Look what you did to me!! [Tetsu/Kiri x Baku]

He knew he should have never gone to the damn party when he woke up, naked, next to some... some guy. In a bed that wasn't even his. He knew he shouldn't have let Mina, fucking Mina, drag him to this shitty frat house to party, shouldn't have taken hits off the bong being passed around, shouldn't have indulged in some shots offered to him. He knew he shouldn't have let his guard down. But there was a lot of things he shouldn't have done, all of those in the past now.
He had woken up with a killer headache, but that didn't stop him from quietly sneaking out from under the covers, scrambling to get his clothes back on and booking it out of the massive frat house, cursing under his breath. He moved so damn fast that he even forgot his hearing aids, which he wouldn't realize until he was already back at his dorm.
Good thing he had an extra pair, just for this emergency. Sure, they weren't black and were the gross beige color, but they would have to work until he managed to buy new ones or found the old ones, though he knew that would be next to impossible. There was no way he would let himself meet with that bastard, he didn't even know who the fucker was.
It's two months later when he starts feeling weird. His nose seems more sensitive to smells, and he's started waking up to puke. First thing he thought of was that he was getting sick, or that some of the food in his minifridge had started to spoil, but when that wasn't the case, dread settled heavy in his stomach. No... that couldn't be right. He had been on birth control... did he forget a dosage or something? He hasn't had sex since---
No..
Three positive pregnancy tests later (why were the fuckers so damn expensive?), his suspicions and fears are confirmed, and he feels sick again. Pregnant... How the hell could he let this happen? He had worked so hard to get rid of the feminine figure, had gotten the surgery on his chest, took the testosterone regularly.. this never should have happened. He was on birth control! Though it seems, after a call to his doctor, that some birth control options don't work for some people and that he'll have to change birth control.
He knew he wouldn't be able to terminate the pregnancy, the procedure scared the shit out of him and he didn't want to endure that, so his next best option was to go through with it... and give it up to either the father or to adoption.
He just needs to find the bastard responsible.
A call to Mina was all it took to figure out when the next party would be, and dressed in skinny jeans and a v-neck, he attends, though he feels like he's sticking out like a sore fucking thumb. He avoids the drinks, the drugs, and instead keeps himself alert, eyes over the crowd. Thankfully, he's not too short at 5'11, but there's still a few taller than him.
He spots him, and his blood boils.
"OI!" He yells over the music, pushing through the crowd and grabbing the bastard's wrist. The pregnancy tests were in his back pocket, inside a zip-lock bag, (he made damn sure the shit wasn't poking out) and once he'd dragged the asshole upstairs, into a room far from the music, he turns the light on, slams the door shut, locks it and pulls out the tests. He thrusts the bag into the other's face.
"Look what you fucking did to me you fucking asshole. Why the hell didn't you wear a condom? Why the fuck did you not realize I was under the fucking influence? What the fuck is wrong with you?" He throws the little bag at the other's chest before starting to pace.
"I was on birth control and it turns out the shit sometimes doesn't work so now I have to change that, which will be fucking annoying because of insurance and doctor visits and don't even think of suggesting abortion because I already thought of that shit and the idea of some random shithead shoving medical equipment up my fucking crotch does not sound very good. So there's two fucking choices. Either A," he pauses, turning to glare. "You can have the kid when it's born and leave me the fuck out of it's life because I'm broke as hell and don't want to co-parent when I have shit to focus on, or B, we can both save money and shit and get the fucker to be adopted but I am not letting you get off scott free. You are going to come with me to every fucking appointment and get me through this fucking pregnancy because I am not doing it alone and like hell I'm going to let my parents get involved. They live too damn far and I don't want to listen to my mother's 'I told you so' speeches or her going on about wanting a grandkid and guilting me into keeping the brat. Understood?"
-----
It could be a little intense being a part of the party frat. He'd actually gotten lucky to have gotten in, honestly. His father's house wasn't all that far away from the college, but he'd really wanted some independence and he also hadn't wanted to disappoint his best bro! He's met Kirishima in high school and the two had hit it off from the first time they'd met.
Sadly they'd been more or less part of different social circles, but they hung out when they could. Now they lived in the same frat and it was great! Eijirou's middle school friend was really chill too! He'd gotten to hang out with some of his friends, but college was a pretty time-consuming affair and his own calling was particularly training heavy. So was the life of an artist, particularly one dedicated to a dying art.
Still, he didn't miss the parties when they were thrown, at the very least, as even he needed a break from time to time. He'd had a great time as he usually did, but things took an unusual turn for him. While he usually hung out with particular people, his bro for example, he'd been caught alone by a gorgeous blond and things had... Escalated. Now he was waking up in an empty bed and couldn't quite remember how he'd gotten there. Feeling no particular rush to get going as he didn't have any classes today, he lay there for a while peacefully waking at his own pace.
When he was ready, he sat up and looked around his room, slowly recalling the night before. More or less. Had... Had he... Gotten laid? Another quick look around revealed the strip of condoms still in their wrappers, but none opened. Right... No, he remembered now. Wild. He'd never thought he would ever find himself in that kind of situation. Shit... Didn't even know the guy's name... Or who exactly it was for that matter.
What are those...? He frowned as he squinted at the little black things on his nightstand, very gingerly picking one up. Ear buds? No, no, that's dumb, these were different. Oh. Hearing aids. Oh, fuck. Poor guy must have forgotten them! Shit... He had no idea who he was and couldn't remember him quite well enough to even ask around. Man... He felt bad now, these couldn't be cheap and there were two of them. With a guilty sigh, he plucked up the other and placed them safely at the back of the drawer.
