Faster than light travel always came with its risks, particularly when it had been new. For their race, it was now a tried and true method, but the odd accident did happen on the rare occasion. There was always the tiniest risk involved, so tiny that you never thought it would happen to you. It happened. The universe was in constant motion, constantly changing and shifting and while the computers were highly accurate, they weren't perfect. Something had been there that shouldn't have been and ever so lightly clipped their ship's wing. At this speed, that was more than enough to be nothing short of catastrophic.

They were all shocked out of stasis, disoriented, and flooded with adrenaline at the sight of flashing warning lights and blaring alarms. Bakugou had done his best, he really had... Their ship had been knocked out of light speed and he scrambled to get them slowed down and stabilized, but with the way they were tumbling end over end, it was virtually impossible. They were careening straight for a planet and he had to straighten them out before they crashed as it was highly unlikely the miracle of them surviving would happen twice in a row. What he couldn't manage in space, he finally pulled once they broke atmosphere.

With the addition of friction and gravity, he finally got them out of a spin, but the strain of re-entry without proper prep or decent was too much. The damaged wing was ripped clean off and what control he'd regain was lost once again. They were now at the mercy of fate. They scrambled to strap in, uttering tense and frightened affection as the ground and what was very possibly death rush up at them. Somehow, they still had a touch of luck on their side, but not much... They slam into the surface of a lake, tumbling and skipping along its surface. Though the first contact with the water was devastating, skipping along on its surface did help to slow them down. It didn't take long for them to run out of lake, however, and soon they were slamming through trees that ripped away at the damaged hull of their ship till the vessel slammed to a stop against a cliff-face.

None of them were still in their seats by the end. Not all of them were even still inside the ship for that matter! Tetsutetsu groaned as his skin lost its metallic sheen and regained is fleshy appearance, slowly lifting himself up off the wall of their mangled ship as it no longer sat level. A groan caught his attention and drew him over, lifting a collapsed panel to allow his trapped alpha to drag himself out from under it. A quick look around revealed they were the only two that remained inside so they made their way out of a gaping hole in the hull to search outside for their missing packmates. The next they found was Kirishima, the redhead battered and with a weeping gash above his right eye, but it seemed his own hardening had kept him safe. The three were quick to continue their search for their last member.

Ashido had also been ejected, her lighter frame launched further than their sturdy red-themed companion. The moment Eijirou started to wail, the other two knew he'd found her, the dread already settled heavily in their stomachs spiking up as they all rushed forward. There she was, crumpled on the ground, covered in lacerations, but even the severity of her gaping wounds seemed trivial compared to the state of her abdomen. It had been utterly ravaged by the trees she'd been sent flying through. Her innards lay half outside her body, pretty pink skin and earth soaked equally scarlet. If that weren't horrifying enough, her organs hadn't been spared, made obvious by several deep almost purple spheres laying on the ground next to her, half-formed embryos curled up at their centers.

They were at her side the next moment one sorrowful wail joined by a second while their alpha struggled to get her insides back where they should be. Even as he worked, he had to struggle against her as she weakly attempted to curl up around the exposed eggs protectively, regardless if the eggs were whole or ruptured. She always had been an excellent mother... He had to save her. He had to! But... How do you even stop a wound this large from bleeding, not to mention all the internal damage? Honestly, it was a miracle she wasn't already dead.

It wasn't often Izuku left the city for work, but when he did, he made a valiant attempt at making his base in a nice bed and breakfast, or even camping, so he could enjoy a little bit of nature, get some fresh air. He was a Novice hero, freshly graduated from UA, and had his first proper Hero Liscense. Of course, that meant he was very much a rookie-- and that came with just enough pay to pay rent, do bills, or get groceries, not all three, at times. He was lucky, with his mentor helping him out, assuring that he wouldn't fail before he had a chance to start. Hopefully, he won't have to depend upon All Might for too long!!

Izuku had been putting his fire out at his site when he had heard the tell-tale sounds of an incoming cosmic mass piercing their strato and atmosphere, only to careen into, along and off the lake, through trees and eventually crash into something solid far off on the opposite side of his lake. Without hesitation, Izuku had literally leapt to action, not bothering to bring more than his first aid kit and GPS, should he need to call backup. However, what he had found at the crash sight was heart-rending-- there was a trio hovering around a fourth, who at first glance seemed in critical condition.

