“A villain’s quirk! You’ll be nothing more than a boy with a heinous curse!” Unbeknownst to the little violet-haired boy those were the last words he would hear from his mother. She was being taken away by the state for observation after.. the incident. The small boy, of about 6, sat in the back of an ambulance, holding gauze over the large gash that covered his entire right cheek, slashing his lips and down to his chin. The bleeding hadn’t stopped but it was getting better, besides the nice man in a black coat assured him he was going to go somewhere /very/ fun soon.
Small bare feet kicked rhythmically while he waited for the paramedics to finish stitching. It hurt but Hitoshi was more focused on a small black kitten he could see poorly hiding in a bush across from where the ambulance stood in his drive way. “Kitten..!” He said excitedly.. only he had forgotten one important detail. He wasn’t supposed to be talking. Sharp pain made him cry out as the salty sweet tastes of blood lit up his tastebuds. “God damnit, kid, I said don’t fucking speak.. what are you, slow?” The paramedics voice rang in Hitoshi’s head triggering memories of his father that was luckily out of the kid’s life, but it didn’t stop the poor boy from shivering and staying absolutely still for the remainder of care. Soon after the grumpy paramedic was done and shooing the child away from him, little Hitoshi was at the side of the detective that was supposed to take him “somewhere fun”. While the ambulance drove away, Hitoshi crouched to try and get a better view of the kitten, only for him to be yanked back to his feet. “C’mon, boy, we have to go.” Before he knew it he was being shoved into the back of a cop car, no one bothering to even fasten his seat belt, which was fine since Hitoshi wanted to look out the back window to try and get one last look at the small kitten.
“Somewhere fun” had turned out to be foster care. Slashing your son across the face with a kitchen knife was a good way to get yourself committed for life, which could be seen as a blessing for Hitoshi if he didn’t end up in the care of the Sato’s after two years of hopping from foster home to foster home.
Since coming to the Sato’s at age 8, Hitoshi spent every waking moment outside of school in misery. The Sato’s—loving father, mother, and daughter—must have seen fostering as the perfect opportunity for free child labor and to.. well.. satisfy Mr. Sato’s urges. The once bright, shy, giddy little boy was now a tired, depressed, insomniac teen with a death glare that could frighten even All Might himself.
When Hitoshi was informed that he had gotten into UA, one of the best high schools for Heroes, there was a spark in his eye that his sister, Ayumi hadn’t seen in years. She loved Heroes but didn’t have much of a quirk to work with even for a support class so she never pursued hero work. Which was all fine by Hitoshi, he vowed to be strong enough to protect both of them so she needn’t worry.
Upon entering UA, the violet haired boy was struck with a severe case of fanboy as his teacher was none other than the Hero in the Shadow’s Eraserhead. They became close almost immediately, Aizawa sensei taking a liking to the boys determination despite his quirk not exactly being built for combat, and when the exhausted teacher offered to train Hitoshi one on one the boy thought his luck had turned for the better, finally. Finally he had something to look forward to… something to keep him out of the house until Mr. Sato was fast asleep.
Things were great, he even made friends with two rather annoying blonds and a big red-head sunflower. Hitoshi saw his dream of becoming a pro hero within his sights, he worked hard in his training and even ranked 3rd place in the Sports Festival, something he had never thought possible. Not with a villain’s quirk. To his surprise when he arrived home after training, Ayumi had a cake and decorations set up for him in celebration. A huge smile broke past his lips as he immediately ran up to her, holding her close. This was love, this is what it felt like.
As the saying goes things really were just too good to be true. Only seconds after Hitoshi had grabbed a knife to cut the cake Mr. Sato barged through the door cursing and screaming in a drunken stupor. His eyes, black as a starless nights sky, honed in on Hitoshi’s cake. He demanded to know what was going on, and when neither of the sibling responded he threw the contents of the table to the floor. Cake, water, plates, napkins, confetti all wasted.. all trashed because the /boy/ wasn’t worthy. Wasn’t going to be a hero, what the hell was he thinking. Hitoshi kept his head down, tears brimming his purple eyes, a shiver coursing through his nerves as his foster father approached him. Mr. Sato’s hand grabbed the boy, tugging his head up to stare into the darkness of his eyes. At that point the teen knew exactly what was going to happen.. and he wasn’t about to let it. A coldness veiled his face, the look that would stay etched on his face to this day and for once he didn’t fight being thrown to the floor while Mr. Sato prepared for business. No, instead he asked one simple question “Why can’t I be enough for you?” A cocky, slurred response was all he needed to activate his quirk and doing exactly what he had dreamed of all these years. Mr. Sato was gone, finally, slit his own neck with a kitchen knife. Damn, that must’ve hurt.
Mind control was a very useful quirk, one that Hitoshi rarely used outside of spar at UA, one he refused to use after the incident with his mom all those years ago. He sat in a pool of blood with an emotionless expression, Ayumi screaming and crying in the distance, sirens blaring. Victory. He had won.