Life continued on after that, normal as could be for him. He'd been affectionately teased by some of his frat buddies about his one night stand, but other than that, nothing was different and that didn't last longer than a week. The last thing he expected was for his life to be absolutely turned upside down at a party just a couple of months later. He'd been a little late coming down as he had an assignment he needed to get done before he relaxed, but with his textbook closed and assignment tucked into his messenger bag, he was coming down to join the crowd, happily greeted despite his late appearance.
And it was rather short-lived no less. Both he and Kirishima had a growth spurt right at the end of high school and while Kirishima had playfully lorded his 6'4" over him for a little while, that had stopped when his own height leveled out at 6'6". Needless to say the two of them weren't particularly difficult to spot and that very thing had him suddenly being yelled at and dragged off by the wrist. While he was fairly confident he could free himself if he really wanted to, he did no such thing. Amid laughter and some wolf whistles that left him blushing, he was lead right back upstairs and hilariously right back into his room.
He blinked owlishly at the light as it came on for a second, confused as normally these things were done with the lights off weren't they, only to have a ziplock back suddenly in his face. Startled back to attention, he obediently looked at the contents only to pale, throat going tight. He'd never actually seen one of these in person, but he certainly knew what a pregnancy test was. Worse there were three of them and they all had little pluses on them. Common sense suggested that a plus indicates a positive result and the outraged rant coming at him like a freight train confirmed it.
"I-It's you... I-I tried to use one, you didn't let me! I even asked if you were on birth control and you said you were! I was drunk too or I wouldn't have even considered...!" He trailed off as the little bag was thrown at him, catching it before it could hit the ground and looking at the tests in his hands again. He had no idea how his father was going to react to this, but he found that he also wasn't going to let that sway his decision either.
So birth control didn't always work for everyone? He didn't know that... How awful... This was a hell of a way to find out you're on the wrong one too. "Do you...? Do you want to keep---" He was cut off quickly by the order to not even suggest what he was about to question him about and even gave reasoning. Alright. So he wanted to carry to term, but was soon making it very clear that he had no intention of being a part of the baby's life.
He nodded slightly, taking a deep and steadying breath. "Yeah... I understand." He confirmed, moving around the blond carefully. "I don't want them given away to some strangers. I'll raise the baby." He announced with shocking certainty for someone that was barely an adult. Opening the top drawer of his nightstand, he fished around for a moment, then turned back to the fuming blond. Holding out a hand, he offered the two little black devices he'd held onto. "These are yours, right? Have you made an appointment with the doctor yet? You said before that you're broke. I can cover your doctor bills if your insurance doesn't cover all of it."
-----
"Tch--" The fact that he had begged for no condom is a bit embarrassing, but he doesn't let himself be bothered by it. In his mind, the idiot should've put one on anyway, even if he was just as drunk. But, he supposed he shouldn't be too mad at the bastard, he likely didn't realize. Eyes narrowing, he watched the bastard as he moved, arms crossing over his chest as he listens.
He's... honestly surprised to hear that he wanted to keep the baby. Brows furrowing, he watched him pull something from the drawer, only to realize the guy kept his hearing aids. He's speechless for a second as he takes them, glancing up at him. This was.. turning out a lot different than he had expected it to, he was dumbfounded. Tucking the hearing aids into his pocket, he shook his head.
"I haven't made an appointment yet because I'm not sure which would be the best place to go. I have insurance, but my parents have all the information, and if they find out why I need the info, they're gonna pry and shit. I could probably text my dad and ask him to keep it quiet, but he'll tell the old bitch anything." He moves toward the bed and drops down onto it, falling back and bringing his hands up to scrub tiredly at his face.
"The most annoying part of this shit is the morning sickness. It's not just in the morning, and shit already smells weird. I haven't even had much to eat today, only a granola bar." He was still processing all of this. The life in his womb, the sickness, the fact that he was going to give birth in eight months.. it was all fucking terrifying to him, but at least he had someone to help him figure shit out. He felt so tired... The music isn't too loud, and even then he could take his hearing aids out. And the bed was really comfy...
"..." He sits up and kicks his shoes off. "I'm gonna take a damn nap. I haven't been able to sleep lately because of this and shit I'm working on for my major. Go back to the party." He grunts, pulling his hearing aids out and turning them off, setting them on the nightstand before he's crawling under the covers. Now that he had some shit taken care off, he was going to sleep. Even if it was in this guy's bed. They'd already had sex in it, so sleeping was hardly anything to worry about. "Wake me up in a few hours." He says, though it's a bit odd sounding since he can't hear himself, only focusing on shaping the words with muscle memory. He doesn't even care if the other is still there or not.
-----
He wondered if the blond normally acted this way or if this was only because he was angry at him. He couldn't exactly blame him... This wouldn't have happened if he'd had enough of a mind to keep his dick in his pants. He took some comfort in the shock his own reaction to the situation had gotten as well as the fact he'd returned hearing aids they guy probably assumed to be lost at this point.
He frowned at the information offered to him, nodding slightly. He'd have to see if he could figure something out. Lots of pregnant people didn't go to the doctor for a while, but most people weren't transmen. "You're taking hormones, right? I don't know too much about babies, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to stop those till after." He hoped the guy would be reasonable enough to stop his hormones without too much fuss considering what that could do to the baby growing in him.
