Turns out, college is expensive. Who would've thought? He could always ask his mother for financial help, but his choice of income was more profitable and generally more exciting than asking his family for some pity. The majority of his clients were well off in the first place, so he didn't feel too bad about what he was doing, and in the rare case that somebody couldn't pay he didn't mind lowering his rate. He's an understanding person! That being said, he would stand his ground if one of his frequent fliers tried to talk him into accepting less than what was agreed upon.

As for how Vash avoided being kicked out of his dorm? Simply. He met his clients at hotels or their homes, never bringing them back to his dorm. He didn't have a roommate to worry about, but in the event that someone on his floor happened to see him, he wouldn't have much to defend himself with. It was better to factor his commute into his rates and stay away from his fellow students.

How his clients got into contact with him was mostly via previous or frequent clients, as well as through his own, off-campus advertisement. His phone number left here and there, by word of mouth, encouraging his reputation as 'the Stampede', things like that. The nearest brothel was a bit too far for him to consistently commute back and forth, so he had to make do in order to have time for his classes.

He made his schedule known with all of his clients, only taking calls when he was done with classes for the day. Which is what led him to now, choosing his most recent missed call and sinking down onto the edge of his bed as he held the phone up to his ear. When the call picks up, he gives a greeting that's meant to keep eavesdropping to a minimum and his client's privacy secure. "Hello! Thank you for being so patient, I'm sorry I missed your call! Let me make it up to you, whaddaya say?"

Nicholas leaned against a large oak tree in the back of the Church grounds, having just finished a sermon he was taking a cigarette break before attending to his other priestly duties, or at least that was the impression he was hoping to make. Unbeknownst to the other clergymen, Nicholas had just committed a very unholy act. It started about a week ago when he and Roberto met up for drinks as they always did on Tuesdays, a way for the two to catch up and partake in one of their favorite activities-- alcohol. It was all fun and games until the raven haired man had a little too much to drink and his wandering gaze behind his shades was more noticeable than before. "Why don'tcha just ask him out?" Roberto questioned, taking another sip of his beer. Nicholas sighed, running his hand down his face as if he was helping a child with their homework and they were just not getting it. "I'm a priest, idiot. I'm celibate." The response he got was not surprising, but it definitely wasn't what he expected. Roberto simply shrugged and continued drinking. Long story short, Nicholas ended up covering the entire bill in exchange for the number of some kid he could fuck with zero repercussions. Or so he was told.

One week. It took the priest 7 days to get the courage to actually make the call, and when he finally did the punk didn't even answer. Clicking the disconnect button with a sigh, Woflwood took one last drag of his cigarette before stomping it in the grass and returning to work. After a long day of listening to people's bullshit confessions, and leading yet another sermon on being a good person, Nicholas sat In his office finishing up the last bit of paperwork needed in order for the Church to receive additional financial assistance for repairs when his phone rang. A quick glance told him that he didn't have the number saved, he nearly let it go to voicemail before recalling the last 4 digits of the number being the same as the number Roberto had given him. "Fuck." he mumbled, quickly reaching for the phone and picking it up. "Uh yeah, sure. What, uh, what do you have in mind?" caught off guard by the man's up beat attitude and quite frankly cryptic way of speaking, Nicholas couldn't help but feel his confidence diminishing.

Vash was used to people who were awkward, or just didn't really know what to say to him. He didn't mind. He's spent plenty of nights not saying anything, letting actions speak for themselves. There was no telling what kind of things his clients had bottled up, and if him being silent helped even just a little bit, he'd do it with no questions asked. There was also the fact that he typically answered calls cryptically, either playing it off as an inquiry into tutoring or a date he was expecting. A date is pretty close to what he was doing, but the amount of times he did so in a month would raise questions with most people. "Well, how do you think I could best help you? I can make a house call, meet you at the library-- that sort of thing."

He crosses his ankles, leaning back on his free hand planted against the bed. He can practically feel the urge to hang up by the sound of the other's voice, so he speaks up again to hopefully settle his nerves by reminding him that he wasn't unapproachable-- he's just a person. Somebody with obligations just like everybody else, somebody who would listen and try to work with Wolfwood's schedule. "I'm free tonight if that's convenient for you, or I can schedule something for later this week? I've got classes most days, but I'm usually free by this time!"

How fucking embarrassing was this, a grown man losing his words while making a hook up call. He'd be lucky if this guy didn't hang up on him he must sound like such a virgin. Instead of being reamed or laughed at, the man on the phone was accommodating; he seemed to be doing his best to make Wolfwood feel more comfortable. God, and his voice was so soothing. Shit...

