Masami Chiba (AI)
Age: 22
Identity: Queer Transman
Job: Predominantly a defensive, infiltration/informant hero. Teaches at Shiketsu High on request. He teaches infiltration, emergency medical practice, and helps with search and rescue studies.

Quirk:Analysis; a mutant type quirk where his brain his hardwired similarly to a computer. He can process things several times faster than an average human, making him great in a defensive position. He has a very good memory when it's important, able to recall important conversations almost word for word, or take quick basic descriptions of surroundings or people. Matching names and info to faces as long as he's read them himself, reading and recognizing subtle things about people, etc. Similarly to a video game, with a bit of surveillance he can visualize something like a stat gauge for people to keep track of their stamina, strength, and health based solely on their reactions; heavy breathing, slower/weaker movement, etc. He can also recall a collection of data as if it were a file, with important conversations, details and mental notes about a person.

Drawbacks: His stat gauge can easily be tricked since it's all supplied by visual aid and interpreted through him. He becomes forgetful when it comes to things he considers unimportant, like deleting a memory into the recycling bin, that he has to comb through to find again later. With all the information in his head all the time, he can become overwhelmed and contract migraines from overworking, and visual fatigue.His red goggles help 'shut down' some of the processes, or rather they funnel them into the background. Similarly to computers, he can be “shut down” temporarily or even corrupted by electric/magnetic pulses. Depending on the size of the pulse it can be as little as blinking vision, confusion, and slower reaction speed, or it can be as bad as completely passing out for a few hours.

Abilities: Knows four languages including ASL, Japanese, English, and Italian. Is trained in mixed martial arts, and growing up in America he learned how to incorporate street fighting into his own style. Also surprisingly good at long range fighting with the right equipment.

Personality: While perceived as emotionless, and stoic; Masami is actually fairly protective, and easily flustered. He has trouble emoting when not putting on an act for work, however he's mastered the art of sarcasm. Can be fairly charming for work, however it exhausts him. He has a strong sense of justice but a morally gray idea of how to get there. Strongly supports the idea of vigilantes, believing the restriction on who can help and when is silly, that anyone who has the will and ability to become a hero, should. While the press usually overlook him, as an underground hero, when they do approach him unexpectedly, he goes completely silent and stiff with anxiety. Neurospicy. Doesn't always understand social cues.

Physical Description/Art: He stands at an even 5'5". Grey-blue hair that fades to off white and sits in a "jelly fish" haircut with a side part. His skin is a neutral gray with faint hints of red under the surface. His sclera are pitch black, his pupils a vibrant green and he usually wears red bubble goggles when not working. He has an androgynous figure and face, though lean strong muscles and a defined jawline. When it comes to beneath the clothes, he has a very light fish-mouth top surgery scar across his pecs, and metoidioplasty without Scrotoplasty or vaginectomy.


History:
Masami is half Japanese and was raised in America through most of his life. He traveled to Japan to attend Shiketsu High School like his father. He lived alone and after finishing school, decided to stay in Japan to teach and offer assistance to the heroes there.

Seiko Tanaka (undecided hero name)

Identity: Pansexual Femme NB (AFAB)
Job: Hero Course Student, Part Time Tutor.

Quirk: Astral Projection; While she falls asleep, she creates a second transparent body of dim light that vaguely resembles her own. With it she can travel far distances, move through solid objects and walls (with limitations) as well as hover and interact with objects and people as she would her normal body. Physical attacks do not work on her spectral body, but do cause her pain. She has learned to fight alongside her sleeping body, though she needs to have sight of her body to direct her movements accurately.

Drawbacks: She cannot move through any surface that is thicker than her height, she will be pushed back out. She cannot hide inside a completely solid object, she will be pushed back out. Her spectral body can still receive damage and affect her physical body when it comes to certain quirks like mind control, electricity, etc. She can not speak in her spectral form, and her body can only form short sentences while asleep. Her spectral body does not give her any increase in strength beyond what her body can do. She does, however, no longer need to wear glasses in her spectral form.

Personality: She very much is a workaholic, spending her time either studying, working out, or improving herself somehow. She's an only child with only her father after her mother left them when she was young. She has a natural need to coddle and look after people because of her upbringing. And so her drive to become a hero is not only to not become a burden on her father, but to protect and care for others down on their luck. Because of the preconceived notion that she is nothing but dead weight, she constantly strives to try to improve herself and her quirk any way she can.