He didn't complain when the other sat himself on his bed and soon enough was making himself comfortable. So he was suffering from morning sickness. He was sure there had to be something that could help with that, but he had no idea what. Regardless, a single granola bar wasn't nearly enough for anyone in general, let alone someone that was pregnant.
Sure enough, it looked like he was going to sleep right in his bed. He nodded when ordered away, heading for the door with so very much on his mind. There was suddenly a whole lot to do and the last thing on his list was 'enjoy the party'. He looked back at the blond a final time before stepping out into the hall and clicking the door shut. He made his way downstairs in a bit of a rush, scanning the crowd before spotting that familiar shock of red hair he was looking for. Rather than calling out to him, he walked right up, taking a hold of his elbow and almost immediately starting to literally pull him from the conversation he was in.
"I need to borrow him for a bit, sorry about that!" He called as he moved them towards the stairs, his smile fading as soon as they started climbing up, though the faux redhead looked confused, even concerned, he didn't protest further. It wasn't hard to tell that something important was happening. "I need you to keep everyone out of my room. Everyone, bro. I'll tell you why later, just... Do me this favor okay? I need to go out for a bit and I don't want anyone going in there."
"Yeah... Yeah, sure man. Everything okay?" Asked the slightly shorter hunk, his concern deepened by the secrecy alone.
"Yeah. Sorta... I'll tell you later, I promise." He insisted, with his best friend in place at the door, he felt comfortable enough leaving, going back downstairs, plucking his keys from the hook and pulling his phone out of his pocket. It was ringing shortly after and he spoke almost as soon as the other end went live. "Hey, Kendo. Sorry for doing this outta the blue, but... I need some really serious advice and no judgment. You can yell at me later..."
A couple of hours later, he'd finished his visit with his closest female friend, gotten help with some research, then finally set off to actually get what he needed. Another hour after that and he was finally back with the bags clenched in his fists. His chest felt a little tight when he looked up towards the second floor to find Kirishima still standing right where he'd left him three hours ago, back leaned against the door frame and even smiling down at him when he noticed he'd returned. He'd owe him so much more than an explanation after this...
"Thanks, man... I owe you. Go enjoy the party, we'll have a long talk as soon as things settle down." He appreciated the acceptance of that answer, though the concerned look he got as the other left his side hurt. He'd tell him soon enough, but he really needed to sort things out in his head and with the blond inside first. Quietly letting himself in, he closed and locked the door again, coming over to the bed and putting down the bag of things. Sitting himself down on the edge carefully, he reached out to gently rub a hand up the other's arm only to give his shoulder a squeeze, if that didn't wake him, he would carefully give him a shake.
-----
Unfortunately, the shorter blond wasn't able to fall asleep right away. Not when there was a shit ton of things on his mind. He wouldn't be able to take his testosterone, deal with sickness, a big stomach... At the thought, his hand slides down under his shirt, swallowing thickly as his hand feels over his stomach. This was so weird, he doesn't know how the hell he was going to be able to go through this. While it wouldn't be on his own, he didn't know how well-prepared the guy was, not to mention they didn't even really know one another's names. He's seen him around campus a few times, but otherwise he hasn't seen him often. The only reason it was easy to find the fucker was because of how damn huge he was, and that silver hair of his helped a lot too.
He drifts off before he realizes what's going on, face half buried into the pillow. His chest rose and fell with each slow breath, and it's the first nap he's been able to take since figuring out his situation. He'd been so stressed between school and figuring out what to do with the life forming inside him. Not to mention, the bed was super comfortable, a lot more so than his own shitty dorm bed. No telling how long he would've slept right there if the other hadn't come in to wake him finally.
He's always been a pretty light sleeper in terms of being touched, so when a hand brushes up his arm and squeeze his shoulder, he wakes up slowly, groggily pushing himself to sit up. One hand scrubs over his eyes as he yawns. Peeling his eyes open, he squints toward the guy before grumbling under his breath and reaching for the hearing aids, sluggishly putting them in and turning them on.
"Never learned your name by the way." He scoots to lean back against the headboard of the bed, knees bent up as he crossed his arms over his chest, eyes on the other. He's still tired, a bit more docile than before, but he's at least alert and a little more rested. "I'm Bakugo Katsuki." He glanced over the other before the top of a bag caught his attention, and he sat up, leaning over with a frown. "Did you go out?" He questioned, wondering why the hell the guy went out anywhere. Had he locked the bedroom door or something? Told people not to go in? He narrowed his gaze toward the man. "What the hell have you been up to while I was asleep?"
-----
Thankfully he wasn't difficult to rouse, nor did he flip his shit when woken up. A bit of a shame though... He'd looked so pretty sleeping there. Still, he'd asked to be woken up and they had things to discuss. He quietly waited for him to gather himself, realizing that it might be prudent to learn JSL. "Glad you got some sleep. Sorry, I didn't introduce myself before, it was just... A lot, ya know? My name's Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. They're all different characters." He shrugged, a little embarrassed about his name, but what can you do, right?
He looked down at the bag when it was pointed out and he nodded, reaching down to pull it up onto the bed. "Yeah. Don't worry, I had my best friend stand by the door while I was out so no one would try to come in. I feel kinda bad about it. I was out for like three hours and he was still right there when I got back. He's a really good guy." He was a little hesitant to continue then as he realized this part might upset him, but he really hadn't known what else to do.