However, when he was close, walking fast towards the small group, his face drained of color as he saw the damage done to the poor woman curled up on the ground. "O-oh God-- h-hey, do you know her blood type? Allergies, any medications she's on??" He asked, voice cracking as his eyes glossed with tears. There was so much blood, her innards were spilling out, and there were amphibious eggs barely kept close to where her damaged womb was. He hit a single button, sending his location to a few of his classmates and trusted pros for backup with the tag 'Medical Emergency: Critical. 3+ Wounded.' He pulled out sterile gauze from his bag, and once allowed close to the woman, he grimaced as he tried to figure out the best way to handle this. "Y-you--" he looked to the more acrobatically built alien, "P-put pressure here--" He motioned to the blonde to put pressure on the woman's abdomen in the Hope's to.stop the bleeding, before looking to the eggs, deeply stressed. "I-is there a way to save those? Any jars? Incubators?" He asked of the larger two, wholly unaware that there was a deep, deep language barrier. He pulled out more gauze for the woman's abdomen, tearing up as with each passing second, he couldn't keep his hopes up for a more like this. Even most of the eggs were damaged, and those that were still whole were underdeveloped, probably needed special care, if they had a chance of hatching later on.

He looked to the woman, and gently cupped her cheek as tears began to roll down his cheeks, "H-Hey, help is coming-- please, p-please hold on, okay? We'll get you help--" he choked on a sob, hating how pale the poor thing felt. Even for a potential amphibious mutation quirk, he knew damn well there was not enough warmth in the other's skin signaling a low, low chance of survival. "Please, h-hold on for us-- for your eggs, please!!" Izuku begged, hoping beyond hope for the chance this poor woman could be saved. He could only imagine the agony she felt, both physical and emotional.

Three lights were closing in on their location at a fast pace, but not enough.

It wasn't going to be fast enough.

There was so much blood, hot and slick over his dexterous hands as he worked. Only stopping when the distressed sounds coming from Tetsutetsu suddenly switched to a warning growl, followed shortly after by Kirishima's more broken up one. He looked over only to find they had a visitor. They were wearing clothes so they must have some level of intelligence. His betas grew out their claws and did their best to look as imposing as possible, Bakugou flaring his wings to make himself look bigger as he added his own vicious snarl to their own. Then he saw it, the alien was pulling something out of his bag and his growling died as he looked at it. Were those some kind of bandages...?

"Fre'sla harl! nindyn lor saph klezn aturr ulu o'goth. Ori'gato nind au. Dorn glit'r doeb nind rinteith usstan ka nind jivviim ilta. Jivviim ilta lueth dos el, e'trit..." The final thing said was uttered as he made eye contact with the greenette, the threat incredibly obvious just based on his posture and tone alone. He remained right there by her side as the two mammoth creatures quieted, though didn't stop growling entirely, sticking protectively close to their downed mate. Thankfully, he was given the room to work, even if they remained very close. It wasn't hard to tell that they would come to her aid if he hurt her so it was best to move with care to work on the gutted pink girl. Unfortunately, his questions got no answers and the language that had been spoken sounded nothing like Japanese.

When the fluffy-haired blond was given instruction, he proved himself quite intelligent. Based on motions and context, he was able to do as he was told and help as best he could with staunching the blood. It wasn't working... The wound was simply too large and blood continued to freely bubble up past his palm and fingers. All the same, he refused to simply give up.

The two larger members of the pack seemed to realize they were being spoken to, but clearly didn't understand and made no move to touch anything. With that said, while the silver and teal one remained on guard, the red and black one moved closer, his growling finally dying down. He laid his bulk down on the ground, letting loose a sorrowful whine before speaking. "Qualla. Xuat sevir udossa? Xuat sevir uns'aa! dos phuul ji farjali ulu uns'aa. Zexen'uma xuil udossa, mina. Zexen'uma..."