Physical Description/Art: Seiko has shaggy beach blond hair to her shoulders with side swept bangs and violet eyes that constantly have circles around them. She wears circle framed glasses when she’s not in costume and usually dresses for comfort over fashion. She has a little birthmark under her right eye. Her hero costume is a purple jumpsuit with goggles that resembles a sleeping mask, meant to keep out light when her eyes are closed to help keep her asleep(they blink with her). She has boots that are meant to help with impact so she could jump from high places without risking injury, gloves and elbow pads.

Quirk: Blood Manipulation/Solidification. He can produce blood from several places on his body (including his eyes, like a horned lizard) and can solidify it into a hard crystal-like structure. He uses this power to produce sheets of blood across his body like plate armor, create weapons including projectiles, and trap criminals. He can also manipulate any other blood as long as he ingests some of that particular person's blood within the past few hours, and it is making contact with air. As long as he solidifies blood, he can reshape and reuse it as long as it isn’t destroyed. He can also use it to clot/scab over exposed injuries.

Drawbacks: Using too much blood can put him into anemic shock. He has to consume a high protein-iron rich diet, and eat a lot of it to make sure he is alright. His blood crystal creations are weak to extreme temperatures, becoming flakey and brittle or flexible and unmanageable. Projecting blood straight from his body requires more energy and tires him out quicker. He can only control blood that is not his own if it's touched air and he has consumed more than one drop of it, meaning he cannot pull more blood than what is already being produced.

Prompt:
So I've been sitting on this idea for a while and I was tied between posting this or an angst prompt and fate chose this one via coin flip.

Eijiro is a gentle dragon shifter, a hybrid of his two mothers, one dragon and one human. His dragon mother was killed shortly after his birth which was hid from the rest of the village. They up and moved once Eijiro was big enough to walk on his own, to a village no one knew his mom and they settled on the outskirts where they worked the fields. Only as Eijiro got older his dragonoid features got harder to hide. The tiny wings they had thought to be vestigial began to grow and spread out wide past his shoulders, even taking on a new hue of bright red in his pubescence. His hair that was black and shrouded two tiny bulbs under his skin began to brighten to a vibrant red, and the bulbs grew into spikes that blended up from tanned skin into crimson peaks. Far more concerning, he became far too large for his age, barely fitting into the small basement that had become his bedroom. Eijiro could no longer go outside during the day, and he couldn't hide as easily as his black scales changed hues to that brilliant red. His dragon form that had started out so small, barely bigger than a newborn, had also grown with the years to the point he easily towered over the barn.



I basically want someone to come in and shake up this mamas boy's stagnant and isolated life. Maybe a prince seeking shelter during an uprising, a farm hand that his mom decided to hire that he finds himself watching from the shadows when he should be sleeping during the day, or maybe an old playmate come to visit and ask about Eijiro after years of being gone. Hell, maybe y/c is a supernatural that was seeking shelter, or food, and they start off in a rocky situation with the dragon protecting his sweet mama. Honestly I'm up for any ideas! The starter is mostly just an example but if you think you can work with it, awesome! I can edit a bit to fit our needs or rewrite whatever when he time comes.

Starter:

A light knock sounded through the dark basement, a gentle voice pulling the beast from it's slumber, incoherent mumbling returning it in earnest. It took him a few minutes, but the candle light guided him out from bed to start his day. The padded down mass of quilts and batting give under his weight and barely spring back up when it's lifted to follow up the stairs. A familiar challenge, but a hand guides him to duck under the doorway, his small mom tugging him along by the arm to a full table of a modest dinner. This was routine, she would wake him up for dinner and after they would tend to the livestock before he would eventually send his mom off to bed, and come morning he would return the favor with a lovely breakfast for them to share.

He sat beside her with a soft, tired smile as he thanked her for the meal, so lovingly prepared with the fish he'd catch and meat he hunted or they harvested from the farm. The old chair wheezed under his weight and his thighs brushed the top of the table as he scooted closer, but it was times like this that made Eijiro feel the most human. Not like when he'd watch the villagers in the distance through the window, or the people in fancy carriages ride past their small home on the road. Like a monster locked up in the darkness. No, it was the way she scolded him for talking with his mouth full, or reached up to wipe his face clean that he felt like he belonged.