"Anyway, I... I had a talk with a really close friend about this. Don't worry, I made her promise not to breathe a word to anyone about it." He reached into the back and pulled out two pieces of paper folded together. He unfolded them and handed them over. "The one on the top there is a list of doctors for you to pick from. We spent an hour and a half looking at reviews and stuff so they're all good. Mix of men and women so you pick whichever you're most comfortable with. Well, whichever you're comfortable with that takes your insurance. To get your insurance info, Kendo suggested telling your parents that you were due for a gyno visit for a pelvic exam because you should have those once a year anyway. I have no idea what a pap smear is, but she mentioned one of those too."
"The second sheet is a list of foods that help with morning sickness. Speaking of which..." From the bag he pulled out a rather brightly colored package. These should help when you're feeling sick." He went on, placing the bag down and then pulling out a little white tub with a pink cap. "This will help minimize stretch marks as your tummy grows because I'm sure you won't want those later." Reaching in again, he brought out a bottle with a pink label. "Prenatal vitamins you should take."
And finally, he pulled the last thing out of the bag. Well... Last two things. He offered the man a clear take out container of still warm chicken noodle soup along with a spoon. "A granola bar isn't nearly enough food for anyone. It's really important you eat enough." How the hell did this bastard even exist? In just three hours, he'd not only did everything he could to solve the problems he'd been presented with, but even problems that hadn't even been brought up yet, all without complaint. Helpful though he was being, there was something somber about him and how he approached the whole thing. If nothing else, there was no question now how serious he was about this and that he was stepping the hell up and taking responsibility.
-----
"Tetsutetsu..." Well, he can't say he's met someone with such a name, and he can't help the slight nose crinkle at the name. It'll take some getting used to but he supposed he could deal with it for right now. And it was nice the guy essentially had someone body-guard the door, but he still wondered what the hell he went to do.
His question is answered without him needing to say anything as Tetsu starts to pull items out of the bag, making Katsuki sit up a small bit with furrowed brows. Taking the paper, he doesn't say anything as he unfolds them and looks them over. Glancing at the list of food, he doesn't have enough time to look at the whole list before more things are being pulled out of the bag. He crosses his legs now as he sets the paper aside, taking the absolute eyesore of a bag, looking it over. Then he's being given lotion to prevent stretchmarks and prenatal vitamins. His mouth is a bit agape in absolute awe, he had gone out and bought all of this for him?
It's the chicken noodle soup that has him speechless, hesitantly taking the container. He... Doesn't think he's ever had someone do this much for him. Popping the lid open of the soup, he gives a sniff. His stomach growls loudly, and his face flushes. He quietly takes the spoon and takes some of the broth. Its... So good.
The tears are flowing before he could stop them, why the hell did he feel like such a fucking dick? He had sprung all of this on the guy, and he had expected the other to bolt or to fight him or... something. He didn't expect this.
"Th-" He clears his throat, bringing a hand up to wipe at his face as the soup rests in his lap. He sniffles. "Thank-you for... All of this. You fuckin'.. Overachiever." He grumbles, glancing up to the taller man. "Why the hell are you doing all of this? We don't know each other. Why try helping me so much? Its... Weird. But-- not a bad weird."
-----
"Yeah... I like the name, knowing its characters, but it sounds kinda dumb aloud." He admitted with a shrug, but soon enough he was preoccupied with showing the blond what he'd gotten for him. Each thing was presented then set aside till finally, he'd offered him the soup. Thankfully, he was more than willing to eat and didn't fuss. Good. Staying well-fed would be important for both him and the baby to be healthy. The last thing he needed was to have to argue with him about taking care of himself.
What he hadn't expected were the tears. "You don't need to thank me..." He murmured gently to him, reaching out to help him wipe the tears away. The skin of his hand was rough, but his touch was incredibly gentle. It did bring to question what he did that was so hard on his hands for them to feel this way though.
"I'm weird for doing what a decent human being should do? I make it a point to help people when I can and money isn't something I'm exactly short on. I... Don't like showing people that because they start treating me different, but my Dad makes a good amount of money so buying things for people is no big deal. What's important is that I can help them a little. But... You're not just some stranger either. I'm at least half the reason you're in this mess and I'm going to take responsibility for it. I wouldn't be much of a man if I just abandoned you when you're carrying my kid." Realizing that he had probably been touching him too long, he pulled his hand back.
Instead, he reached into the back, crumpled the receipts inside and slipped them into the pocket of his jeans, making it clear he had no intention of getting paid back for the items he'd purchased. "Being pregnant is really rough on your body, ya know? I need to make sure you're taken care of and healthy till the end. I wouldn't want you hurt because of me."
With that he started to place everything back into the now empty bag so it would be easy to take when ever the blond decided he wanted to leave. "If you don't believe me and would rather hear a more selfish reason, your health directly affects the baby too. I have to make sure you're healthy so that when the baby is born, they'll be healthy too. It'll be particularly important if you're leaving right after. While my friend looked up doctors for you, I was researching newborns and how to take care of them without their mother. Turns out the first three months, breastfeeding is important because the baby gets some antibodies from their mom till their body starts making their own. Without their mom's milk, they don't really have an immune system so it's important they be as healthy as possible when they're born."
He ran his fingers through his hair, clearly already feeling the pressure of being a good father and the kid wasn't even born yet. "We should exchange numbers. I'll text you my schedule and you can try to get appointments when we're both not in class. If that's not possible, don't fuck up your major, I'll skip class to go and bring a doctor's note for my professors. Hopefully, that will be enough. You can also text me if you need anything. Doesn't matter the time. You need me 3am on a school night? I'll be there."