The poor thing was barely there looking up at the human as he touched her cheek and spoke to her. She smiled weakly to him before her golden glowing eyes turned towards the beta next to her. She cooed to him softly, the too wet quality canceling out what would be a soothing gesture. "Udos'll thalra sohna. Udossta vesdrac phu' bryklyth phor lueth orn neitar tlu sekene harventhus. Tlu bwael ulu weth byr. Ssinssrigg lueth mumbaro pholor ul'naus. Usstan ssinssrigg dos. Usstan ssinssrigg dos jal... Ji ves mzilt... Goros udossta vesdrac h'uena sohna thalra..." With each new word her strength seemed to fade, her eyes growing more and more unfocused. As her words grew quiet and trailed off into silence, the glow in her pretty gold eyes finally faded, growing dull and lifeless.

"Nau... Nau, Mina! Mina doer rath! Xuat sevir uns'aa! Mina! MINA!!" The poor red creature lost what little composure it had, sobbing uncontrollably as he nuzzled the girl's cheek and hair as if the affection would bring her back. The hulking grey beta joined him in his tears, though quietly, punching the ground harshly in his frustration. The smaller, more athletic-looking member of their pack stared at his mate's lifeless face with wide, shocked eyes, all four glowing moving to the wound he was still pressing against before slowly letting go. He stared at his bloodied hands in shocked incomprehension, completely silent tears trickling freely down his face. There may be a language barrier, but it wasn't hard to tell how each felt, even something as nuanced as the black and orange one's guilt. For whatever reason, he seemed to be blaming himself.

When the others spoke in tongues unfamiliar, dread filled his heart. How would he be able to help if he couldn't share understanding? However, the poor woman's words came with a bittersweetness, only for the light to fade from formerly pretty eyes, followed by a broken trio, mourning in their own ways. Two were quiet, while the black and red creature sobbed, pleaded it seemed, though the additional emotions were different. Loss and love, loss and anger, and loss tinted with guilt in the smallest of the trio. Izuku was speechless as he wept alongside them, at a loss what he could do now. Was he far too late? What could he even do now? He was just a human, without any gifts that could undo this tragedy in any way.

However, as he saw the eggs once more, an idea came to mind. He dug into his bad-- he'll clean up the blood later-- and brought out a large water bottle, before looking to the smallest one, who seemed the most broken about the female in a potentially siring sense. "H-hey?" He barely choked out, before gesturing to the bottle, then the eggs. "W-we can save them, right?" He asked hopefully, before thinking more. He pointed to the bottle again, but made 'but bigger' gestures at it, then the eggs, then a similar 'but bigger' gesture, paired with a cradling motion. 'Can we incubate the eggs, help them grow?' God knows if they would understand at least that-- though, he was scared there would be further tragedy, that the eggs were still too small to be saved with what they may have.

The thought of burying or sending the remains off in a proper funeral tradition hurt enough as is, but losing those potential little lives, what remained of this poor woman hurt even worse. These poor souls may not be able to cherish anything she can left behind beyond memories. The lights on his GPS were closing in faster still, though it will all be too late. The best the backup would be capable of helping with was first aid for the survivors, putting out fires and potentially helping with whatever mourning ceremony these survivors had.

The alpha looked over when addressed, glowing eyes following the gestures. It took a moment, but he put together what the intended message was. This alien was still attempting to help them. He looked down at the eggs on the ground, gently picking up one of the unruptured ones. From his belt, he pulled out a small device, revealing it to be a flashlight when he shown light through the deep purple surface. Inside, a tiny being was clearly visible, though it was motionless. So very small... He set this egg by the broken ones, hesitated for a moment then gently slipped his hand inside his dead mate as if she were still capable of being hurt. He pulled out a new egg, this one directly from her womb and repeated the process.

He frowned deeply, setting that egg down next to the others. That one had more movement, but he didn't know what he expected. They were still so very small... They had been heading back because she'd recently started showing. It was still far too early in the pregnancy. The flashlight was returned to a pouch on his belt before he was reaching back to pull free the tie that kept his long, feathery antennae. With nothing in the way of warning, the lithe creature stood, revealing himself to be a rather impending height. Goodness, he was tall... And his companions looked significantly larger no less. He closed the distance between them quickly unintentionally aggressive in his frustration. The antennae whipped forward, snatching up the other's head wrapping around it till their foreheads thunked rather painfully together. Izuku would be able to feel a tingling sensation along his head and even inside it as the alien glared at him, keeping still and otherwise not touching him.

