but one that was very unlike the Barbarian King. In the aftermath of his first kill, Katsuki let out a loud roar, a scream in his native tongue to signal his appearance as he rushed into battle, swishing through each adversary with ease like a knife against grain.

Shortly after he was joined by his red-headed counter part, a tall, stocky man with a red, scaly tail and the paws of a dragon. Instinctually the other man rushed over to the person that seemed to be in the need of aid. He slashed through the back of a bandit that was directly in front of the red headed woman. "Hey! Are you alright?"

She used the dagger to slash at two bandits with her right hand while blasting another with fire using her left. “I’m fine. Thanks for the assist.” She thrust her right foot into the gut of another, sending him flying backward before turning to the redheaded male and blasting fire over his shoulder, hitting another bandit.

Kirishima's eyes lit up with excitement as he watched her fight passionately. She was strong! And was that magic? His tail wagged in excitement, taking him a little off his game. Proving dangerous to his vigilance as a fire roared past his shoulder to destroy an enemy. "Wow!" he squeaked happily, looking over his shoulder with a shark-tooth grin. "You're amazing, lady!" a hand gripping the neck of another bandit, ripping his large claws to destroy his artery.

King Katsuki was left to his own devices, ripping through enemies until there was no one left. His chest heaved, a bloody smile on his face as he began walking towards his companion and the woman he just saved. He was indeed an arrogant man. "Oi. You're welcome."

Yukiko shot fire at one last foe. “Thanks again,” she panted. “You’re amazing yourself.” With a groan, she fell to one knee, struggling to stay upright.

Just as Eijirou was about to celebrate their victory, the woman fell to her knee and worry took him. He reached out with both paws, gently as to not harm her, steadying her. "Are you alright?"

Bakugou rushed over, immediately checking over the woman for wounds, red eyes searching for anything that seemed out of place. "Eh? What the hell happened to you?"

Large red eyes searched back between the magic user and the future King. "Kats I think she's hurt!"

"Relax, you dumb dragon. Move. L'mme look." he commanded, pushing past the large man in a kind manner. "You'll just make it worse with all your worrying." he stated absentmindedly, one last surface check that yielded no results. Vermillion orbs stared intently into green. "Are you hurt?"

She shook her head as she dropped to sit on the ground. “Physical exertion mixed with Majick use can lead to fatigue, especially since I’ve been walking all day. I’m just tired. I had hoped to get to the base of the mountains by nightfall but that’s not possible now. It’s fine. I’m Sasaki Yukiko, by the way.”

"Eh?? Where you headed all by yourself?" Katsuki interrogated. He backed up, crossing his arms over his bare chest now that it was confirmed the woman--Yukiko wasn't going to bleed out and leave him with a mess.

"Kat! Don't be rude!" the shifter whined, putting one paw out to greet the woman. "I'm Kirishima Eijirou! This is Katsuki--Err! Bakugou Katsuki! Please don't call him Katsuki, he'd kill you and me both." he flashed a glint of his sharp teeth. "But-uh-yeah! Whatcha doin' out here all alone? It's dangerous!"

“Not by choice, I assure you but I’m running out of time. King Chisaki of Gifu is killing King Yagi’s favorite Seer on Midsummer and I couldn’t get an audience to launch a rescue. You’d think he’d leap to save him but…” She sighed as she played with the hem of her tunic. “I won’t bore you with the story but he means a lot to me.”

"Tch. /You're/ going to go up against Kai alone?" it was clear that the Barbarian held no respect for the King. "Even if you could get to Gifu before Midsummer it's almost impossible to--"

The dragon's heart ached for the Seer she mentioned.. King Chisaki was ruthless, heartless, a beast among men, he left a sour taste in Eijirou's mouth. "I'll take you!" he blurted out, interrupting his King. "If you can hold on tight enough not to fall off.. I-err.. well, Kat has been the only human to ride me but I can make sure to be gentle!"

Flames erupted in Bakugou's eyes as he turned to his faithful steed. "DON'T INTERRUPT ME YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD!" he snarled, his voice echoing through the canyon. "What I was /saying/ is you can't do this shit alone. We're coming. Kai's head on a pike would be a grand gift to my people when I take the throne." his lips twisted into a nasty grin