-----
The touch to his cheek, while he knows it's to wipe away his tears, he can't help the way his breath hitches a small bit, heat rising up his neck. This was weird, it was far too weird for him, but maybe he could just blame it on the mess hormones going on inside him and not the fact that Tetsutetsu was really fucking hunky and attractive, and feeling the rough hand touch him so gently.. he's vaguely reminded of that night. He doesn't remember much, but he remembers feeling strong hands feel his body up.
He hates how it does things to him.
And while it was true, with Tetsutetsu was being a decent human being to make sure he was safe and cared for until the baby was born, he felt so fucking guilty for springing this on him so suddenly. His chest aches as the hand pulls back, and he glances down, quietly mixing the soup with the spoon. Then, being hit in the face with how much research the guy had done about taking care of a newborn without him, he winced a small bit. It.. was unfair. It was unfair to spring this all on the guy and expect him to take the kid without complaint, yet here he was... doing exactly that. He was clearly kind and compassionate...
"..." His lips press into a thin line as he sets the spoon aside and put the lid back on the tub of soup, setting it aside and standing. He glances around the room before finding a pen and some paper, scribbling down his number. He tears the small piece of paper and brings it back to Tetsutetsu, handing it over. "Just.. Do me a favor and don't be too overbearing. While I get you might be worried for the kid, I know how to take care of myself, and I plan to do more research when I get back to my dorm." He moves to place the food back into the bag, picking it up.
"I-- I need to go." He slips his shoes on quickly and heads for the door, though hesitates to glance toward the guy. Maybe.. he should've done the guy a favor and kept him out of this. Katsuki doesn't say anything as he turns back away and leaves the room, shutting the door behind him and hurrying off. Maybe he should just pretend this never happened, maybe he should stay away from the guy before he got attached, before shit went wrong. Tetsutetsu was willing to put his whole future at risk to take care of a kid because of some stupid mistake, and Katsuki hated the guilt in his stomach, feeling like a lead ball weighing him down.
-----
Sure enough, his touch was registered as too intimate and he could see as the heat rise in the other's skin. He'd probably overstepped himself. Of course, he had. It was foolish to think that the blond wanted anything other than help through his pregnancy then he would be back out of his life. No need for intimacy or anything else that came with a romantic partner. He'd thought he was hot enough to have sex with, but had no interest in anything more. They didn't really know each other, it made sense.
What's more, he couldn't imagine the damage pregnancy would have on the guy's body. He was part of the Saga community himself so he'd met a couple of trans people. Though he couldn't imagine being in their shoes, he sure as hell understood that they were very sensitive about their bodies and their ability to pass. Pregnancy would have the exact opposite effect on his body that he wanted. Why would he even consider getting to know him? He probably already hated him for everything that this was going to do to him. Even when he was rid of the infant themselves, he would have to carry whatever happened to his body for the rest of his life in one way or another. It really does make sense that he would hate him.
Hand withdrawn and everything packed back into the bag for him, he wasn't sure what to do with himself. He could technically leave him to enjoy the party now as he'd seen to all the issues pregnancy was currently presenting him, but... He didn't want to. He wanted to stay here and keep him company while he ate. Even if the blond chose to cut him completely out of his life again after giving birth, he figured he should have some sort of relationship with him.
It took him a moment to notice that the blond had stopped eating and then putting the lid back on entirely. Shit. Was he feeling sick? The soup should have been gentle enough on his stomach to prevent that. He supposed when you were feeling particularly ill that wouldn't make as much of a difference as one would hope though. He didn't look like he felt sick though... Just... Upset. Maybe the weight of the situation was catching up with him. He couldn't blame the guy, it was surely going to be really hard on him till everything was over. Still, his lips parted to check only to close as the other, Katsuki, right, stood himself up and wordlessly went to his desk.
A moment later and he was being handed a scrap of paper with a phone number on it. Oh, yeah he needed this. He would make sure to put this somewhere he wouldn't lose it in case something happened to his phone. "Yeah, sure. I figured you could, I mean, you look great so I can't imagine you were just eating junk up till now, but... I'm not just worried about the baby. That's part of it, sure, but your health is important too. You might think it's weird to care about someone I don't know, but I don't want you to suffer because of all this." The guy was unfair with how earnest he was...
The silver haired himbo started to stand when Bakugou decided it was time for him to get out of there, but then remembered, 'don't be overbearing.' Reluctantly, he let his weight settle back down on the bed. Despite that, he continued to watch the other young man, catching his eyes as he looked back. Big and touch as he looked, he looked strangely lost in that moment. It was true, he was very uncertain of what to do with himself, desperately wanting to help even though there wasn't really anything for him to do at that moment.
Then he was gone and the door was clicking shut again. He could still hear the music downstairs, he should get to the party. He really didn't feel like partying right now though... With a sigh, he was pulling out his phone, putting the number he'd been given into it with the guy's name in the contact information. He hoped he spelled that right... For now, he had to write it in hiragana as he didn't know the kanji used. In the notes section, he wrote 'Baby' just in case, though he doubted he would be able to forget who that name belonged to. Better safe than sorry.
About ten minutes later, Katsuki's phone would ping him with a text message:
"Hey, this is Tetsutetsu, Tetsutetsu.
Ah, so the kanji for his surname were 'iron' and 'wise and consistent', while his given name were 'Going through' and... Well, the last character was simply the ancient kanji for 'iron'. So his name pretty much boiled down to the Piercing Iron of Iron Philosophy. Someone needed to have a word with his father about how to name a baby...
"Here's my schedule!"
