Vampire Knight RP
So uh, it's been a year? Maybe? Idk tbh, but it's been ages.
And I'm back during my yearly 'tough times call for a binge watch of my favourite childhood anime' because I fucking love these characters. ABC3 anybody? no?
Look, we can all agree that Vampire Knight was bad. But I live and breathe for Matsuri Hino's beautiful manga and cry everyday about how badly the anime trashed it's western reputation and her art direction. But, I still love it even if it is garbage. But also on this particular rewatch I've noticed more than I did as a kid and even in the blurry years prior and uh? It's really good actually even if the art was butchered?
So, I want to write something about it. I'm pretty much open for anything, but I love the idea of a more modern AU- still having vampires and gothic architecture, but based more in bustling cities.
I really want to play Yuki, I know she gets a lot of flack for being dumb and boy crazy, but I always found her endearing and she makes lots of dumb mistakes, like people do. Idk, call me crazy but I really like all the characters in this.
I love the idea of her being in this cross academy setting, but the spell her mother cast begins to break much sooner. She's caught managing hallucinations at the worst times and trying to navigate what the hell's happening to her.
And eventually, she awakens.
Idk this idea is really half baked, but I'm open to suggestions and brainstorming or completely new ideas entirely, I just love VK and would love to write about it.