Nicholas took in a deep breath, exhaling it slowly while the other was speaking so it would be less noticeable. He had to do something to relax or this wasn't going to fucking work. He leaned back in his chair, crossing one leg over the other like a man about to make a deal. "How about I get us a room tonight, I'll text you the address and you can let me know if that's too out of the way for you." he hoped and prayed, though this wasn't something he expected the lord to help him through, that he sounded a bit more put together than when he first spoke. As he waited for the other to answer, he took note of the guy mentioning he had classes. What was he, some kind of student? He'd have to ask-- or maybe not, that wasn't any of his business.

"That's perfect! Is there anything I should bring, or do you have your own supplies?" He asks, and it's so casual coming from his mouth. He's done this so many times, it's second nature. He didn't see a reason why it had to be a big deal at all, but he's never been shamed for his interests. Rem wasn't expecting children-- and definitely not twins-- but she had raised at least one finely-adjusted young man. His curiosity had never been denied, no matter how many questions he had or what they were about. Where Nai had been disgusted by reproduction, Vash listened with an intense desire to learn and understand. It made sense that he was getting an education and looking into social work.

"Oh! I also take public transport, so I'm incredibly sorry in advance if I end up being late! It won't come out of your pocket, I promise." He reassures, pushing himself into more of an upright position so he could start to plan what he was going to bring with him. It's job security, bringing his own condoms and things like lube or emergency contraceptives. He's not about to be the person to tell a stranger that he's pregnant with their child. As for the transport situation? His legs are built to last but man, did they get sore if he walked too far.

He stands up, cradling his phone between his ear and his shoulder to continue listening to the other as he begins packing his bag and making sure everything he needed was inside.

On the other side of the phone, Wolfwood's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Supplies? What kind of... oh. OH. "I got us covered, is there something specific you'd like me to pick up?" Realizing almost immediately that the man was trying to be discreet, he quickly added, "You can text me what it is." Phew. Saved... for now. Now the hard part would be for Nicholas to actually go to the store and get what they needed. Sex was never something Wolfwood wanted, or even thought he would want, so when he joined the priesthood and took an oath of celibacy at 18 he thought it'd be a piece of cake; another thing he was wrong about in his life. As an orphan he was 'lucky' to be picked up by a family and given a 'good' life. That's the story told at least. A kind family consisting of a husband, wife, and their son, adopting a sad, pathetic little boy that would have no chance at survival otherwise. How lucky the raven haired boy was to be picked by the local big corp pastor! He'd spend his days eating well, attending school, going on vacation, and being the perfect victim to his adopted father's dirty little secret. A boy with no where to go, with nothing to his name, who got caught stealing when he was just 5 years old.. who would they believe? The beloved priest or him?

Public transport? Wolfwood had no idea how far the location he picked was from where the man was, but judging from him saying he has classes Nicholas had an idea. The university wasn't terribly far away from where he picked, by car, but taking public transport would take the poor guy 45 minutes plus a long walk. He'd offer to pick him up but that would be creepy wouldn't it? Clearly he met with people at random locations like this because he didn't want them knowing where he stayed, right? "I can send you money in advance to call a taxi. Not an issue with you being late, I really don't care... it's, uh, just I want to make this as comfortable for you as possible." Damn. Another plead to an unhearing God that he didn't sound like a creep.

"Can do!" He chirps, punctuating it by zipping his bag up and slinging it over his shoulder. There wasn't much he usually asked for, especially for clients that he's never seen before. It didn't sound like Wolfwood had anything particular in mind, so he figures he wouldn't be too interested in anything out of pocket. Most people who had a specific fetish just asked for it, no dancing around it! A bit funny, answering the phone to a greeting and then you ever stomped on somebody's balls?. Yes, yes he has! He's still debating whether or not it was as good as it would be with, well, organic feet. His prostheses were advanced and very fancy, but it wasn't like it could replicate flesh and bone that easily!

"Oh? Hmm... y'know what? I'll take you up on that offer, but I'm gonna meet you in the middle. You'll see what I mean!" He concludes, giving his room a once-over before grabbing his keys and heading out. He gives a pleasant 'see you soon!' before hanging up, and immediately texting Wolfwood the location of a bus stop halfway between the two points, and suggesting he provide water and towels if he felt like they may be needed. That way he could be careful about his location, while also costing less money since he only needed a ride for half of the trip. Vash the Stampede opposes fuel prices rising! ...Not in the same way as his older brother, but nobody hates anything like Nai hates things.

Vash jogs to the point he'd given Wolfwood, mind wandering between what he assumed he would be doing with this new client and the miserable separation between him and Nai. The last time he saw Nai was on the night of their worst fight-- both of them coming out of it injured, both of them full of grief over the other. Wondering why the other couldn't just give up and stop trying to be apart. They were born together, spent nine months entwined with one another, never meant to be separated. They'd both refused to press charges one way or another, and as far as Vash knew, they haven't been within a mile of eachother since.

He knew it was only a matter of time. It always came back when he was at his worst, when he was the most likely to give up and just let Nai win.