His schedule followed consisting of class names such as AD 223 with a Building number and classroom next to it and the start and end time of said class.
"If I'm not in class, you can usually find me in Building 8 Studio 26. It's on the second floor. If I'm not there, I'm at the frat. Best bet, just call or text me to find me. Seriously, the time doesn't matter.
Enjoy the soup and I hope the candies help when you're feeling sick. Have a good night, man."
-----
Somehow, Katsuki was tempted to just ghost Tetsutetsu and give the baby away, just so the guy didn't have to be stuck with a brat. It was clear he was trying hard to be a good parent, even before the baby was born, but it still felt wrong. Tetsutetsu didn't deserve this, not really, not when he had been more at fault, it seemed, when he had told the other to not use the condom. Damn it, he swore he was never drinking again. Not when there were hot guys around.
By the time he gets back to his dorm, he's starving, unable to help himself to the soup. After re-warming it up, he's sitting at his desk, looking over the the vitamin pills, the lotion and the sweets. He'll have to try and keep on top of the stuff just to make sure he didn't run out. He was in the middle of reading the directions for use when his phone pings. It's Mina when he checks it, asking where he was at the party, but he ignores her when he notices the texts from a new number.
Chewing the inside of his cheek, he hesitantly saves the number in his contacts, though he doesn't respond. Instead, he puts his phone aside, grabbing the list of doctors and opening his laptop. He needed to send an email to his mom to make sure he got the shitty insurance info, and he needed to look up each doctor on his own. Maybe he could just avoid involving Tetsutetsu altogether and keep the guy in the dark. Keep him from having the shitty life of a young dad.
Yeah, that only lasts about a week and a half.
The sweets work wonders, and he made sure to buy a few extra bags on backup for now, and he's already started rubbing some of the lotion on his stomach, simply because paranoia had started to set in, and he wanted to prevent the stretchmarks as soon as possible. It's hard to notice, but there was a slight bump of his stomach. Mostly he looked bloated, and it was easy to hide under a shirt. But because of further paranoia, he's decided to steal an old friend's hoodie, Deku was always sickeningly helpful like that. He had managed to keep his mother's curiosity sedated when he told her he just wanted a typical checkup, and he booked the most friendly doctor he could find for an ultrasound.
He was fucking terrified of what he would see, so with his shitty old car, he drove to the frat-house and leaned back in his seat. The appointment was in an hour... He knew he couldn't do this alone.
With his phone, he opens up Tetsu's contact and shoots him a quick text.
'Outside the frat house waiting for you. In the black car. Just get in.' With that sent off, he puts his phone back in the center console and bounces his leg nervously as he looks toward the place. He better fucking be here.
-----
And so he waited in silence for the blond to send him a message to let him know they had a doctor's appointment to go to. But nothing came. In that time, he'd finally confided in his best friend that he'd accidentally gotten someone pregnant, but out of respect, he refused to give a name or description of them. Luckily it seems that Eijirou hadn't noticed when the blond had left his room and subsequently the party so as supportive as he was being, he was still left mostly in the dark.
Not that there was much else to say. After a week, he'd heard nothing and he'd almost sent a message on his own, but then once again had remembered that he'd been specifically told not to be overbearing. He'd give it another week. Surely after two weeks it wouldn't come off as controlling or something and he just wanted to find out how he was doing and if the candies and such were helping. He'd honestly been expecting to be called upon rather frequently considering the tongue lashing he'd gotten when the guy had first arrived, but the demands never came.
Half way into the second week, he got a text out of nowhere and he paused what he was doing to check it only for his heart to drop into his stomach. You have got to be kidding... He groaned and quickly composed a text message and sent it off then composed a second for the blond.
"I'm sweaty give me 15 minutes. If you don't care if I shower, then 5. Let me know which."
At almost the same time the text reached Bakugou's phone, the door to the frat was flung open and barely closed, but the wrong himbo had burst out of it. There was Kirishima looking somewhat panicked as he literally ran to reach his own car. He slowed a little in confusion upon seeing Bakugou parked out front, but he was in too much of a hurry to do more than wave 'hello' before getting into his car and driving off. Sure enough, in five minutes, the car was pulling right back into its space, and the amount of himbo that exited the car had doubled.
"Dude, I know, but I can't just make them go by themselves! I said I'd go and I'm gonna! Get off my ass about it!" Snapped the silverhaired hunk, slowly followed by an equally angry redheaded one.
"At least let me help you, dude! I'm worried about you!" Urged their mutual friend, honestly looking very distressed at this point.
"I AM letting you help! I called you to come get me didn't I? Seriously, there's nothing to help me with and I don't have anything else to share with you except their name and I'm not going to tell you that without them telling me it's okay!" He shot back as he rushed into the house to get ready as quickly as he could. He rushed through the frat, closely followed by his concerned friend as he snagged himself a change of clothes.
Clothes acquired, he managed to find a small moment of peace once he'd locked himself in the bathroom, throwing off his sweaty clothes and scrambling into the shower. He was sure he'd never showered as quickly as he had in that moment, just trying to get the sweat off of him so that he wouldn't smell in the doctor's office. He hadn't been working for too very long, but still! Now clean, he stumbled out of the tub and toweled himself and his hair dry.
Getting dressed, the chase picked right up where it left off as he rushed from the frat. It wasn't often that he got angry at his best friend, but he was starting to get frustrated at this point. "Ei, I will let you know how it goes when I get back, okay?"