So how did a young, promising hero like Hitoshi end up here? In a cell of his own design standing over a young girl in chains. Well.. apparently killing your foster father in self defense using your quirk wasn’t ethical. No matter what Hitoshi—no—Shinsou said to plead his case he was going to jail. He had /killed/ someone. Someone who beat, raped, and tortured him since he was 8 years old but at least he did the bare minimum right? He kept a roof over his head, food in his belly. Shinsou should’ve been grateful. Shouldn’t have killed him, could’ve detained him, could’ve waited for the authorities, the /Heroes/ to handle it.
So, instead of spending the remainder of his days incarcerated he did the next best thing. He disappeared. Something he found he was really good at.
“Let’s try this again, Babydoll.” A thud rang in the room as he sat sat down in the chair across from his captive. “Join me, won’t you?”

Re: Join me, Babydoll [V!Shinsou x OC Tsukiko]
Tsukiko had always been pretty lucky. She was born to two loving parents; one of them a former hero. His Hero name had been Savanah, after the grass of his homeland, though he had never set foot there. He was a bipedal lion, similar to how Gang Orca was a human sized orca. He ended up marrying a woman with a mutation quirk that gave her the abilities of a cat, complete with ears and tail. Which resulted in the perfect mixture for their daughter.
Gaining her mothers looks and quirk, the lion in her just served as an enhancer to what was already there. So she was stronger than the average person as well, though definitely not super human level, just enough to give someone pause; especially since she was so small in stature. And she was raised on stories of her dad's hero days. She wanted to be just like him.
And thanks to the love and supportof her family, she was able to keep up the rigorous training that hero work required, and got into Shiketsu; her dad's old school. And she was pretty good at what she did, though her quirk was more suited to rescues. She was probably never going to be in the top ten (when was the last time a *rescue* hero made it in the top ten?) But she didn't really care about that. She just wanted to help people.
Her morning started out like any other morning: she woke up, took a shower, brushed her teeth, and got ready for school; carefullymaking sure her ears slipped through the holes in her hat. She had been glad that they had been accomodating about that. The commute to school was uneventful, the school day was the same. Everything seemed... well, normal.
Which was why they were able to get the jump on her after school. Her dad had never been a high ranking Hero, so in all her 17 years, she had never needed to watch out for kidnappings like more affluent children of Heroes did. She was grabbed on her way home, before she had even made it to the train. She immediately jabbed her elbow into their ribs, but it was like hitting a brick wall. They didn't even grunt. That was all she was able to attempt before her assailant knocked her out.
When she came to, she was in an unfamiliar room. It was pretty bare... the walls were a plain white. A bed and a coffee table with a couple of chairs was pretty much all that was in here. Across the room was a doorway (no door) that appeared to lead to a bathroom. She was currently lying on the bed. There was a blanket and a pillow, though the blanket was pretty thin, and a little scratchy. She sat up, and heard the clinking of chains.
Chains?
And that was when she noticed the manacles around her wrists. Following the chain with her eyes, she saw the other end was attached to the wall. She stood up to go inspect it, and noticed something else: she wasn't in her school uniform anymore... she was wearing a plain black t-shirt and it was tucked into a purple plaid skirt, and knee high socks, also black. Someone had changed her? The thought of some stranger touching her body while she was naked made her shudder.
But now wasn'tthe time for that. Resuming her originalplan, Tsukiko walked over to the wall where the chains were attached. They were held onto the wall by two separate slabs of metal. It looked pretty thin... one good yank with her augmented strength might tear it from the wall. But that would only work once. She'd have to wait for the perfect time to attempt it...
That night, (at least she assumed it was night), a man came to her, and asked her to join his cause. She had bee. So overcome by rage, that she had lunged at him without thinking, but the chains stopped her just short. He left shortly after, saying something about talking to her again when she had calmed down.
And that brought her to the present. She had eventually just sat back down on the bed, and pulled her knees to her chest. She had already tested the length of the chain. She could reach everything in the bathroom, but not the door the man had entered in.
He must have deemed that she was now 'calm', as he pulled up a chair, and sat down in front of her. She didn't look up as he did this.
"Join me, won't you?"
She looked up at him then, eyes the color of molten gold.
"Go fuck yourself."

Re: Cat's in the Bag [V!Shinsou x OC Tsukiko]
There wasn't much that pissed Shinsou off these days, given his innate ability to pretty much get whatever he wanted coupled with the fact that, well, no one really challenged the illusive villain. Today, however, he sat across a pretty little thing that thought testing his patience was a good plan. Spoiler alert, it wasn't. He sat quiet for a moment, pondering his next move. His blood began to boil at her constant denial of him, though could she really be blamed? He had indeed kidnapped her off the street.
Shinsou could very well keep her chained up here with very little food and drink for as long as it'd take to make her complacent but what would be the fun in that? An unpleasant sound echoes through the room as the chair he sat on scrapped against the concrete floor indicating that he stood up. He approached her swiftly, grabbing her by the hair on the top of her head, pulling her face up to meet his violet eyes. "Why would I do that when I have such a pretty thing in front of me."