After a moment, he was released from the black and orange fringed sensory organs and the other straightened and returned to the corpse, gently starting to gather up his mate's innards to place them back inside. She may be dead, but he didn't like seeing her like this. "They're too young. They won't survive without her." The rumble of the alien's voice suddenly came in Japanese. Once her insides were situated again, he didn't protest when his red companion gently scooped up the lip girl, cradling her against his chest, uncaring of the blood seeping into his clothes. With a sigh, the alpha set to gathering up all the eggs that were on the ground, broken or no. "Tetsutetsu. Ragarrl lil' ozam. Dormagyn vel'bol dos shlu'ta p'los lil' chath vaq'e ol jal. Alu nin." The alpha ordered, shooting the teal and grey beast a sharp look to keep him from protesting.

"Dorn dormagyn zil mzilt zil usstan shlu'ta..." He grumbled in return, gently touching the other beta's shoulder to offer some comfort before getting up to head for the ship as he'd been ordered to. He couldn't say he was surprised that the redhead didn't react to his touch. As he approached the ship his skin took on a silvery, almost chromed appearance and without hesitation, he entered the ship, seemingly unafraid of the fire spreading through the vessel. It didn't take long for him to exit, place some supplies on the ground then go back in for more. He apparently was attempting to save what he could from the mangled remains of their spacecraft.

"You have a name? I am Bakugou, Katsuki. I am the alpha of this pack and was captain of that flaming scrap heap. The two big guys are my betas, Kirishima, Eijirou is the red one, Tetsutetsu is the silver one. The pink one was our omega, Ashido, Mina..." He finally introduced, words sounding rather hollow as he spoke, like he was just going through the motions. "Are your people capable of faster than light travel?"

Izuku had hoped that there would be a chance for the eggs, however, between the one the alien had picked up and the one that had been pulled out, it was decided that they were too small to be saved. He felt for these poor folks, knew that they had nothing left of their female companion to hold dear, beyond memories. Izuku had no warning, but he was soon pulled from his kneeling position by the alien, and had his head roughly connected to the other's forehead by shockingly strong antennae. When the tingling began, he feared the worst-- was his brain going to be melted because he wasn't of any use, possibly a witness they didn't want? Naturally, Izuku was terrified, his green eyes wide with fear, as any sane person would be in this position.

However, when he was freed, he stumbled back, falling on his ass with a yelp, before looking up at the other in shock. Then came his tongue, telling him that there was no saving the eggs, and he hiccupped softly. "I-I'm so sorry.... if I had been faster, m-maybe--" he bit his lips shut when the lithe male began giving orders, and watched as each member began performing their duties. When the chromed alien headed over to the ship, Izuku stood on shaky legs, concern washing over him. "M-may I help him? I can lift things out of the way if he needs it--" he offered, though he had a feeling he'd done enough in their eyes, or would be seen as weak.

Izuku soon looked to the red alien with a heavy heart, sympathy clear on his tear-streaked features. She was so important to them.... and they lost her. When Katsuki adressed him, he looked over, listening closely. "I-I am Midoriya, Izuku.... and no, w-we aren't capable of that yet. We would have been, maybe, if we didn't have an evolution within the past thirty years or so...." Izuku responded quietly, before hearing his GPS going off once more. "A-ah-- I don't think you understood me before, but I have help on the way, medical help!! There's three on the way, about a mile out, now!!" Izuku warned, not knowing how the strangers would take this. Especially as he began to realize these were actually aliens. "Sh-should I hide you guys, somehow? I promise the ones coming are my closest friends and allies-- all they would want to do is help you three, whatever you needed!!" Izuku assured, hoping nothing terrible happened, be it miscommunication or unintentional harm in some way shape or form.

"If you had been here faster, her insides would still be spilled out on the ground. You tried to save someone more dead than alive." It was almost impossible for them to show their gratitude at that moment, but they would, given the chance to recover at least for a moment. Much to his surprise, the greenette was offering to help Tetsu with the heavy lifting. Strange little pink thing had spunk if nothing else... "I doubt you could help much and you don't look very fireproof. It'll give him something to focus on... I can't risk both of my betas being inconsolable."

