"R-right...." Izuku replied, a cold knot in his stomach as the 'what ifs' spun around in his mind, how he should consider himself lucky they he wasn't part if a building's wall now, or a dumpter's. As Death Arms expressed that he'd be sent home if there was a way to, Izuku nodded weakly, any hope he had barely glowing brighter than an ember. Unless it would just kill this timeline if Izuku went back, if he was able to, things wouldn't be as they are now if he was able to go back. Then again, what life would he have if he did go back? Katsuki would still hate him, and he'd still be a quirkless nobody.... What would he even do, knowing what he already knew about the future now?

When Katsuki came back out, Izuku was a bit surprised, seeing how much his childhood friend had changed, yet was so unmistakable.... The smokey eye makeup was a neat touch, surely a remnant of the other's hero attire. He watched as the two adults interacted over the computer, and shifted awkwardly, noting how Katsuki, again, made it known that he'd be contacted should anything come of the investigation. But, when the blonde's attention was on him again, he perked up, if only slightly, and nodded. "Y-yeah.... H-how is Auntie? Is she still feisty?" He asked, hoping to lighten the mood a bit. "And what about Uncle? He might be really grey now...." He mused quietly, wondering how the two aged. Would it be with grace, or would they look a little worse for wear? He didn't know.... "Oh, uh.... I-Is there a chance I can shower before we eat, too?" He asked softly, embarrassed. There were a few spots on his middle school uniform that were clinging to his body, and he hated it.

The blond rolled his ruby eyes. "That's one way to describe the old hag..." He grumbled as they made their way towards the doors to leave. He looked over his shoulder then with a nod as his hands were full. "I'll write up my reports tonight and email them to you. Thanks for hosting me again this year."

"You just take are of yourself and your friend. Seriously. Try to relax for now. I'm sure you'll be contacted about this case soon enough." Assured the older hero, waving from his desk before getting back to work.

The blond sighed, but it really wasn't helping him relax, not with everything happening at the moment. "To answer your earlier question, yeah, the old man's starting to grey. When we get to my mother's you can go off and have a bath, well... Once my parents stop freaking out about you being back. I need to prep dinner anyway. I'm gonna be making katsudon and yellow tail, but if you want, you can help me with the mochi when you're done. We can go eat with Auntie after that. I'm sure she'd want to see you." For the first time, he seemed to be acknowledging Midoriya's mother, but there was something off about it.

He lead the way over to a motorcycle, the vehicle sleek and black, though the paint was scratched. Opening the seat he pulled out his helmet and a spare, offering it to Izuku and giving him the time to put it on as he eased the cases inside. It seemed that it hadn't even occurred to him that his passenger may or may not have an issue with his mode of transportation.

Izuku followed Katsuki towards the door, and was somewhat glad that Auntie still had some spice to her.... Though, he hoped that she matured too, became less.... cruel to Katsuki. The greenette waved good-bye to Death Arms as the pair left, soon leaving the two alone outside. When Katsuki spoke about how his parents would probably fuss over Izuku upon seeing him, he felt a little worried, wondering how they would react. Though, when Katsuki said he could help with the Mochi, then they would see his mother, a faint hope warmed his chest. Maybe his Mom was just in a nursing home, that's why she wouldn't be home, right? Though.... wouldn't Auntie and Uncle have possibly had her stay with them?

When Izuku saw the motorcycle, his eyes grew wide, stating at it in awe as Katsuki got out the helmets for them both. "Y-you ride a motorcycle, Kaachan? That's so cool!!" He smiled, the distraction welcomed somewhat. He took the offered helmet and tried to put it on, and after a but of fussing, it was on securely!! ThThough, maybe the helmet looked a little comically large on the poor teenager. However, once the helmet was on, the poor greenette was at a loss of what to do next. Sure, he knew that he'd have to sit behind Katsuki, but.... he didn't know what else to do from there. Where do his feet go? And how was he supposed to hold onto the blonde without getting him dirty or hindering his driving? He didn't watch a lot of action movies involving motorcycles.

He was a little surprised to find that Izuku was excited about his owning a motorcycle, particularly as he'd been recently suffering from a headache and motorcycles weren't exactly known for being quiet modes of transportation. "Think so, huh? Shoulda realized you might be the thrill seeking type with how bad you've always wanted to be a hero. Here..." The blond was surprisingly gentle about adjusting the straps to make sure the helmet fit right before swinging a leg over to sit himself on the seat.

For the moment, he didn't turn the engine on, keeping his attention on Izuku. "Come on, sit behind me." Once the teen had joined him he started to offer further instruction, pointing as he went. "My feet go here, yours go there. You can hold on to me or the little bar behind the seat. I can tell you without a doubt you'll feel way more secure holding onto me. Other than that, you just need to keep your balance with me. You'll get a feel for it, don't worry. Ready?" He waited in case, not wanting to take off before the teen felt sure. If he panicked and they fell, it would be a bad day for both of them.

Izuku certainly still bore a headache, but at least it was fading, little by little. All the same, the threat of it worsening, even temporarily, was overshadowed by his excitement over how cool his Kaachan was!! He blushed faintly as Katsuki made sure the helmet was on properly, and hummed once it was set in place, his heart beating a little fast afterwards. "My life hasn't really been thrilling until recently...." He gave a weak smile at that, recalling how he hasn't even been to an amusement park yet.

Izuku did as told, his heart hammering against his ribs and ears as he moved close to the blonde. He'll blame the nerves on being on a motorcycle for the first time, if Katsuki notices him being jittery and nervous. But who could blame Izuku? His Kaachan had grown to be so handsome, strong, and.... So, so gentle, patient, too. He was so different compared to the Kaachan from middle school.... Once his arms were around the others toned yet still tiny waist-- good gods above and below, it felt so nice-- he gave a shaky nod against the others back. "Y-yeah, I'm ready, Kaachan!!" He hoped he was ready, anyways. After all, he did worry about the balancing part of the experience.... But, he had to have faith in the hero he was holding onto so tightly.
