"It is of the utmost importance that we capture Tomura Shigaraki here," the Commission agent explained to Ochaco, pacing back and forth in the room they'd dragged the Zero Gravity Hero into. "You have the best chance at disorienting and apprehending him with your Zero Gravity and your combat training. He may also underestimate you, which has proven to give you an advantage against other villains in the past."
Ochaco noddeat the instructions, mostly understanding their reasonings now. But this whole mission... it didn't sit right with her. Not exactly.
The young woman was only 21 and not even that well known of a hero, Uravity still a small name that only a few people really knew and supported. Yet, the Hero Commission had personally reached out to her to request her assistance in apprehending the League of Villains after the Kamino Ward Incident. They insisted that they needed to tamp down on this issue as fast as possible- which was something the brunette wholeheartedly agreed with. But it was the fact that they had assigned her to directly take on the leader of the group was what confused her greatly. She had imagined that the task of arresting Shigaraki would have been left to the higher-ranking heroes; Hawks or Endeavor or literally anyone stronger than her.
But here she was, carefully perched atop a roof while she waited for the man to come into sight, the Commision's words playing over and over in her mind. She had to capture him here. There was no room for error. After all, if she couldn't catch him, it meant that whatever grand plan he was working on could still move forward. No one wanted that. She shifted uncomfortably in her spot, letting out a breath as she pressed a hand to her forehead. She had been feeling... off, all day. She was worried that she was coming down with something.
She couldn't think about that for very long, her eyes locking onto a wiry man making his way through the crowd in a black hoodie. She leaned over the edge carefully, eyeing him. The way his hand disappeared beneath the hood against his neck, the tuft of light-blue hair- that had to be him. She was certain of it. And if their intel was right... Yes! He was heading down this way! She jumped off the edge of the roof, activating her quirk on herself as she neared the ground to slow her descent to land softly!
"Stop right there, Shigaraki!" she called out, pointing at him. "You're coming with me!" She had hoped to force the villain into a fight or inspire him to take off deeper into the alleyway, knowing she could force him into one of the dead ends. Thankfull for her, he took the second option. He was quick for a man thinner than a rail but she was too, keeping up easily with him. She kept him from moving off the desired path by launching different pieces of refuse and junk that had been left in the alleyways, nearly nailing him once or twice as she did.
All the while she could feel that not-quite-right feeling creeping up on her, the hero doing her best to ignore it. She breathed in through her nose and out through her mouth, determined to complete her mission before holing herself in her apartment. It was just as she had forced him into the deadend that she smelled it- No, smelled him. Rain and... ozone? Almost like a surge of electricity had arched between them. She pressed the back of her hand to her nose, gasping as she realized what the strange heat washing over her was.
"N-No-! That-- It isn't possible!" she murmured to herself, pressing her thighs together. She was no where near her heat in her cycle! She knew that! It was a requirement of her as an Omega and a hero that she had to be absolutely on top of how her cycle tracked and kept it under control. She squeezed one eye shut, her face flushing as this strange heat hit her- and it hit her hard.