The anxious alien continued on then and had some good news at least. Help with their injuries was less than a couple of klicks away. "Good... None of us got away unscathed." While Bakugou had gotten away with bad bruising and some cuts and a rib he was sure was broken, Tetsutetsu was even more banged up, and Kirishima seemed to have the worst of the open wounds next to their now passed companion. The lot of them would need stitches, but at least it was very unlikely that the betas had any broken bones between them. Durable bastards, thanks to their hardening abilities.

He scoffed then at the suggestion of being hidden away. "We're not fucking cowards... Besides, where would you even hide us? How would you convince anyone a space ship with seats in it was an unmanned craft?" He sighed harshly, shaking his head as he made his way over to his still sobbing beta. "Ei... Doer ghil..." He murmured to the poor creature, antenna once again swinging forward, this time to wrap around his companion's head. The poor thing whipped and hiccuped, his own, thicker and more tendril-like ones returning the gesture as they touched foreheads. Unlike with Izuku, Katsuki's hands came up to gently cup the other's cheeks, thumbs rubbing affectionately. As intimate as the action had seemed with the greenette, it was clearly much more so this time.

When they detangled from one another, the alpha pressed a kiss to the larger's head, even as he settled back down to snuggle the corpse he still refused to put down. Leaving his side then, he made his way over to the ship, repeating the gesture, caresses and all, with their silver member then checked over what he'd managed to salvage so far. Without thinking about it, one of his hands came up to cup his rib, trying to ignore the pain. One of his wings hurt pretty bad too... He hoped that wasn't broken as well...

This left Izuku in the company of the most distressed member of the pack, the poor beast nuzzling pink curls. "Mina... Please... Come back... Come back... What will I do without you? I'll be so lost... I am who I am because of you, please don't leave... I love you... Please... Don't leave us... C-come back..." Begged the wretched creature, the limp, bloody body cradled so lovingly in his arms having little to offer as comfort other than slowly fading body heat.

Izuku frowned softly at Katsuki's fairly harsh response, but he wasn't wrong. Mina had been too far gone, and even with a hospital in walking distance, it would take a miracle to put her back together proper, let alone allow her to survive. Though, when the other commented on him not being fireproof, he considered allowing some of his Black Whip out, but thought better of it. Maybe another time-- Tetsutetsu needed this distraction. If anything happened, though, he would jump in in a heart beat. He nodded in understanding, worrying his bloody hands together, only to look at them, and frown. They should try to clean up soon.

"I-I don't doubt it-- I heard the atmospheric entry, then the crash proper on the way over. And, seeing it all now.... if you all were human, without the right quirks...." He glanced to Mina's tragic form, before shaking his head softly. "What matters now is that you're alive, able to move on, if you so chose. I just hope our processes won't hurt you further. Do you possibly have a way to test, without excessive adverse effects?" Izuku asked, still all too worried about these extraterrestrial strangers. He would be horrified if Hydrogen peroxide acted to them as hydrochloric acid did to most humans.

At being scoffed at, Izuku frowned again, before grimacing at all the scifi-genre related possibilities for why this manned ship would be empty. "Unfortunately theres a lot of creative ways to theorize why no one was found in the wreckage.... ideally, most are more merciful than others. And, frankly.... I'd try hiding you in my home, if I had to." He admitted, clearly willing to do what he could to protect the aliens before him. After all, knowing what happened to Nezu before he became UA's principal, he could bet good money that unethical humans would happily hop onto the chance to dissect aliens, figure out how they worked, their weaknesses. Though, Izuku wondered if these aliens had something similar to quirks, or if they were slimy adaptations of some sort.

Izuku watched with bitter sweetness as Katsuki began affectionately relaying information like he had to the human to the others in his pack. Though, it came at the cost of hearing poor Eijiro clearly, now, as he begged and cried over the still beautiful woman in his arms. The greenette didn't know what to do, say to help the other. But, he couldn't just stand there, being awkward as he was-- he had to do something. Carefully, slowly, he gently rubbed a seemingly safe area of the other's back in a soothing gesture, his mouth dry. "She l-loves you all so much.... I-I can tell." He tried, hoping to bring a lighter note to this painful situation. Was he succeeding? Maybe not, but it was all he could do without risking further pain in some form. He just wanted to help, even as he began to cry all over again. He was truly too empathetic at times.... Some of his more distant, personal gain-oriented colleagues viewed it as weakness.