His ride to the location they'd agreed upon was full of those thoughts, too, between pleasant conversation with the driver about his degree and how he had a date. The conversation helps and Nai is pushed to the back of his mind once again, lurking where Vash was the weakest. He bids the driver a good night when he gets out of the car, heading into the lobby of the hotel and glancing around curiously. He shoots Wolfwood a text.

I'm here! Should I come to you? :^)

Wolfwood definitely wasn't the type of guy to have kinks, fetishes... er whatever was out of "ordinary" sex. That would just be weird, right? Asking a guy to let you piss on him or burn cigarettes on his back or call him an ugly-- No. No that was not what Wolfwood wanted. He was simply doing this to see what it's like, to get the insatiable urge out from under his skin so he can move on with his life.

The priest was confused but didn't push, guess he'd see what the man meant when it happened. "Alright, have it your way." He wasn't the type to get into anyone's business after all, especially not someone he didn't even know. At the end of the call, Wolfwood sighed in relief, hanging his head back and dropping his arms to his sides which ended with his phone hitting the floor. One annoying grunt later and he was picking up his phone only to be greeted by a text from the guy. "Towels? Water? What are we doing running a marathon?" he said aloud to his empty office before packing up for the day and heading out. In the parking lot of the Church, Nicholas straddled his beloved matte black motorcycle that he lovingly named The Punisher while he arranged the taxi to pick his guest up at the half way point and bring him to the meeting location. Next stop the store to get towels and water for whatever reason... he'd pick up some snacks, too.

Wolfwood arrived early to the hotel as planned, since he picked a location literally down the street from the Church, got their keys and headed up to make it nice for when the young man he'd be spending the night with arrived. He arranged the snacks on the empty desk in such a way that it almost looked like a spread backstage at a movie set, he may have went overboard but if the guy was asking for water, what else would he need during this endeavor? So to be safe Wolfwood grabbed a few bags of chips, some cookies, cut up fruit, fruit gummies, and last but not lease the water. Oh, can't forget the stack of perfectly folded towels that were requested sat neatly on the night stand.

Wolfwood sat on the balcony of their room smoking a cigarette when he received a text from his 'date'. Remembering that the man wanted to remain discreet, the priest didn't offer to meet him in the lobby and instead sent him a reply.

Vash might not be planning on making Wolfwood run a marathon with him, but he might as well be. Well, maybe. He's done a lot of calls where his virgin client has turned very rough very quickly, which was always a surprise but never quite an unpleasant one. He asked for basic aftercare items even if he didn't expect to be jumping through hoops or being plowed like somebody was harvesting the crops last minute, just because bodies were weird and got all sticky and sweaty. People who are nervous about it especially sweat more, and the ability to take a break in the middle of everything was reassuring.

Vash waited, swaying side to side and smiling politely at the guests and employees around him. He was probably recognizable by at least some of the people working at this point, so they didn't give him too much thought. He's trying to politely avoid making eye contact with any guests though, as he didn't really have the time to stop for a conversation-- he was way too easy to distract like that. Luckily his phone pings with the other's message about the time things start to get tense and a greeting is uttered, and he begins towards the elevator as he opens the message and reads the instructions. Easy enough!

He preened himself a bit in the reflective metal of the inside of the elevator, pushing his sunglasses up on his nose. It wasn't particularly busy, so the ride is short and he's soon exiting to put Wolfwood's instructions to use. Taking a right, down the hall, looking between the room number and his phone--

He grabs the doorknob and turns it, shoulders relaxing as it was revealed to be unlocked. He opens the door, holding it open with his foot and peering inside. "Hello? Hope I'm not too early!"

He doesn't immediately see Wolfwood, so he sets his bag down on the bed and tries not to giggle in joy at the spread of snacks. Not a lot of people did that for him! Even if food was offered, it was usually a fancy restaurant he felt a bit awkward at or it wasn't exactly for eating. His observation is cut short when he notices Wolfwood through the window though, and he approaches the door to the balcony. He pokes his head out, smiling. "Would you like me to join you out here? It's nice out, not too cold but not too humid, either."

The priest sat on the balcony, one of his legs jumping restlessly as he took a long drag of his cigarette, placing his phone in his pocket. For a brief moment he contemplated what the hell he was doing but it was clearly too late, the guy was on the way to their room, he couldn't exactly cancel even if he wanted to. He said a silent prayer quickly though he wasn't quite sure what he was praying for... for forgiveness? For strength? For protection so his dick wouldn't fall off even though he planned on using condoms?

Just as he hung his head back over the chair to let out a deep sigh he heard a voice which made him jump slightly. "Jesus Christ," he cursed under his breath, turning to look at his 'date'. Blond... cute. They locked eyes for a moment before he nodded, taking another drag of his near-gone cigarette. "Yeah, it's nice out," he replied, motioning for the other to take a seat, "good riding weather."
