“We still have ten days,” she said, scooting back to lean against the canyon wall. “Surely we have time to rest and form a strategy before we move in?” Her eyelids drooped and she appeared to be having some trouble keeping them open. Despite that, she started rummaging through her pack for something.

The hot headed Barbarian King frowned. "You want to wait? While /your/ friend is in the hands of Kai? Fine." he shrugged, a low thump as he slid to the floor, crossing his legs he began to adjust his necklaces that got twisted during battle.

With Bakugou occupied on himself, a sure sign to his dearest companion that the blond was irritated, Kirishima decided to sit next to the new comer. His tail wrapping neatly around one of his legs. "Whatcha lookin' for?"

"I can keep going if I eat something. My fff--I have access to some potions and had a Rejuvenation potion put into some food. If I can find it, eating it can keep me going for hours. Your friend seems impatient and he's right to be." Green eyes flicked to the blond. "You're right. Nighteye's with Chisaki, alone, while I'm trying to get the energy to keep going." She pulled a purple cloth from her pack and unwrapped it to reveal a loaf of bread. She removed a piece of it as she spoke. "It's why I've been mainlining this stuff." She held up the bread hunk. "But you're also wrong about two things; the more time we take to plan, the more successful we'll be. He's a monster and I do want to save Nighteye fast but if we go in without any plan, all four of us will die. You're also under the impression that I want to rest long. I just need to rest for a few minutes so this can start working."

Kirishima's eyes wandered to watch as Yukiko dug through her bag, his curiosity sinking in as he tried to get a look at anything he could in there. He nodded a few times while she spoke, taking in her explanation for rest and honestly the dragon was all about resting. "Kats is impatient but he always is. We don't need to rush!" he insisted, thinking it be best for both humans to sleep while he stood watch.

Katsuki's eyes had shifted slightly to take a look at what Yukiko was talking about. Tch. Magic bread. The Barbarian's believed in spiritual healing from their appointed druid. "What plan do we need beyond Ei flying us in there so I can behead the bastard?" although Bakugou was praised for his triumphs in battle, it was well known that the King struggled with formulated strike. He was brash and seemed to just run in and get the job done, which is why he kept a team of advisors by his side.

The dragon took a moment to look above them, the sun beginning to dwindle and set in the West. "It's getting a bit late, how about you two sleep for the night and we can pick up tomorrow? Save your magic bread for when you really need it!" he offered with a large, sunny smile.

"Let's say we do it that way," the glare Yukiko sent the blond was dripping with venom, "Chisaki is as smart as he is cruel. I promise flying in on a /GIANT WINGED LIZARD/ is guaranteed to be noticed and get Nighteye killed before we can break into the palace! We. Need. A. Plan.”

"Then /what is your plan/??" he barked back, his lips snarling to show his sharpened canines. "You challenge me and yet I haven't heard your idea yet!"

"Kats.." the dragon whined, lowering his lead and whipping the end of his tail.

“Now that I’m no longer alone? Knock out two guards, steal their clothes and impersonate them using your friend as bait to get into the dungeons. We can say that he’s a prisoner or that we’re going to feed Nighteye to him, whichever will work best in the situation. Whatever the ruse, once we have him, your friend can break him out of the palace while you go after Chisaki with me as backup. Once Nighteye is safe…Kirishima, was it? can come back for us and the severed head of the King for your people. I’m open to alternatives of course but anything’s better than my plan when I was alone.”

Bakugou's eyebrow rose in interest.. that plan was actually great, not like he'd admit that. "Clever." he huffed, then deciding to delve into a matter more person, perhaps, he decided to press. "And what was your other plan?" The Barbarian had finished fidgeting with his jewelry, his bicep rings and necklaces back in their original position, he laid back more comfortably against the side of the canyon.

"It had a high chance of success but a low chance of survival. Nighteye's would have been guaranteed but not mine. It was a plan of desperation and I'm sure you know how those usually end."

[CRYBABY]

"Enough of your riddles, Mage! You were willing to /die/ for this man, this Seer? You're a fool. That's clearly one of the worst plans I've ever heard." he growled, boring garnet eyes at her.

"B-Bakugou! That wasn't very nice! She cares about that guy!"

"Oh yeah? And what's stopping Kai from /killing you/ and then going after the Seer again? Foolish. Fucking. Plan."