The nights after those moments were lonely, donned in a cloak with his calling crystal, he stalked out into the night alone to hunt, fish, and check on the farm throughout the night. It had become so common place for the sheep and chickens to see reflective red eyes paired with a hulking figure peer in at them that it no longer startled them. At least, not as bad. They recognized Eijiro's large figure as a gentle one that fed, pet, and sheered them free of their coats when they became to bulky or took away the eggs that would never come to hatch. They were nice company for what it was, when they were up, but they weren't much for conversation.

Perhaps that's why Eijiro began to talk to himself, half way between the language his mom taught him and the draconic he'd learned from the books left behind for him by his mother. It was good practice, though maybe not the most sane thing to do, but beyond the odd look from an owl, coyote, or other night animal, it wasn't a problem. He could hear for yards around him; every crunch of leaves, ripple of river water that passed by the farm and into the village, and every unnerving tear of meat when he'd happen upon a hunt. In contrast, out there was where he felt more monstrous than ever. He wasn't human enough to walk with his mom in the streets of the village, and he wasn't wild enough to hunt like a dragon would. He could track, he could chase, but instincts didn't come, well, instinctually.

Without his mother, he also had no one to teach him to hunt or accept the animalistic side that would occasionally crop up. One being the lick he gave his finger as skin split open from a slip of a knife, or the lick of his chops at the sight of a downed deer. The guilt gripped him before he quickly ended it's life, knelt down beside the trap to release it from the dirt, and easily lifted the catch over his shoulder to bring it home and process it. He spaced out his hunts for the sake of not over hunting, but it was routine. The same old same old, even as he let his mind wander on his way back, dreams of adventures and treasures to shower his mom with.

Prompt:
So I had a prompt a long time ago that got purged, and now I want another zombie prompt, so I'm going to post them both in one since the new request is a crackship (Croroxy) and I doubt I'll get takers.
As a note: I don't mind humanstuck/species swap, don't mind gender headcanons/preferences. Originally this was all Humanstuck so thats just how I'm proceeding for now. Things don't have to get sexual, and not immediately.

Basically the world has fallen into your run of the mill zombie apocalypse, no super strong ones but some *can* run if they're fresh. Karkat, Kankri, and their father Carmine live smack dab in the city with Kankri working from home and Karkat living down the street in a shared apartment with his roommate Gamzee. Carmine is a retired veteran medic with a prosthetic leg from the war and Kankri has chronic fatigue from depression. With Karkat, they surprisingly they make a good team and survive well for a few months without incident. The dead are still populating the city but there is a settlement with jeeps that ride through to lure the dead and cut down their numbers. Carmine got caught up by the dead because of the jeeps and was bit. (Optionally: Karkat and Kankri have locked him in his room because neither of them can finish him off.) They have a roof top garden with a meager water collector and *one* solar panel they managed to snag from someone else's roof. Karkat does most of the runs alone, but Kankri spots him from the roof when he can.

The starter originally started with Karkat either going into the mall, or walking alleys leading up to the mall, but I think we can figure something better out so I don't shoe-horn y/c(s) into a role. They can be anything from someone further into the city, someone from a different city altogether, maybe someone from the settlement, or a friend that got lost somewhere along the way that they believed to be dead. Sky's the limit. Now for Roxy-

Roxy definitely took over the mall. With physical shopping malls slowly dying in this day an age, she probably locked that shit down quickly after the start. Looped through it to lead out zombies, then came back in the back way. Cut off different stores and difficult to protect entry points. Hacker boy definitely rigged up some solar panels and cracked into the basement to get full control over the mall. Cue y/c(s) rolling up to find the mall still has power that can be used from plug-ins outside, and sees this femboy through an upper window in a petticoat, combat boots, carrying a riffle and a handgun.

I would adore any and all Amporas, that said I will take anyone I tagged. If you want to rp multiple characters, awesome! If you only want to rp one, Awesome! I can also rp only one if you want the rp to be more one-on-one! Karkat or Kankri alone? Carmine having lost his kids? Unexpected Vantas-Lalonde team up? I'm all for it!