It was then that Kirishima realized that not only was Bakugou STILL there, but Tetsu was definitely getting into his car. The exact moment he put it together could easily be seen by the way his eyes suddenly bugged in his shock. "You knocked up, Bakugou?!"
The silverhaired young man visibly flinched whipping around and grabbing the lower half of the other's face. "Keep. Your. Voice. Down! Goddanm you're an idiot... You know him?" He allowed his hand to be removed when it was tugged by the wrist so he could speak.
"Of course I do! Bakugou is my best friend!" Snapped the now betrayed looking redhead.
"Wait. He's that Bakugou?!"
"How many people have you even heard of with that surname?"
"......... I'm such an idiot... I... Look I gotta go! We'll talk when I get back, I promise! I'm sorry!" Reluctantly he was ending the conversation and hurrying over to sit in the passenger seat. "Drive... Just please, drive..." He murmured, his voice no longer having the volume or anger from before. He ran his hand through his hair with a groan. His life had just gotten leagues more complicated. "Fuck me... I knocked up my best friend's best friend. Ei's never gonna let me live this down..." He muttered to himself, closing his steely grey eyes. Taking a deep, calming breath, he didn't even open his eyes as he spoke again. "So... I assume we're going to the doctor? And how you feeling? Did the candies help?"
-----
'Shower. I don't want your fucking stink in my car. Appointment's in roughly an hour anyway.' While he wasn't in too much of a hurry, he really didn't want to stick around. When he heard the door open, he glanced over, though felt his face burn hot with embarrassment. Kirishima noticed him, of course he did. The fucking idiot always noticed him, was always so eager to hang out and spend time with him. He loved the idiot- platonically- but he did not want the other to find out. If he did... that would open a whole other can of worms he'd rather not deal with.
He already had to deal with one giant, friendly idiot, but to deal with two? He knows he'll feel suffocated and just lash out at the two. So he doesn't return the wave, instead sinking back in his seat and reaching to turn the music on while he waited.
When the other car had returned, he watched as the two rushed up toward the frat house. He should've figured the two were close friends, and he scowled to himself. If Tetsutetsu fucking blabbed, he wasn't sure how the hell he was going to react. He mostly felt hungry at the moment, having skipped breakfast again, though he had planned to grab some on the way to the doctor's, hence why he had left so early. That, and to pick the bumbling idiot up.
It seemed the two were arguing about.. something, he couldn't figure out what, and didn't really care what they were arguing about. Not until he heard Eijiro very clearly exclaim his name moments later when they'd both stepped outside. He cursed under his breath as he unlocks the doors and turns the music down, sitting up in his seat as Tetsutetsu gets in not too long after. He chooses to ignore him for a moment as he puts the car in drive and speeds off, gripping the wheel tight.
"You feel bad." He scoffed. "Just fucking wait until he gets on my ass for not telling him. He's been texting me a lot and I haven't messaged back, only because I don't know how the hell I'm gonna tell him. Guess I don't have to do that now." He frowned, glancing over before back at the road.
"Appointment's in about.. forty-five minutes now. Yes, the candies have helped. So much that I've bought two extra back-up bags." He stops at a light. "We're stopping to get breakfast, been wanting some donuts for some god damn reason." Really, he's been wanting all sorts of sweet things, and he's been avoiding the spicier dishes he liked, only because he worried something bad would happen. "This doctor takes my insurance so I won't have to pay more than a few ten-thousand yen, so I'll be able to pay it off on my own. You just.. have to be there for moral support and whatever."
He admits, he's nervous. He can't stop the way he's biting the inside of his cheek, brows knitted together. Then, after a moment,
"Text Ei and tell him we'll come grab him for lunch and sit down to talk about this shit since he'll probably be bursting with more questions when you get back."
-----
"You don't understand how much I fucked up! He has a...! Dammit!" He cut himself off before blurting information that wasn't his to share. "Nevermind... Sorry. Just... He means a lot to me. Like a whole lot and... Shit... I'm such a fuck up..." He needed to calm down. Freaking out wasn't going to help anything and there wasn't too much he could do about it right now anyway. After he got back he would sit down and talk with him as promised.
He finally opened his eyes, looking over when he started getting his answers. "Sure. Breakfast sound good. Glad the candies help, throwing up is the worst." He couldn't help the smile at the admission to wanting donuts so bad. So he was feeling cravings too. That was kind of cute. He wondered what sorts of things he was craving now... He figured it wouldn't make a difference as it seemed Bakugou wanted him involved minimally. Then again, with the discovery that Kirishima was a mutual friend and a close one at that, he wasn't sure if things would change.
"You, uh, sure? I mean, I'm not gonna stop you from paying for shit if you want to, but... Well, my family is pretty well off so..." He muttered a little awkwardly, not liking to talk about his father's money.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when urged to text the redhead and nods, pulling out his phone and sure enough doing as he was told. Welp, that talk was going to be a little different than he'd expected. He'd honestly thought he would be alone for that and that Bakugou would want to have a private talk later. The three of them talking made more sense to him, but he didn't know how the blond liked to approach things yet.
"I'm gonna tell him to pick where we go. I'll cover it." He added, feeling he should as he was the one that had suggested it and he was very familiar with the faux redhead's fondness for meat, particularly steak, in part because he shared that fondness.
-----
"I have enough savings from years of allowance and having a job during the time not at school. Just means I'll have to budget and shit like that." It would be a stretch, and doing this completely on his own would've made him have to save every last penny he could, but with help from the apparently-rich mountain of a dude in his car, things should be fine... Right?