"You're giving us too much credit. I was just lucky and my betas can both become almost invulnerable to damage. Which is saying something because they're both hurt. It's probably the only reason they survived. I... I should be much more hurt than I am. I should be..." He trailed off, looking over at his best friend and their lifeless pink mate. Even if Izuku was fairly new to the whole heroing thing, the surviver's guilt was hard to miss. It also wasn't hard to tell that he was keeping it together by leaning into his leadership role and wasn't really as okay as he was trying to seem.

The blond shook his head and refocused, starting to make his way to the pair. "I don't know how different our species are or how our medical treatment differs. I can tell you that the betas just need their wounds closed up and they'll heal on their own in a few days. I don't have any abilities that would speed things along." The insistance that he would somehow be able to hide their existance earned him a rather flat look. "And how would you explain away the blood soaked earth, assuming you managed to somehow collect every bit of gore and egg there is?" He shot back, clearly having accepted that complete secrecy was impossible. Now all that could be done would be to wait and hope that the aliens that took them into custody would be kind to those not of their world. He didn't like the idea of being at their mercy, but he wasn't stupid.

While Bakugou went about teaching them the new language as well as making sure everything was organized, Izuku had the chance to try and make a difference with the most emotionally devastated of the group. While it was obvious that he was upset with the language barrier in place, once it was removed it was so much worse. It was obvious enough already that he was very close with the pink girl, but being able to understand his sorrowful words was nothing short of heart-wrenching. It was a painful part of hero work too... After large scale disasters or villain attacks, there was bound to be some victims that lost it as they clung to the loved ones that didn't make it. The fact she'd been pregnant made it that much worse too.

When touched him, he didn't flinch away, instead lifting his head as he was spoken to. He nodded with a whimper. "She did... She was our mate. She was so good to us, she didn't deserve this! She didn't..." Though he was still intent on cuddling with the corpse, he did shift to nuzzle his face against the other's chest. Considering he was still sitting on the ground while doing so, this was a reminder of just how large he was. Despite only having just met the greenette he was already seeking comfort from him. Poor thing... He seemed so sweet and gentle in spite of his large size. "We met when we were barely adolescents... She was my oldest and best friend! How will I live without her...?" He whimpered on, an unfair question really. It was so hard to answer, but grief often made us unreasonable.

Izuku saw the guilt the other bore, and frowned softly, offering a gentle touch to his better arm. "Freak accidents happen, and I can assure you I've seen a great many while at work. A bolt falling out into where it shouldnt be, halting an engine, or a tree being cut wrong and it landing on some poor soul's car. The unexpected is a seemingly endless list.... not even our current super computers can account for everything, and.... even those who can see into the future can be proved wrong." Izuku frowned at the memory of the late Nighyeye, before shaking his head. "Youre.... only a person. To set unfair expectations upon yourself will only hurt you." He gave the other's shoulder a gentle squeeze, as well as a sad smile.

"If all else fails, we could probably take you all to Recovery Girl!! Granted, it uses your natural stamina to speed up self repair, but it's quite reliable!" Izuku explained, only to laugh weakly, nervously as the other put holes in his plans. "Carnivorous animals and scavengers....?" He supplied weakly, knowing there were a few in the area at least.

Izuku listened to Eijiro's pained words with sympathy in his heart, and didn't flinch when the larger creature leaned his head into his chest. God, he was so big, and so, so gentle.... The human began to gently pet over the other's head and nape soothingly, more than willing to do his best. When that pained question came, the greenette thought on it, as his touch grew even more gentle, empathetic. "You could live in honor of her memory-- be the man she knew you to be. It will take a long time, I know.... But if you take even a step towards the future, you will have done a great deal. You're a big, sweet guy, with a big, big heart.... And it's okay to hurt, miss someone dear to you. And, it's natural to ask for help if you need it-- and I'm here, for most anything in my power, too." Ozuku hiccupped softly, before giving the other a gentle squeeze, just as his backup arrived.

"Midoriya, we're here!!" Called a massive, caped blonde, followed by a young woman in navy and pink, and a young man with red and white hair. Izuku looked over, smiling with gentle relief.