While Tetsu messaged their friend, he kept his eyes on the road, falling silent for now. Its not more than ten minutes until he stops at a popular donut place, where he parks and shuts the car off. His lips pressed into a thin line as he stared toward the doors, before unlocking the car and unbuckling.
"You're coming in with me." He gets out of the car the next moment later and tucks his hands into the front pocket of the hoodie he wore, making his way toward the doors and letting himself in. The smell of fried dough and sugar filled his nose, and he can't help but make a beeline for the display case, bending some to look at each kind. He didn't know what he was specifically craving, but he knew he needed something.
Finally he opts for three donuts. A blueberry glazed, a strawberry jelly-filled, and a chocolate toothache of a donut. He's been wanting a donut all week, but he's kept himself from caving until now. He was nervous and needed to eat away his nerves. Eating would help him feel better, and while the morning sickness hasn't effected him today, he's been nervous to eat anything. Hopefully this wouldn't end up in chunks on the sidewalk.
He glances to the other.
"What do you want? I'm buying."
-----
The faux silver-haired man nodded and didn't push the subject forward. Honestly, though he felt pretty responsible for the whole thing, it made him happy that finding out he had a sizable income to pull from didn't have the blond automatically becoming a leech. Independence could be important for some people, but more to the point, he hated being taken advantage of. It would be a lie to say that the thought that Bakugou may have purposely gotten pregnant to get at his money hadn't crossed his mind. Thankfully, that didn't seem to be the case by how quick he insisted on covering a fairly sizeable amount of money.
He was happy that Katsuki seemed intent on working things out together too. Kirishima meant a lot to him and patching things up between the three of them was very important to him. Even if Bakugou chose to not raise the baby, this revelation that the two of them were both close with Kirishima did make things a touch more complicated as now there was a better chance that they would cross paths regularly.
He was a little surprised when specifically ordered to come inside with him, but sure enough, got out and fell into step with him. "I was going to." He couldn't help smirking down at the pretty blond then. "Were you thinking about leaving me in the car like some neglected pet?" He'd hoped not, though at least he could open the door if the car got too hot. Still, he now realized that even though he'd been invited to breakfast, Bakugou might not actually want to spend time with him. Considering he hadn't heard from him for a week and a half really should have made that worry stick better, but apparently, the thought still surprised him now that they were together.
He peered up at the menu then and glanced over the donuts as well. He blinked lightly when told he wouldn't be paying for either of them. Yeah... Definitely not in it for the money. He smiled, cheeks warming a little. Katsuki was being so nice! "Thanks, man. Uh... I'll have two sourdough breakfast sandwiches aaaand..." He looked back down at the donuts then, wondering if he should indulge. You didn't have a body like his by eating lots of sweets all the time, after all, but he also didn't want Katsuki to feel bad about his body for the same reason. "A jelly filled donut." He finally finished, looking a little sheepish as he hadn't been quite ready to order, even if he didn't take too very long figuring things out. He'd assumed he would have a little more time between with the cashier ringing up Bakugou first and then getting to him, but that wasn't the case.
He tensed a little as a stoney sort of thunk sounded from his phone, pulling it out even as it made the noise a second time. Both of them had the bad habit of multi-texting, but at least the text sound wasn't obnoxious. "Oof... Yeah, he's mad. He agreed though." He typed up a reply, not hesitating to take them to the restaurant he'd selected, knowing very well that his wallet would feel it later.
-----
"Don't." Katsuki rolled his eyes as he reached into his back pocket to tug out his wallet, digging through it as Tetsutetsu ordered his own food. When the big idiot had finished, Katsuki was moving past him to stand at the counter, ordering himself some green tea. He might as hell have something good for him, and green tea wouldn't upset his stomach or anything, as he had quickly learned. He pays while Tetsutetsu gets the message from Kirishima, and he can't help but glance over as he gets his change back. He's surprised he hasn't gotten a slew of messages from Kirishima yet himself, but he figures the guy would give him his turn or just ask a shit ton of questions at lunch. Just the thought made his stomach churn. Quietly giving a thanks to the cashier and taking the donuts, he lightly elbows the other to head aside so the next people can order.
"Well if he's got shit to say, then I just won't fuckin' talk to him." He mutters. "Either he fuckin' helps or hates." Deep down, he knew Kirishima wouldn't do something like that and instead would do everything in his power to do right by them, but there was the underlying fear. He hasn't had a legit friend like Kirishima since Deku, and even then he and the guy were on thin ice with one another. He hasn't told Deku about this shit, and didn't plan to. Not now, anyway. Maybe sometime in the future once he'd learned to comfortably talk about what happened or whatever. He doesn't know the scenario when he would tell Deku, but he didn't want anything to get worse if he did and Deku freaked out like Kirishima was now doing.
Without really realizing it, he's leaned himself into Tetsutetsu's side as he thought about shit that could happen, when he thought about what it would be like at the appointment. He's never been so damn nervous before, and he would have to take reoccurring trips a few times a month to keep a close eye on the pregnancy. He blinks when he notices the drink being placed on the counter in front of him, and he quickly straightens with a small flush, grabbing his drink as Tetsutetu's sandwiches were soon placed down as well. "C'mon." He grumbles, turning on his heel and hurrying toward the exit, pushing the door open and making his way to his car. There was just so much shit to think about, all he wanted was to shut himself away in his dorm and pretend everything was fine. He climbs into his car and pulls out a donut, immediately taking a huge bite out of it and glaring at the steering wheel. He couldn't believe he had to deal with all this shit, AND deal with school on top of it.
